One star is too many for this shitty business. The charged $110 for an oil change on my son's Civic this afternoon. A 5 quart 0W-20 from Autozone cost $24.00. They charged 86.00 for less than 6 minutes worth of work. Convenience is one thing, price gouging customers is another story. Please don't patronize this company - they have no issues with overcharging consumers. I had originally left a good review but as of today 5/19/25 I will never bring my vehicles there for an oil change or car washes again! I went there this morning and was going to get an oil change and I asked the serviceman if he would put an air filter in that I received as a gift as long as he was going to remove the old one to inspect it. He stated he could do that but he would have to charge me $24.94 to do that! I said I wanted to speak to the manager so he got him and I asked if he could change it out as long as the old one was out and he said they would still have to charge me the 24.95!. I said why and he said it was company policy and I said as a favor you couldn't just put in the new one and he said no because of his integrity! I closed my hood and said I will go somewhere else with all of my vehicles from now on. I've been going there for 25 years and this is how you get treated!! read more

Bought my oil to do my own oil change and found out that I couldn't get under the car nor get the jack under it to hold it. So I thought I would just take it in for an oil change and take back the oil and filter that I bought at Meijer. I took it to Lube Master because it was close and I had a coupon. I'll NEVER return to this place again. Just because I'm a women, I shouldn't be taken advantage of. Charged me $94 ($84 with coupon) stating that my oil was special oil. Well I bought it at Meijer for normal price, why would you charge me an outrageous price for a simple oil change to a 2024 Toyota Corolla? NEVER AGAIN. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Even Toyota didn't charge me that much. read more

Prices continue to go up, not to mention my vehicle requires synthetic oil. Last 2 changes I got here one sticker said come back in 3,000 miles the next said 4,000 miles. I started bringing my car here for oil changes because I have an excess of oil for my vehicle and they will allow me to provide my own oil. I instacart religiously so I typically require additional oil changes in between the recommendations on my oil change stickers so, I track the mileage myself. The guys at the shop are very nice, super quick and always super personable while I'm waiting for them to finish my vehicle. My car has over 100k miles so I use an oil for higher mileage and I thought that for the past few months the service tech at Lube Master was just being proactive in adjusting my next oil change mileage to 3k miles on the sticker because that's what's recommended. However, my next oil change recommended sticker after having it serviced here was set to 2k miles and upon reviewing my most recent oil change sticker from them, it is set to 1.5k miles. I've been serviced by the same technician each time I've brought my vehicle here so I'm unsure if this is an isolated issue with one employee or just how they're taught to treat their customers but, I will not be returning for future services. read more

After waiting for 50 minutes with only 1 car ahead of me and the cars that were in the bays were there over 40 minute. I decided to enter and exit the bay without an oil chang. Key word: sexist. I have been going to this place for years to get affordable car service and oil changes. I usually go here with my father, but this time I went with my mother. Being two women here, they suddenly charged us three times the usual amount for a simple oil change. When confronted, they had no explanation. They also did additional flushes and cleanings without our permission, and demanded we pay for their unwanted services. This is unacceptable and we are sad to be in search of a new, go-to car place. Not to mention, it took 2 full hours for this one visit. This is my first yelp review, and hopefully my last. Worst service I've ever seen, it was shocking. read more

The technician broke the top off the dipstick! Now I am on the hook for trying to remove the balance of the dipstick and buying a new one! One time the tech forgot to reinstall the oil cap! Not only was oil everywhere, but I had to buy new oil and oil cap. A nice nearby shop brought it all to me since I was working in the ER that evening! Do not use this place! read more

An auto repair shortly after an oil change revealed only two quarts of oil in my car. My car was not leaking oil or burning oil. The only other scenario was that it was not filled up properly at oil change. Lube Master denied fault and insisted the car was burning oil along with some misogynistic remarks. I have gone there for 5 years and just bought a car with 20,000 on it, so decided to get the oil changed. First of all - The young men are very friendly and easy talk with - Then it goes down from there. The young man working on my car pulled out a type of survey paper and needed my address, phone number and other info. Said it was just in case something happens and they need to get a hold of me, lol. He wanted to know from a long list of things, what I would be interested in having checked. I told him I just needed an oil change. Then he proceeded to tell me, " well sir, we have 6 or 7 types of synthetic oil we can put in your car with the least expensive one being our own brand - But I would not recommend that one. Then they progressively get more expensive, to over $100. I bit my tongue and decided on Valvoline, which was just above the least expensive. Then as Im trying to walk away, he asked me if he could check my fluids and filters. I said sure, thinking they were just going to top off my fluids. 5 mins later they asked me to come back into the garage and had my two filters out of my car, wanting me to get new ones. The one kid even told me I have an oil leak. Now I'm nervous and about to blow up. These kids were taking parts off my engine to look at everything. OMG. I pulled myself together and said, I just want the oil changed. I walked back in and asked the young lady at the counter if they were new owners, because this tactic was never done before. She said YES, we bought this 6 months ago from the old owner. Being a real estate salesman years ago I knew this became just a hard sell lube place now, like they use to do in the old days. Before I left I overheard the young lady at the counter talking to one of the workers, telling him that I'ts been so slow, no one has been coming in lately. Ya Think!! Just a word to the new owner. This type of tactic will ruin your business. Nobody will want to come back. I for sure will never come back. Making an apt today to have Buick check my car after going through that nightmare. read more

