The state inspection appointment took over 2 hours. There was no communication from the inspector, then they failed my car for a potential electrical issue which has not been flagged in previous service visits or inspections. In order to pass I would have needed to pay the $195 diagnostic fee which they didn't even have time to do the same day because the appointment took so long. So now I have a rejection sticker and will need to schedule another appointment to resolve. Very disappointed. Similar situation with another PFL vehicle that I own, this was the only shop for oil changes and inspections then my engine failed and it was never flagged in-spite of my documented concerns for a year prior that my car was burning through oil. It was always "not a concern" until they ran a compression test and determined my pistons were failing. Their solution was a new engine for $17,000 or used for $9,000. I will never come here again. Sad because I have owned3 VWs and the service over the last 3 years does not compare to the service I used to receive. I bought 2 more VWs because of the amazing service team- I always knew that I could count on honesty and a quality repair. Things have not been the same since. I bought nissan in 2 years ago. When I was negotiating the price on a 1976 VW beetle that was being sold at Loyalty Volkswagon in Chester Va I was told I could take it for 7500 as is or 10,000 and you guys would fix it. I negotiated that price to $9000 with the promise from the dealership to fix the vehicle. Upon signing all of the documents, the beetle was taken to the shop of their choice, and it was there for three weeks. I never had one single call from anyone to explain to me where my car was what was being done to it and when I would receive it in those three weeks. I had to write an email and make multiple phone calls just to get any information. At first I was told the carburetor was replaced and then they had to replace a gas tank and then they had to replace brakes , and then, when it came back to the dealership after three weeks, the signals didn't work. I know at that time that someone from the dealership, I think it was Joe, drove the vehicle. I am sure that he saw some of the broken issues, which were safety issues, that needed to be repaired to make the car safe to drive. When the car was returned after having the signals repaired, I was told they wanted to make sure the car was safe to drive and hence that's why it was sent back. When I drove this car home, there were so many safety issues that I saw that it was very scary to drive home. When I called Joe and told him about all of the safety issues that needed to be repaired he told me that they would make the repairs. After bringing the car back to the dealership to have those safety issues repaired I was then told that they had never intended on fixing this vehicle, and that they would give me my money back. I was obviously lied to because I was told this car was going to be fixed so it was safe for me to drive. I really wanted this vehicle and only wanted it to be safe to drive. They told me a bold faced lie, and I believed them. Should have never trusted the SLEAZY car salespeople but I did. I I writing this review to hopefully save someone else from dealing with these people. Do yourself a favor and buy your vehicle from CARVANA. It is the most effortless experience you will ever have buying a vehicle. You will be able to drive it for 7 days before you buy it. I will never again go to a dealership to buy a vehicle and especially not any Loyalty dealerships. read more

Loyalty VW is now charging a 3% service charge on credit card payments at the service department, which they call a pay share amount. The only problem is that there is no sharing. It is bad enough they charge too much now and want to pass the cc fee on. I understand a small business, not a car group. From now on I will get the the free oil changes, free state inspections, and warranty work. Everything else is somewhere else. read more

Had a CEL come on during an extended trip. Made an appointment and got in same day with Loyalty VW and they were able to diagnose the problem immediately (and tell me it was under warranty). The part is back ordered, however, the service rep, Rob, was able to get it ordered & waitlisted, all while communicating this from the get go so I knew what to expect. Hands down the most communicative, informative and friendly dealership service dept. I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Will definitely be buying all of my vehicles and getting service from here in the future. A lot of the time these warranty covered issues get kicked to the side since the dealership has to eat the cost, but this was the complete opposite here. I had leased a VW from West Broad VW and had a TERRIBLE experience. I loved my car and was interested in another VW so started looking for a new car at Loyalty VW per a few recommendations. We met our sales man at the door named DA. He was so kind, not pushy, and very helpful. We decided to see what it would be to buy my future car and after negotiating with Greg (classic car dealer money guy.. he was fine..) we ended up buying. We worked with Dylan to sign all the papers and he was very nice and seemed very honest and upfront when it came to what we should/ shouldn't add to the car payments (ie more warranties etc). I purchased a used car from Loyalty and the sales person Taz was most helpful and professional. He deserves the highest rating and should be given a position of greater responsibility. I only rated 4 stars however because of the sales manager who nearly lost my business with his unreasonable negotiating. I walked out, not as a ploy to get what I wanted, but because I was not willing to accept what I felt was an unacceptable offer. Taz saved the day and was the only reason the deal was consummated. On a subsequent call for assistance re temp tags Taz once again showed what an outstanding asset he is to this dealership and promptly took care of the issue. Ask for Taz! read more

Poor customer service. Cold coffee and I would have to wait for my vehicle to be fixed for at least 2 hours. Was told that coffee was being made. It never got done but that's not really the issue we have been here before and the service is subpar. I checked in and was told that I would be explained what was going to be done on my car. No one ever returned with any explanation. I needed my phone to be charged the charge station is not working and that is been happening since last time I was here a month ago. Very unprofessional staff and really don't care about the customer. And to top it off I tried to get a drink and a snack from the vending machines with no price on the items and no way to know if you will get change if yo insert money. I should have never purchased a vehicle from these poor excuse of a dealership. They redeemed themselves by getting me a rental so thank goodness for that. read more
