If you haven't seen my review it was almost 2 years ago on this same page. The Edge over this period of time actually improved impressively. I have never left The Edge. For no extra charge. They even painted my apartment. If this place keeps working at it. They will be GREAT. No lie. They gotta get rid of the hideous Volleyball Court. Maybe get some of the apartments a REALLY strong deep clean. Remove Single Digits from their internet provider plan or whatever (Yes the WiFi) is still horrifically bad. With Ethernet is manageable, but the Ethernet ports in the rooms don't work, so you have to route it through the Appartement to the actual box and it's just annoying. But the thing that you have to realize about being at the Edge is that you're a STUDENT. You aren't here to live luxury. You're here to better yourself. Perfect place to be humbled with the basic necessities. That's why I own a 3D Animation studio now, and I couldn't have done it without my shitty WiFi. We complained several times and had to wait three hours for someone to come clean before my son could even move his belongings in. Despite all of this, my son and I cleaned the apartment thoroughly before leaving it, and now you are charging him $40 for stains in the shower that were already there and clearly caused by years of use. For more than $1,000 a month, these conditions are completely unacceptable. I honestly cannot understand how anyone could rate these apartments as a "Gold" or #1 university housing option. Whoever placed these apartments in the #1 Gold category must either be completely out of touch with reality or have made an extremely poor and irresponsible judgment. I called the office more than 20 times trying to get an answer. Most calls went unanswered, and the few times I did reach someone, I was unable to get a clear explanation of what was happening. I also did not receive an itemized accounting or interim accounting within the first 30 days after moving out. What is especially frustrating is that I did not see meaningful cooperation or movement on this issue until I told management that I was prepared to file a small-claims case to recover the deposit. After that, I was told in writing that my move-out had been processed, that my refund was being issued, and that corporate had been contacted to "expedite" the check through standard business mail. More than 10 days later, I still had not received it. Communication has also been unnecessarily confusing. The property currently has a notice posted telling residents to email management at mgr@riverwalkapts.com because the office phone is not working. However, my email correspondence with management has been through mgr@riverswalkapts.com. Those are two different email domains. When you already have a nonworking office phone, posting contact information that does not match the address management has actually been using only makes it harder for residents and former residents to know how they are supposed to contact anyone. The fact that this is all over a $200 security deposit makes the situation even more frustrating. A former tenant should not have to make 20+ phone calls, send repeated emails, deal with inconsistent contact information, research their legal options, and prepare to file in small claims court just to get a routine security deposit handled. This situation is still ongoing. I cannot say whether other former tenants have experienced the same issue, but based on my experience, I strongly recommend that anyone living here document everything in writing, save copies of all correspondence, keep records of their move-out, and verify exactly where any security-deposit communication is being sent. Based on how this has been handled, I cannot recommend this property.

Don't live here unless you drive a smart car or something incredibly small because there are not enough spaces offered and a majority of them are for compact cars, now if you have a compact car then go for it but if you don't and even come close to touching the line the have LMS parking, another terrible business, boot your car and pay $180 even if you're a loyal customer who has been paying $40 to park there a month for four years. and if that happens and you try to get it fixed they'll tell you too bad there's nothing they can do.
