I had my first painting experience at Demi Lauren Studio and it was honestly such a great time. I went in not knowing what to expect (and definitely not thinking I was "artistic"), but the whole vibe made it easy to relax and just enjoy the process. The atmosphere is welcoming, creative, and fun without feeling intimidating at all. The instructor explains everything step by step, so even if it's your first time painting like me, you'll walk out feeling proud of what you created. It's not just about painting it's about the experience. You get to unplug, laugh, and actually enjoy the moment. I highly recommend Demi Lauren Studio for a date night. It's something different from the usual dinner-and-movie routine, and it gives you time to connect while doing something creative together. Whether it's a first date or time with your partner, this spot makes it memorable. Definitely coming back again. read more

Demi Lauren Studios - Paint & Sip Near Me - Los Angeles, California

The paint and sip itself was fun- the studio was cute. The instructions were also easy to follow, so we had a great time as a group it was for our friend's bday. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. All my friends paid $60, but I was charged $71 when I arrived with no clear explanation and I didn't find out til later. Our class was advertised as 6:30-8:30, but we didn't start until around 7:10 because they were still cleaning and setting up. Yet by 8:20, we were already being rushed to wrap up, even though the late start was not our fault. The instructor had an attitude, wore airpods the entire time, and was stingy with paint whenever we needed more. She also expressed disappointment that we didn't book a private party, which apparently would've cost about double. There were no other customers besides our group of 12, so that comment was unnecessary and unprofessional. We still brought in 12 paying customers when otherwise there would've been no class. Between that, the different pricing, and being rushed despite starting late, no apologies, the whole thing honestly started to feel like a money grab. We still had fun because we were together, and I liked the concept, studio, and actual painting. I just wish the customer service matched. Overall, not worth the 30-minute drive when there are more affordable paint and sip options in West LA with friendlier and more professional service. read more

Such a vibe and I loved how the space was organized. There was plenty of room to paint and move around. Thank you to the instructor and her co partner for hosting such a great event! Had some hiccups when my wife and I booked our initial reservation for Valentine's Day weekend, but we got sick and had to reschedule about three more times due to errors on eventbrite and just being plain old forgetful, but our reservation was honored through out it all! Thank you so much Demi!!! Had a great time painting with my wife while Demi was instructing the class. Made small talk with fellow attendants, had some drinks too. Lit ass music was playing. Overall a great time! Wish class was bigger by about 2-6 more attendants but still a fun activity! read more

Came here for my bachelorette party and we had so much fun! Demi and Carrie were so fun and had great music playing. They were both super helpful and I loved that we were able to bring our own alcohol but they also had drinks we could buy. Parking was a little hard to find so try to carpool if you can. I think one other thing that would have been helpful is if it went a little bit slower. We were done in less than 2 hours and I think if we were able to take our time, we might have had better paintings. Overall we had a great time! read more

My sister gifted me with a paint and sip here for Mothers Day. We went last Thursday for thirsty Thursday, it was a really good time. We bought our own drinks but they had a nice bar with a variety of drinks should you need it. The receptionist/assistant Rene was super nice and helpful. Parking is located in the back, it's a little tricky as it's on a hill but still all good. We really enjoyed ourselves, the art boss was great she assisted me with my master piece, and the music was a vibe definitely will be back. read more

Loved it! 10/10 recommend, Demi is amazing, she was able to adjust the project based on on our skill level, and we were beginners lol

Cutest place! The owner and the assistant instructor were the coolest and sweetest ever! Me and my family had a great time! It was so clean and the supplies were of great quality. Music was bumping! I felt like I was home with family painting and chilling. We had so much fun. I highly recommend supporting this young black talented woman. Parking is typical LA parking so make sure to come early and find street parking down one of the sides streets. read more

Booked a glow in the dark paint class. They Cancelled class less than 2 hrs before the class started! Was looking forward to it cause it was my birthday plans! How you gonna cancel 2 hrs before!? At least give us a better heads up than 2 hrs. In all honestly I'm just glad I got my refund, certainly won't be booking again. read more

The paint n sip is a fun experience. Demi's a great artist and also a good guide. She reminded our group that our paintings don't have to mirror hers exactly, which is something most of us try (and fail) to do on paint n sips. I would definitely recommend doing the paint n sip at Demi Lauren Studios. read more

Spent a fabulous afternoon here. Demi was sweet, patient and encouraging, especially to a total art novice. I highly recommend.

Vibes were great and employees were super sweet. Loved the paintings on the wall as well - dope design inside. I would say the only thing stopping me from giving them a 5 star was that for the price, they didn't really teach technique and felt like i could've came up w the same painting at home. We pretty much copied what the instructor painted w minimal instruction read more

I attended a paint & sip class for a friend's birthday. The vibes were immaculate. Everyone had a great time. We danced, enjoyed drinks, made art and the owner even surprised our party with cupcakes! Was so excited to love this place, the Instagram looked cute, its minority owned, and a local DTLA small business. Checking all the boxes. So I book some tickets for my boyfriends 29th birthday. Come night of: We are rushing over to the place- people are moving slow because it's this crazy rain storm here in LA. We rush to find parking, but there is none, and get stuck in their back alley (which I've never seen a dirt alley like that in all of LA). We arrive at 7:45 on the dot (checked my phone because I knew about the grace period). The door is locked and we see a guy inside on his phone and 2 easels set up. We get excited because we thought we are getting a private lesson. The guy looks at us through the door and walks away (mind you it's still raining hard). He brings back a woman who is the instructor for the night. She apologizes and says there is a 15 min grace period, we say it's his birthday. And there was just no budging- just a satirically depressing way to end a birthday celebration. Locked out of our own night out, not even let inside to talk. Unfortunately- I think they lost my business. read more