Have been going there for several years for oil changes and such. Last visit, the technician stated that Infiniti requires that the differential fluid be changed on each axle at 30,000 miles. He said that he recommends 40,000, but Infiniti is particular that way. I asked if this service was listed in the owner's manual as required and he replied "Absolutely". I declined the service, and a quick glance at the owner's manual reveals that it should only be inspected periodically. I gave Lube Master a chance to respond, but they have not. So what does this tell us? Either Lube Master is trying to "upsell" non-required services or that they are incompetent. read more

I went in to get an oil change and the gentlemen wearing the white shirt on staff was extremely rude. I was in line waiting for a bag to open up. Once the bay opened the gentlemen stood there - did not waive me so I waited a little longer...still no signal to come in. I finally drove into the bay - my windows were down and I could hear the man in the white shirt saying negative things about me. Finally get in and I get out of my car and this guy starts screaming and cursing at me - telling me I almost put my car in the pit. Well it would have been helpful if he actually tried to direct me in. We exchanged words and I told him I'm not getting my oil changed at this place now. My wife and her family have been bringing their cars here for years - we will no longer bring our cars here. read more

Noticed oil leaking onto my driveway several days after getting oil changed here. Took car to dealer, who advised the washer on the pan plug was wrong size, plus the plug was over tightened. The over tightening also put a crease in the oil pan. So....I got the oil changed at the dealership, who used the correct gasket and got the issue resolved. BY THE WAY......the dealers price for the same synthetic oil service was significantly less!!!! I guess that's the silver lining. In fairness, on site employees were polite and professional. Unfortunately, Manager said he couldn't give me a refund because I went to the dealer instead of bringing the leak to their attention first. My point was I wanted someone other than a lube tech to determine if there was a mechanical issue. Left a voicemail for owner who hasn't called back. Guess where I won't be going for any future oil changes..... read more

Steer clear. They incorrectly installed the drain plug causing a massive oil leak. If my oil warning light had not gone on, I would have suffered thousands of dollars in engine damage. So far they have not got back to me..... read more

I came here for an oil change because it was conveniently on my way home from work. I thought $78 was expensive for an oil change with "house/generic" synthetic oil. When I compared this bill against the last oil change I had at Tuffy's, Lube Master was $33 more expensive...almost TWICE AS MUCH. I'll never be back! read more

Wow what a ripoff !!! Can ya just change my damn oil and not tell me everything that's wrong with my car? It used to take 10 min now it's much longer. I tell him just an oil change . I wait 10 min he brings me out to show me a dirty cabin filter and other things I can do myself . Can ya just change my oil ? Then I wait another 10 min he comes in to tell a bulb is out which I know . Ok can ya just change my oil? Finally I get to pay . The final straw is that they raised their rates by 10 dollars. Wow just left lube master , it was literally 10 minutes on a Friday afternoon. I have a Dodge Ram pickup so it's always take extra oil. Paid $40 which is extremely reasonably for fast service and extra oil. This is my new to go oil change service since I moved over here. I definitely agree with the current reviews. I dropped the stars down from 5 to 3 because of the annoyance asking or recommending every little thing with my van. I told him just the oil and anything else I'll take care of. Air filter they recommend change, wipers, side marker light, power steering fluid was a tad bit over on the recommend level. Been 20 minutes and still waiting when I pulled right into a stall. Now I'm dropping this place down to 2 stars. My wife's vehicle was dripping oil and they didn't tighten up the bolt for the oil pan. This happened to my truck when I was there with it. I brought it to my mechanic because I needed new breaks and told him about oil and he said whoever changed your oil last never tightened up bolts for oil pan. My favorite and only place that I go. I can leave here and not feel like I've been taken advantage of. Very professional and courteous people. Not too bad with pricing, about average and they do offer coupons in the val pak in the mail if you're looking to save. They don't try to talk you into anything you don't need. I can't tell you how many times other places will try to talk me into filters of all kinds that I had changed at the last oil change. Not here, they will show you the dirty filter so you know they aren't trying to rack up your bill. Quick service and right next to a car wash that they will offer coupons for. The car wash will give you coupons for the oil change as well so do that first! Try it, you'll like it! read more

The new owners have invested in a nice renovation, but they are ALL about up selling. I asked for synthetic oil, and was quoted a much higher price than the coupon I had. I presented the coupon and was told that was an "old" price. I showed the expiration date which was still good, and after checking with the supervisor, he said they would honor it this time, but next time, no way. I said I would pay what the coupon showed and nothing more. I will not be using this place any longer. I advise you stay away. read more

I have been going to Lube Master since 2005. Liked the place because they were fast and reasonable. Right around $30 mark. Well, that has all changed in 2019. New owners; Price is now $62, and they are calling this Full Service. I guess I will be looking for a new oil change center. read more

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Have been coming back for years given the friendly staff, great prices, and overall good quality service. Today they were able to change a headlight another facility said was unable to be changed unless brought to a dealer. Going here for over 20 years now with multiple cars in our family from collectors cars that I trust few with to brand new ones. This place is owned and run by a family and treats you like family. Randy is always the go to guy also with questions. No BS like at that chain lube place that tries to upsell you everything you don't need. That chain place just tried to scare my daughter into buying a cabin air filter for just under $100. That stuff will never happen here. Kids have seen how their mom and dad have run this place over the years and now have the same treat your customers like family belief. Just a great place great family, Never a leak or an issue.
