This upscale Italian cucina raises the bar with tablecloths that are pressed after each service, servers who are 3rd level sommeliers and ingredients that are brought in from Italy every day! Our table had 4 people so we decided to do family style and sample a few items on our first visit. DJ our server was full of suggestions and very informative. Every suggestion was perfect! Not one dish was disappointing in the over 3 1/2 hours that we wined and dined. Sampling calamari, burrata salad with green tomatoes, lobster risotto (for two) and a pasta dish topped with caramelized onions a la foie gras. Dessert was divine. Think tiny dreamy pillowy donuts on lemon curd with Chantilly cream. Homemade limoncello available after dinner as a digestif. This is now my favourite restaurant for a special occasion in Calgary. Make a reservation a few weeks ahead, it fills up fast on the weekend. -if you don't have a takeaway box from your already amazing meal that you just couldn't finish there's also a mercado next door with lots of great options for take aways (for the next day or week). *Underground parking available & coat check.

First date night experience was excellent , as we had strictly appetizers. Next time was with a bunch of my girlfriends & we tried a few starters & decided to do main dishes. One of the dishes had clearly frozen peas. My pasta dish did not have enough sauce. Pretty disappointed after 1st time. Not sure I'll give it third try

Fantastic place I've been wanting to try! The service was great and our server was extremely knowledgeable with all the different dishes. I normally just go for pasta, but so glad she suggested to the octopus. The ambience was very laid back and classy and it was great dinner overall. Delicious cocktails and it was so nice to see some non alcoholic options.

Very nice experience. Good in a quaint environment. The service was exceptional and free parking downstairs.

Book this for your next meeting with Jasper Morris, Anne Krebiehl and Peter Liem lol A very well researched selection, from Meursault villages to the most coveted 1ers & Grands Crus in white and red: Puligny, St. Aubin, Volnay, Pommard, Vosne-Romanee, Gevrey Chambertin, ... Lafarge, Hubert Lamy, Leflaive, Mugneret-Gibourg, Some excellent lower yield & early accessible vintages like the 2019. Not many bottles are older than 10 years, but a number of suppliers provide pretty much the rarest new stuff available in the region. Cold cuts, sardines and cheese served, the place is full of young young, smiling people listening to unobtrusive music. Make sure you find the stairs from the street level to get here. Oh, and they have Les Robarts by Suenen. I had to visit four wine stores in Champagne to get two bottles of that. Good luck finding that anywhere else.

The cocktails were meticulously crafted--priced at $15-20 a drink, it's on par with bigger cities like Vancouver and Toronto, but they also live up to the standard. Honestly, the highlight of our visit to Missy's was the Missy's This That charcuterie board. Each piece of cured meat was sliced impossibly thin, the olives were meaty and delicious, and the cheeses were carefully selected to complement everything. I loved that it also came with a side of thick cut bread and pickled vegetables. One of the best charcuterie boards I've had at a restaurant for sure. Not cheap but worth the pretty penny on a slightly fancy night out.

I was with my wife so we shared everything but otherwise it may have been awkward. Drink menu is good, including several margaritas. My standard version was delicious and the second one was just as good! The food was really good. We had scallops, tuna, and prawns; all really good but the Tuna Tostada always amazing.
