I got a haircut with layers ＄50 and eyebrow threading ＄15. mentioning cuz…read moreprices arent posted anywhere. its alot more than i usually spend on a cut but i havent had a cut in over 6 months and it started out pretty damaged. that said my hair looks alot better now. i usuay get layers and this is my only complaint is the combing was a little rough for my hairtype, which breaks easily, she didnt tug painfully like some other hairdressers do when theyre combing out tangles. she does try to upsell alot, if that bothers you or you dont know how to say no firmly, maybe its not the salon for you. it didn't bother me. some have mentioned she charges more if she thinks you make a lot then goes down if you say no, this is literally just bargaining. i took that to be a cultural difference, the prices seem to be negotiable or you can bargain. if you negotiate and they change the price you agreed on thats a different story. personally that didnt happen to me. the threading was good. ive only done waxing before so cant comment on the technique. its better result than most of the waxes ive had, and unlike with waxes youre not red all over after. it didnt really hurt, she did a good job shaping the brows considering my hair was really sparse in some areas. she was really nice, i had good conversation with her even though im usually the type to kinda sit quietly when i get my hair done. its a little expensive for what it is and thats the only reason its not 5 stars. but i can sympathize that salons really need the money right now.

Fariba tried to upsell me on a conditioning treatment because my hair was very dry. I knew she was wrong because my hair is very oily but I let her go on. The treatment was $380 because my hair was very long. I told her it's too expensive. I wanted a regular shampoo and flat iron. She goes on posturing me about where I am was from, what I do for a living, if I bought a house, etc. I think this is the part where she decides what to charge you. I'm not saying Fariba is bad but it was shady that she tried to charge me $75 for a shampoo, chair dry, and flat iron. I told her-- no way. You charged me $40 last time and you didn't even condition twice. I think she tried to pull a fast one on me. So she said $50. I paid her $60 to be nice. Oh and she tried to say her credit card machine wasn't working and only accepted cash------ after my hair was done. Needless to say, I won't be back. I wanted to give business to this small business but she clearly tried to take advantage.

Even after they "fixed" it, it wasn't quite right, even though it was an improvement from the original hack job they did the first time. So, I was very relieved when the nice lady at Designer Cuts was able to fix it and cut it correctly, with very little effort. I was beginning to think my hair would never be quite right again, after the stylists at Great Clips made my simple A-line cut seem like some sort of extremely difficult task. Thank goodness the people at Designer Cuts actually know what they're doing. To be honest, places like Vamp Salon and The Secret Garden are a bit out of my budget range, considering that with my specific cut, I have to have my hair trimmed frequently. So 45-50 bucks every time is a bit steep. It's nice to know that there's a local place that cuts hair exceptionally well, but doesn't come with a hefty price tag.

I came in to get my hair done and I left with hair I did not want, as well as damaged hair. I made the mistake of paying her but I thought since she was always kind to me, I could go to her about the issue later. I was wrong. She said the only solution is she can put toner but after I found damages in my hair, I just wanted a refund. (Where she bleached to make highlights, the strands are ripped from damages). She then accuses me of cutting my own hair just for a refund because they use the "best" products so it's not possible for my hair to be damaged. I sent her proof, pictures from a video I took while I was still in the parking lot with the day and time. (You can also see the dumpster behind me, that is by the salon). Not to mention you can see the bottom was cut professionally because it's even and not choppy, just shorter. The high light pieces are also ripped and not cut.. After I sent her the proof she never responded. I went to talk to the owner and she was professional but can't do much since they make their own money. I'm glad the owner also saw my hair and agreed it wasn't cut. I even called Ines while I was with the owner and it went straight to voicemail. I still haven't heard from her since I sent her the proof. Ines is not professional, she will blame you for her mistakes instead of taking accountability. I'm not just disappointed on how she did my hair but I'm disappointed at her.
