I went in the next day and spoke to Richard the manager. He took the time to hear me out and discounted the oil filter I brought in. This visit is 4 stars because it took 2 visits to get it done. There are no shortage of oil change options in the medical center area, which can be tempting when issues like this come up. Valvoline Babcock will still be my go to for oil changes knowing that Richard is reasonable and has always corrected any issues.

On the reservation registration webpage, they specifically ask what kind of car I'll be having serviced. I filled it all in, and got a confirmation of my appointment. I showed up, and ended up waiting in the sun for 25 minutes past my appointment time before someone comes out waves me into the bay, where I wait some more before someone comes and talks to me. It's the mechanic, with a compass tattooed on his hand. He said that my car is difficult to change the filter on without burning his arms and he'd rather just not do it, and encouraged me to get my oil changed at the dealership. I was stunned. I don't drive a Lamborghini or some exotic car. I was displeased that they had the opportunity to tell me that they didn't want to work on my car when I made the appointment online the night before. They had another great opportunity to tell me that they didn't want to work on the car when I showed up and waited in my car for twenty five minutes. Any time during that twenty five minutes I was waiting in front of their garage bay door would've been a great time to come and tell me to quit waiting, because they didn't want to work on an imported vehicle. Even after I got guided into the garage bay, and as I sat in the garage bay and waited, they could've come out and said something about how they're not into imports and go find a dealership. They wasted my time. I'm not coming back. They certainly didn't get a honk on the way out of the service bay.

They had 5 chairs outside and people were waiting there. I waited outside for another 15-20 minutes for the oil change; it was a bit chilly but at least they had chairs. Ended up being $38 for conventional oil, and that was after my $25 off coupon had been applied. They also told me one of my air filters were dirty and could be relaced for $29.99. When I declined, they brough it down to $15 lol. I still declined though. Overall, it was an okay experience. Probably went during the busiest time of the day, but it was okay since it was my last errand for the day. Be prepared to wait and bring a book or something! Four hours later(12pm) I was told that it would not be done until around 5pm. They lied to me. They had not even started working on my vehicle yet. The real issue was that they had forgotten to order the part and they were waiting for it to be delivered. I was never told anything about the part issue at all. I only found out about the part issue when the manager explained everything to me when I picked up my car around 2pm. The person that wasted my time and lied to me never said anything about it to me or attempted to apologize to me. I can't put with things like that anymore and I will give my business to another shop in the future. They did knock off some money off of my bill,but it still doesn't make me feel good about the situation. I can't justify telling anyone to go to this Firestone location. One of my tires was reading low and I went to fill it and the wrong tire showed filling up. So I tried to check which tire it was by filling them all and they are all wrong. I called in, and was told my sensors needed to be replaced because they have gone bad. I googled it and it states,"If a wrong tire or mismatched location shows low air on your 2024 Chevy Malibu, it is almost always because the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors were not reprogrammed after a tire rotation or replacement." So I called back in and was told that no one can help me who is there right now and I have to come back when the technician who rotated my tires is in because he's the only person who can help me, if he can help me. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not bring your car here.
