Right before the pandemic my husband purchased a suit. What they have good is correct is the service. They are kind and listen to your needs and what you want. You pick out every aspect of your suit from the button to the zippers, the collar, the lining, the pockets etc. You can even get an a logo embroidered inside your jacket or your name. Expect at least a 30 minute fitting. Our suit came up to about $2500. It also included two custom shirts. Loved all the details especially about selecting the fabric and all the other great things. The suit was not delivered on time. And when it was delivered the sizing was off and it we had to send it back. I will not discourage you from shopping here because I actually like speaking with the staff there and the experience but I think the suits are overpriced. Quality of the suits cannot compare to some other less expensive suits in my husbands closet. You pay for the experience and your ability to customize. read more

They have held up through constant use through the years and look as amazing as the day they were custom made for me. Joe, the owner, has always made himself available to answer my every question and has bent over backwards to get me my suits done in time and to perfection. The best part about it all is that he charges about half what you would pay for a similar quality off the rack. Before discovering Luca Falcone I had bought several Ermegenildo Zegna, Carolina Herrera, and Armani suits, then had them tailored to fit me better. I can honestly say that what you'll get from Joe is not only comparable in quality of construction, but will also fit you better and make you look amazing. The latest suit that I bought from Luca was the tux I wore for my wedding, and I would not have trusted anyone else to make it for me. I must admit I have very little experience with such places, as they are typically outside my price range and I normally purchase used or premade/sized formal wear. The vest was produced and sent within a reasonable time, far ahead of the wedding. It was of high quality, and I still use it regularly. 4 stars Facilities: Nestled in the Lower Garden District end of Magazine street, this storefront utilizes the existing architecture with a bit of faux antiquing to give it a polished look. The signage is understated, but with the high-end products and services here, that is perfect for the setting. This place is a step into the past. It's a small boutique clothing store located on the trendy part of Magazine Street and it oozes with style. Posters of Sean Connery as James Bond and Humphrey Bogart as Rick from Casablanca line the walls. Men can find shirts, suits, sports coats, ties, wallets, flasks, hats and shoes. Women can find dresses and other stylish things (though to be honest I wasn't paying attention to the women's section.) You can go here and have a personal shopper in the same way you would at say Nordstroms or some big department store, but somehow it feels more intimate here. This place is great! Guys, if you are unhappy with the fit of your off the rack suits, this is the place to go. I have issues with off the rack suits. I have an athletic build, broad shoulders, small waist and larger thighs. My shoulders are two sizes bigger than my jacket waist and my pants need a lower waist band and tapering, since I have strong thighs. The store on magazine street is amazing. Everyone there is helpful and the service is excellent. There is a variety of materials and linings to choose from. The jackets are half canvassed, but drape just as well as full canvas suiting. In New Orleans, it maybe too hot to wear a full canvassed suit. Rye, Vashon, Sonny and Tony were excellent to work with. I was getting ready for my wedding and realized I needed a better fitting suit as well as a tuxedo that fit me perfect. For my suit, which I wore for my rehearsal dinner, was a navy birds eye suit with custom lining. Vashon did my initial sizing. They take over 30 measurements and create a custom paper for you for your suit. The suit takes about 3 weeks to make. You come in for the first fitting and Rye and Tony look to see how the suit fits. After my first fitting, I was a little worried since the suit needed alterations. I have a shoulder that sits lower and the shoulder width needed to be reduced. I have broad shoulders, so the shoulders needed some shaping. We are talking bespoke type shaping. Rye and Tony assured me the alterations were minor. I came in for my second fitting and the suit fit very well. I am very particular on my fit and asked for a some slight adjustments to my pants. My third fitting was perfect! I couldn't be happier. My suit turned out amazing and I received many compliments on it. For my tuxedo, I decided to try a place in New York that came highly recommended from style forum. The place in NYC sends you a suit and you take pictures and send hem back. I got my tuxedo and it fit awful. At this point, I was stressed out since I was only one month out from my wedding. I went back to Luca Falcone and saw Rye. He said, since they updated my paper with the alterations from my suit, they could hit my need date with no issues. Rye also made me a custom shirt for my tuxedo. My tuxedo came in a week before my wedding, in time to make a few minor alterations. The tuxedo came out perfect! I felt and looked great! Guys, why should your fiancé be the only one to stand out and look great on the wedding day? Get a custom fit! My tuxedo was midnight blue with a custom shawl. My groomsmen wore black tuxedoes and the slight differences made a nice contrast against them. I have learned quite a bit about suiting since visiting Luca Falcone. Please, do not do online made to measure suiting. My suit with indochino is on it's 3rd remake. The remake process is a hassle. The place in New York is making a different suit for me, since they blew my need date. I actually took time away from my honeymoon to get measured in NYC and my fingers are crossed to see if the suit fits. I also had a chance to see some fellow suits at my tailor. He showed me their deficiencies. They don't have a store front, so that turned me off with them as well. But, I know some folks like them. I haven't tried them personally. A small boutique clothing store located on the trendy part of Magazine Street is just where you would expect to find this bespoke tailor shop to be located. When you walk in, you can feel the attention to detail in quality everywhere you look. I had the opportunity to deal with my personal clothier, Don Moore. Within minutes I was being led down a personal dream of mine of having the material, cut and design of handmade suits guided by a man who is a master of his craft. They had me bring in a personal coat that I had tailored somewhere else and immediately started pinch and pulling at the deficiencies in my coat and gathering the proper measurements for my new ones. I was amazed at how ill-fitting my "favorite" suit coat was actually was designed. I was soo impressed by my new found friend that I quickly ordered two suits two extra pants and 6 dress shirts for my new "suit of armor". It took a bite out of my AMEX card, but nothing exudes confidence like a bespoke suit. After a few hours, my measurements were taken, materials were chosen and a second fitting was scheduled a month in advance. I was reminded that there would be a few more fittings before my suits would be ready, but I can't wait to get them and donate my closet full of mediocracy when I get home. Suits start at $700.00 and is not much more than I pay for an off the rack suit after i have them tailored. The suits come with free alterations for the life of the suit and depending on your budget, your choices are only limited by your willingness to pay for it. My wife ordered me a fancy tie and pocket square for me from here. It came in the mail. The tie is completely unwearable. First, there is a tear along the seam, and instead of redoing the tie, they just seem to have stitched it up with a large piece of thread. Next, the tie is completely crooked. Not just in how it falls, but the seam on the back snakes back and forth near the folded edges. Third, the lining is bunched in places and not existent in others. So it's lumpy. I'm not sure why Luca Falcone thought it would be ok to send this to a customer. I don't think anyone can wear it. read more

