Are you weary of your dreadful commute to work in your beige Toyota Camry? Tired of your overbearing boss who barely recognizes your great work? Then a few laps in a bright colored supercar may be therapy you need! I purchased a Groupon for the final cost of $50, good for the Supercar Autocross Challenge. The cost for this is listed as "starting at $249" on their website. Going the Groupon route I was able to cut the price in half off the $99 that was advertised on Groupon through a promotional discount, Groupon Bucks promotion, and finally Ebates/Rakuten cash back. Pro tip: always use Rakuten for cashback whenever buying a Groupon! LTF staff was helpful and friendly throughout the entire process of setting up the reservation to the time of when I actually got behind the wheel. There were 3 tracks and 4 cars available that sunny Saturday in November at the Santa Anita Racetrack parking lot. The cars offered were a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Coupe, and Aventador, and a Chevy Corvette. All also had automatic transmissions. Each of the cars were designated only for one of the 3 tracks. This is one of the drawbacks - if you prefer a particular car, you have to go with the track that car is assigned to, and vice versa. Each of the tracks differ slightly in the length of their straightaways and tightness of turns, while overall length is more or less the same. I took the Gallardo Coupe around for 6 quick laps (a staff member sits next to you in the passenger seat) after one warm-up slower lap needed to get familiar with the course. This was some of the most fun I've had since I first got my driver's license! The aural and visual presence of these cars cannot be denied. There was an option to purchase more laps and also to upgrade to a "better" car for extra cost at the session. In this case the upgrade would have been from the Gallardo to the Aventador. All of the cars make for a perfect photo op, just as long as you don't take interior pictures. Their interiors showed obvious signs of wear and tear over many driving sessions. Make sure to bring some water, wear comfortable shoes and clothes, and to drive it like you stole it! That's what the staff would want anyway. Trust me! I asked one of them and he said none of the driving he's witnessed as a passenger has remotely even made him nervous or scared. read more

As a car enthusiast, I have dreamt of driving a Lamborghini, Porsche, or Ferrari. I was referred to LTF adventures who went to LTF a few months ago. The more I look into it, the more convinced that I was able to afford the tickets! I found $90 on Groupon where one can drive six laps in an autocross challenge for 6 laps in a Lamborghini Gallardo, Porsche 911 Turbo, or FerrariF430. I bought my tickets for me and my dad 2 months prior and I was able to get an appointment for 30 mins at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. Upon we arrived at the Park, they have a small tent outside with approximately 7 or 8 employees and driving instructors. On the day, we arrived at the Santa Anita Park about 45 mins earlier. Once we signed in, we were offered 4 different cars: a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo, a red Ferrari FF, a blue Ferrari F430, and a black Audi R8. Out of the 4 cars, we were told that only the R8 and the 430 was included in the voucher and if we wanted to drive the Gallardo or the FF then we would have to add an upgrade fee of $25. My dad decided to drive the R8 and I decided to go with the 430. They also told us that they can record you driving the car for $25 each person. (They put your driving recording on a USB drive and give it to you) My dad and I agreed and they said 2 people they will charge $40. We agreed on the deal. We wait was short for our rides and we were able to take pictures with all 4 cars if you wish. I took advantage of it and was able to get some pretty decent pictures. The workers there were also nice enough to take pictures for me and the cars at various angles. Now here's the tricky part. one of the workers approached me and ask me if I wanted to drive the FF instead. I declined to say that I would like to save money and drive the F430, which is still an amazing car. Now, one of the workers along with the instructor told me that as long as I give my instructor some tips then I can drive the FF. I agreed and hopped in the car for 6 laps. Once I returned to the tent, I was very satfised. However, when I asked them if I could get the USB recording. They then told me that they don't have a camera in the FF. That was the time when I felt like I was not told the entire things. Since I paid $20 for the video and it was $25 to upgrade. They basically use the video money that I paid as an upgrade fee. I was not too happy about that. Since we are on the negatives of LTF, I would also like to say LTF is not as responsible as I would like. I called the number found on their website and yelp multiple time the day before my appointment day to ask questions. EVERY single time I called, I went straight to voice mail. It was so frustrating!! The voicemail said that one of the representatives will return the call within 24 hours but I never got a callback. I understand that LTF adventure is not a huge corporation and they have limited employees. However, they need to step up with their customer service! I was a victim of an event scammer. Therefore, I get extremely cautious when a company has limited ways to contact them. There were no email reminder or such as well. To summarize, I had a positive experience with LTF overall. Mainly was due to their price. They were able to let me drive my dream car with a price that a college student can afford. The negative about LTF is their lack of customer experience on the phone. I did not talk about the driving experince becusae it was amazing and no commented needed. Whichever car you end up choosing, I am sure you will enogh your time with the exoitc car of your choice. My only gripe is the Corvette wasn't listed on the site as one of the cars we would be driving... we were expecting it to be a Porsche or Ferrari (I know #firstworldproblems). I purchased two drives, one for me and one for my father. The 285 arcadia address brought us to the medical center, but you just keep going to the right and its right on the side of Macy's and Dave and busters. The staff was very friendly, not too many people. People drive peppy with the cars but they respect the limitations of the track which is great. When we went there were three cars, a yellow lambo a black Ferrari and a black Ferrari with decals on it...that one apparently is a track racing car, so that would be likely to give you a great thrill. My father got to ride in it and he loved it. Driving the yellow Lamborghini, I was amazed at the pickup on the straightaway. It's a great low key atmosphere and very fun. There's a little section with a canopy and chairs while you wait. Definitely would recommend to others, a great deal. read more

