Jennifer made my super nervous self feel excellent and carefree throughout my entire shoot. I am a very self conscious person and she made sure to work around my inhibitions and get the best shots. She took well over 200 pictures and made the reveal process so easy for me with her patience. My session came with hair and makeup however hair wasn't needed as it can only be styled one way and make up I can't stand but gave her make up artist a chance. While I didn't like the make up (which was most likely solely my opinion because I don't ever wear make up) Jennifer made sure to tone down the make up so I was able to enjoy the pictures she took without seeing the make up I disliked. All in all I found Jennifer and her studio experience to be nothing short of amazing and I will absolutely be returning to do another shoot with her soon. 10/10 recommend you do the same!!

I found his website from a google search and I am glad I did. It was easy to pay for a session on-line. Then I printed a copy of his homepage and put it in a birthday card. The next day I got a call from Brian saying he had received payment for a family session. He then asked me what I was looking for. We decided on going to Look Park for the shoot as we like the outdoors; we got married there too so it was fitting. We made an appointment to meet at the park at noon. My family and I arrived at the garden house parking lot at 11:50. Brian drove into the lot at 11:52; he had already driven around the park to scope out some places that would make for good pictures. He was very punctual. We brought a few of our son's favorite stuffed toys and a blanket. Brian opened his trunk and surprised us with a set of balloons and a cute wooden chair for him to sit it. That was cool. We made the plan of parking by the visitors center and we would walk the loop of the park and take pictures as we go. You can see our photos on his website (http://proofs.halechannel.com/shade) Brian is very laid back and go with the flow kind of guy. We experienced no stress and no pressure with the photo shoot. We did not want a lot of posed pictures; we wanted more casual and laid back ones. Brian was very good at giving us that little bit of direction that made the photos look so much better. He listened to what we wanted and he helped us get exactly what we wanted. He seemed very knowledgeable about photography. I don't know much about photography, but he would explain to us the different lighting of the sun and knew what scenes made the best pictures. Brian was fun to work with, easy to communicate with (email, over the phone and in person) and he knew what he was doing. We really love his website. All the photos are available for everyone to see and you can buy all sorts of things with the pictures on them (prints of all sizes, coffee mugs, cards, shirts, stamps etc.) I highly recommend Brian for your photo needs.

It did not take long at all to get this box and subsequently the digital access to all of our pictures! We would recommend Brian again and again!

The location I chose for our shoot was a little difficult to shoot since there was a wedding going on, but they were able to make it work still and they got the shots I really wanted. I was worried that we wouldn't be able to shoot everything we wanted in our hour time frame since we had outfit changes and all, but we fortunately were able to get everything we wanted out of the shoot in the hour we had. We were beyond pleased with how the photos turned out! We received the photos two weeks from the shoot.

They were extremely easy to work with from the start, readily available, and very responsive. I contacted them through email via their website and they responded within the hour. Their website is very organized, thorough, and user-friendly. We worked with Florian for our family photo session. We happened to be in Maui for a family trip and wanted to take advantage of the beautiful beaches/scenery and also remember our time there. My husband and I have a 3-year-old girl and a 3 month old boy. As any parent can tell you, this mix can be a recipe for disaster. On the day of our session, my daughter was in a terrible mood and was very uncooperative. Florian kept his cool and remained kind and patient the whole time. He did everything he could to make my daughter feel comfortable. In the end, she eventually warmed up but my husband and I were discouraged and were praying for just one decent shot. With their many clients and busy schedule, BellEva had a quick turnaround time. They delivered our images within a week. When we clicked the link, we were absolutely blown away by the images. Florian is a true miracle worker and was able to capture around 100 shots. The images were all very beautiful and organic and definitely depicted a typical day in the life of parents with two young kids. He was able to capture the natural and raw emotions of our family. This speaks volumes to the amazing work and talent of BellaEva Photography. It was such a pleasure working with BellaEva. Our family is forever grateful for these memories that they were able to capture for us.

At the wedding while taking photos he honestly took very basic photos. Typical stand in a line and take the photo. We wanted to be present on our wedding day, not pulled away for an extended time to pose. We wanted to live it. And we trusted Erin to capture it as it unfolded. She did exactly that, and more. We started with an engagement shoot, which helped us get comfortable and let our guards down in front of the camera. Erin made it feel effortless. By the time the wedding arrived, it felt like she was a friend we could completely trust. Then, the week of, her assistant had to cancel last-minute due to illness. Erin handled it solo and absolutely crushed it. She was everywhere she needed to be, somehow without ever feeling in the way. Hustling hard and making magic. We've only seen the preview gallery so far, and we're already blown away. The photos are breathtaking. We look like ourselves, just... brighter. Like a classic romance or a still from a beautiful film. She took cues from our personal background, wedding theme, and venue, and took them to heart - our theatre background and vintage train station venue was begging for some old-fashioned, dramatic shots, but we still felt like ourselves. Not airbrushed, not overly styled, just real and joyful and full of life. Erin is professional, honest, talented, flexible, and kind. She kept us grounded when things got chaotic. She told us when the light was just right. She knew when to step in and when to disappear into the background. We can't imagine anyone else capturing our day. Erin, thank you. You gave us the gift of remembering it all exactly how it felt. You're incredible!

What an amazing experience! I was really nervous about getting photos taken for an upcoming book…read morecover and professional headshots. I'm not what you would call a "girlie girl," so the idea of picking out outfits and posing for photos was completely new and a bit scary for me. We started with a phone call and Michael did a great job of walking me through outfit choices and suggestions. The day of, I met him at his studio. He was absolutely delightful. Professional, respectful, funny, calming, and flattering, the perfect combination to calm you down and make you feel good about yourself. He knew exactly what to say to help me relax and get the shot. What I loved most was the process. Due to the way the studio is set up, we could take a series of photos, then go and sit down and take a look at the photos. This allowed for us to discuss lighting, colors, and positioning. Before taking another series. After I choose the photos I was happy with, Michael "finalized them" with some minor edits and emailed me the final photos. Even then he was willing to make some changes. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Something I initially dreaded turned into an amazing and even fun time. I highly recommend Michael and will definitely return for future photography needs.

It was time for me to get some corporate headshots and my employer was not about to spend any money in hiring a professional for me. I decided I owed it to myself to put my best face forward. I searched for portrait photographers with a studio in Springfield, and Michael Epaul came up. First, I will say, that this trend of photographers not having a studio baffles me. I would never consider someone a professional if they did not have a professional work space! That being said, Michael Epaul Photography has a gorgeous, cozy studio, so you don't have to worry about a setting. For the ladies, or anyone interested, hair & makeup can be added to your session. This worked out well because it took the pressure off me of having to arrive at the studio in perfect condition. And then the headshots began. From start to finish, the process was streamlined. Prompt communication via text and/or email worked very well. I was given about 20 pictures to choose from; I picked one and was given 2 versions of it. And don't tell anyone, but....Michael was able to ahem....touch up things about me in a natural way (aka he took away the 10 lbs the camera adds). Overall, very satisfied with this portrait session and look forward to doing business with this photographer in the future. NOTE: on site parking, accepts credit cards, and photographer does more than just portraits (weddings mitzvahs and more!)