COMPLETE AMATEURS at both custom tailored clothing and customer service!! I came in to get a custom-made shirt. I was measured by a man named Don who was friendly enough. The price of the shirt was $180. I don't mind paying that for a well-made piece of custom clothing. But I told him very specifically that I liked my shirts to fit me tightly. He said he was measuring for that. He told me the shirt would take 4-6 weeks to arrive. THREE MONTHS passed and the shirt had not arrived. I called the shop and was told it would be there shortly. Another few weeks passed and I called again. I had to be in San Francisco for a couple months for business, so I asked him to ship it to San Francisco since it had taken twice as long as I was told to arrive. Don insisted on me paying the $30 shipping fee, despite the fact that he had been so erroneous in his calculations to begin with. When you pay $180 for a shirt, you expect a certain level of customer service that this place clearly does not understand. When the shirt finally arrived, it was extremely loose fitting and baggy. Either Don's measurements were off or the manufacturer did not adhere to them. This shirt is unwearable under any of the fitted suits that I wear and further unwearable without a blazer because it's not 1996 anymore and nobody is interested in a shirt like this. I immediately called and spoke to a manager named Phil who told me that I could return the shirt and they would refund my money (cause who wants to deal with a place this incompetent anymore). Then, a day later, Phil emailed me and refused to accept the shirt or refund my money, instead offering to have ME pay for shipping back to New Orleans so that he could have the shirt altered to fit my measurements correctly. It's so loose and baggy that each piece would have to be COMPLETELY re-cut to fit me correctly. I want nothing to do with this business and unless you want to waste your money on clothes that don't fit with amateurish customer service, you would be better off going somewhere more reputable. Luca Falcone is the epitome of New Orleans incompetence. Furthermore, if you look a little closely at their positive reviews on this site, there are 3 of them written by friends of the business. It's THAT obvious because they're written by women. It's a men's custom clothing store which requires men to be present for the fitting. So the notion that a woman would shop here for a man and then be the one to post a review - that's rather suspect to me. Looks like they're trying to boost their Yelp ratings.... read more

My husband, father, father-in-law, and brother-in-law all had suits made for my wedding. My husband's AND my father's suits were made in the wrong color. Honestly, this would not have bothered me, since there was still time for Luca to correct their error. However, we were extremely disappointed about how they handled the situation. When we initially contacted Luca Falcone about the incorrect color, they said that we must have picked up the wrong suit. Luckily, my husband had his initials labeled inside the suit. The wrong colored suit had his initials in it. Once we pointed this out, they just blamed the error on someone else. They never admitted that they were at fault. There was no customer service. They just said they would put a rush on the correct color. Yes, the suits were made on time, but we did not have time to correctly alter them because of the time crunch. You would think that a small business like Luca Falcone would have outstanding customer service, but unfortunately they do not. We were extremely disappointed.