Bought my boyfriend a deal off Groupon for this place. It was only $90, so that was really good. Any other place for the same experience I was looking at paying $200+. Anyway, I was kinda disappointed that one of the cars they listed that was available to be driven wasn't there. They only had two choices. But my boyfriend was overly excited for it. Amazing!!!!!!!!! Experience of a life time!!!!!There were 4 cars, a 360 Ferrari, a 430f Ferrari, a Lamborghini Gallardo, and a 911 Porsche. I drove the 430f and did a ride along in the 911. It was worth every penny. I would have never gotten a chance to drive any of these cars if it wasn't for this great company. Instead of encouraging me to slow down, the instructor with me told me to go faster on the turns and floor it on the straight away. Manuel and his crew were extremely nice. Great, one of a kind people who were extremely nice to talk to and were very knowledgable about the cars they had. I had seen good reviews and was really excited to book an appointment, but was skeptical as to why all the good reviews were from 2 years ago... I now know exactly why. With my current experience, this business was extremely unprofessional, unreliable, and unorganized. When I called today (October 20th) I had hoped they had availability somewhere around two weeks from now, but they only had availability for one day, November 16th. I told them I could not make it that day, since I'm currently enrolled in school out of state, and they told me that I could simply just get a refund. I did not want to result to that yet so I asked if they had any availability in December since they had none in November. They then told me they would not know availability for December till November 25th. So what they were saying was that they only had one available slot in November and no known availability in December. When am I supposed to make an appointment? I initially spoke with a representative of LTF Adventures a few months before my wedding about a car rental. Upon calling this afternoon to solidify details, nobody at the company has heard of my reservation and company policy has since changed. Not only is delivery unavailable, I'm also unable to rent the vehicle for any extended period of time. Considering this is a special circumstance I would expect a company to bend the rules, even more so when a client is willing to pay any fees associated with doing so. Mauricio was very friendly, allowed us to take our time and to switch cars as well. Who answers the phone here? The guy was incredibly rude. I'm friendly to everyone and he didn't even say "hi" back to me. He literally asked me "what?" when I called instead of "how can I help you?" I had a Groupon and made an appointment with this dick- then a month later I call to reschedule and the same dude tells me my appointment doesn't exist and that i need to make a new one and pay for it. Why did he never put me down??? And why should I pay for his mistake??? FINALLY after I'm fed up with him my boyfriend calls for me and the worker pretends like he doesn't know what he's talking about (which he did as he finally gave us a new appointment and knew who I was lol) OH and to top it all off, my boyfriend ended up waiting nearly 2 hours after his appointment to finally get to drive, so he was late for work. Great customer Service the owner and all employees are great. I purchased the tickets on groupon went with my buddy. We both picked different cars. They let us know that the lamborghini would be a wait being that the brakes were getting hot from driving, i had no worries about this being that safety comes first. There was about 8-10 people ahead but they let us know that there was no wait for any other the other cars. The RED FF Ferrari was available for a $25 upgrade. My buddy drove the Lamborghini. He said it was great and could feel the power. I chose the R8 and drove with Juan Carlos who was a old F1 driver. He gave me a light go not he first lap instructing me to go slow on the corners but not to slow and as soon as your half way thru the turn punch on the gas. He asked if i wanted to radio and if i wanted to change to manual trans. He then turned on the SPORT mode and man did it make a difference. The normal driving seems like your car driving but in sport you feel the stiffness and power of the car tires very grippy and you slide when coming out the turn. i think i got to about 75mph before braking, being that i chose not to purchase the video i couldn't really estimate. You get to the turn so fast but its really fun and wanted to go again ASAP. It was hot and they offered everyone a water which was great. $90 to drive a 100k for 6 laps is the best ever being without the sale its 250 ouch. read more

Don't waste your time or money. Bought this as a Groupon for my husband's birthday as a surprise. Car options were a Porsche 911(husbands dream car), Lamborghini and Ferrari as printed on the Groupon. Also verified on the phone these were the cars. . Upon arrival, no Porsche to be seen! From the beginning, they try and pump you for more money. Extra laps, photos upgraded cars. We opted to pay $40 for an additional 10 laps. After the 6 initial apps that came with the Groupon, my husband got out of the car. We sat and waited 45 minutes to get back into the car for the additional 10 laps. They had forgot we just paid $40?? Really? After getting in the car for the additional 10 laps after lap 3 my husband was told to pull over and his drive was over!!!!! Instructor in the car was saying he was driving too fast. Mauricio does nothing but tell you to open it up, take the corners, drive the car like it should be driven. Obviously Mauricio up sells and the guy in the car with you does not allow anything Mauricio tells you. Very unprofessional and very disorganized. It was a very cold morning and so many people were upset due to them being behind. Left hand doesn't talk to the right hand. After leaving after lap 3, Mauricio told us to come bak. First, I'd like to say that Mauricio, the owner, is a really top-notch, classy guy! I'd also recommend John Paul to be your driving instructor. Check-in worker Steven (or Stephen?) was an extremely friendly employee that made me feel welcome. I was able to drive a Porsche 911 Turbo and the Lamborghini Gallardo. There was also a Ferrari 360 Modena there, but I've driven that car before at another company's event. I have to say that the Porsche is a much superior track car than the Gallardo. The Lambo is a much larger and more exotic car that is harder to place on the track. The Porsche's smaller dimensions fit you like a glove, while the Lambo's larger and more exotic exterior and interior are meant to wow and impress you. The power in the Porsche's lower half of the rev range is not too impressive, but once those turbos come on board at the magic RPM (approximately midway through the band), the acceleration is amazing and thrilling. Far more dramatic acceleration than the Gallardo! Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend this operation! read more
