Had Loyalty for one season. The technician (who could have been the owners son), made 2 passes in my backyard and it's 1/4 an acre. I literally watched him do 2 passes and load his truck and leave. Over treated my yard. Burnt my yard to the point I could see the path of appreciation. Called and spoke to Karen. Sent photos pictures of the damage. A few days later got a call from someone who totally made excuses and didn't take ownership of the problem. A technician came out to look at the damage. After viewing the damage he told me he would recommend seeding. Never had any communication after that day. This company is not accountable for there mistakes. A total train wreck. Have been using this company for several years. Their service has started to decline substantially. Contacted their customer service to complain but they showed no interest in listening. They also appear to have different technicians showing up. The prior folks who were quite knowledgeable appear to no longer work for the company and the newer technicians are either not knowledgeable or are in a rush to complete their job as captured on my ring video. read more

I started with Loyalty Lawn care last year. Did great . I signed up for 7 lawn treatments a year. This year they are charging me DOUBLE for a nutsedge service I never signed up for. When I called 4 times they said the would get back to me but never did. Today they got back to me after suspending my account for not paying the nutsedge bill. Karen told me some guy remembers last year I told him i wanted nutsedge (this is a lie) and I should pay the bill. This is my second year using Loyalty Lawn Care for the 7 lawn treatment service. A few years ago, our neighborhood had a horrible fungus infestation that killed most of our front and backyard grass, allowed weeds to overrun our yard, and caused general unpleasantness in our lawn. I hated it because it started looking brown in many spots and ugly so after coming to the conclusion that our lawn will never be a DIY project for us, I decided to contact several places to get an estimate and general information regarding what should be done to my lawn. Loyalty was the third bidder and not the cheapest but the guy they sent seemed very knowledgeable, was very pleasant to talk to and gave me the most detailed estimate 5 minutes after speaking with me. Last year was my first year with the service which ended with an aeration and overseeding in the fall. Before the process started, we were informed about the watering requirements and when water our lawn. This year, my grass are actually looking greener and healthier. I decided to keep the service to maintain a nice looking lawn but also, I'd like to reinforce the progress by getting another aeration and overseeding this coming fall. As far as the service goes, I really appreciate the fact that their technicians will call the day before to inform me of their timeline, what to expect during a treatment, and some warnings I need to know about the treatment since I have a pup. They are very responsive when I have issues such as for billing and renewing my service and I truly appreciate how they make sure to remember not to knock at our door when they are done as I have previously informed them that my husband works the evening shift. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service. They are quite affordable and I do see the improvement they have brought to my front and back yard. I have been a customer for 2 years but no more after today. A technician was out today, one thing my camera did show him on our lawn but only on one side of my houses. My neighbor I share a side that LL services. They always seemed treat that side of my yard but never the opposite side unless I am home to watch them which has only been twice in 2 years. As I spoke to the office, she said that the technician did the job and the pellets are little and black, I explained to her the ones in the front and side I share with my neighbor are white and she proceeded to say oh yah they are mixed black and white. I explained to her there was no black or white on the side I have to call them about every time they do a treatment. This is not the first time I have had problems with this company so this was the last straw and I cancelled the service. The company is not "Loyal" to a long-time customers. I've been a Loyalty Lawn Care Customer and a big fan of theirs for many years. But since the business was sold to a large company its customer service has slipped. When you can call a member of management or the owner of a private business it makes a big difference in how you are treated. I discover this, this week when I called in to inform them their recent weed kill application had no effect on the weeds. I called before my application was due and asked that they apply a Nutsedge weed kill treatment. It was not mentioned in their statement nor did the Nutsedge grass die. Under the old ownership, I would have had a follow-up visit within 24-48 hrs. But there must be new policies in place to guard against sending a person out to FIX the problem. I was told I had to wait 8-12 days? It may be a labor shortage, cost of gas, or just a cost-saving program but it is not the same experience I have come to know and appreciate over my many years with Loyalty. If family attitude means something then Loyalty Lawn & landscaping has the right attitude and empathy. I was walking in Stoneybrook Arbor Greens when I spotted Loyalty workers on the job. Moving from parking lot to sidewalk I tripped and fell. Two workers came over to lift me up ( I had face,arm and leg cuts). One worker insisted he walk with me back to my condo ( 2 1/2 blocks). Once there he insisted that I call for help . He came in and took over my phone and talked to my daughter who said '20 mins, to arrive'. Adam ,( only knew 1st name) went next door and my neighbor came over to do 1st aid. Daughter took me to ER and after cleaning and bandages ( no broken bones) I came home.I called to Loyalty's owner to get contact info on Adam. Well he said Adam Adkinson was his son and the other helper was also his son. That gesture by Adam tells a lot of the positive makeup of the Adkinson's including their father who owns Loyalty. Loyalty lawn care is dishonest. When I complained to Jody the manager that the tech Ryan had not service my entire yard she said she believed him. My Ring security door bell showed he had not sprayed the . Because I have captured othe technicians only spraying portions of my 3/4 acre land I request they ring my bell to let me know that they have arrive. Captured Ryan rang my bell. I did not answer. He assumed I was not home. He picked up the hose and went to the back yard and sprayed ONLY the small portion in front of the retaining wall THEN LEFT. My backyard security camera malfunction however, but I watched Ryan as he ONLY sprayed the small area. After at least 15 years with Loyalty I took my business to another Lawn service. As the manager Jody was not professional nor tried to work with me. If you have security camera please review to see if Ryan or other technicians are really servicing your entire yard. read more

I once upon a time used tru green & felt like I wasn't being heard & was ultimately paying for things I didn't really care about or need. I had really great yard of grass & just wanted to maintain what was already there. I eventually found loyalty lawn. I explained what I was looking for & was told they were a smaller business & offered more personalized services. Here I am a little over a year later with LL & I am devastated by what I am looking at. I was told I had a fungus. They applied fungicide but it continued to die in mass amounts. It wasn't until I applied one myself that it stopped spreading. I understand some things are out of one's control. But I suppose I would be less upset if it had happened under my care only. With $900 in sod repairs, I sadly will not be using Loyalty Lawn going further. I have since done quite a bit of my own research & will go forward tending to my lawn on my own. read more

I have been a customer for 3 years but no more after today. A technician said he applied weed killer on our lawn and I questioned him on it as there were things that did not add up. For one thing my Ring camera did not show him on our lawn. And the other thing was that he did not put the sign in our yard indicating that an application had been done. When I told him these two things he kept saying check your camera and I kept saying I was looking at it right now and he was not on it. And then he said he did put the sign up and "maybe it blew away and it didn't matter if I did not have a sign as I paid for the application not the sign". I asked him where he put the sign and he told me between my house and my neighbors house. In order to do that he would of had to put the sign in concrete as driveways separate out yards. My husband went out to try and find the sign and found it between two houses... my neighbor's house and the house next to hers. I took a photo of the sign in relation to my house which showed he was at the wrong house and sent it to the company. As I spoke to Jody, at the office, she kept saying that the technician told her he did the job and I told her he did not. I wanted to talk to a manager and she said she would send the manager out to my house in 3 weeks to see if the weeds were dead and if they were then the tech did the application and if not they would respray. As I did not have any weeds I told her this was not a solution. I kept asking her if the email I had sent her had made it into her inbox and she said no. She did not seem to care that I had sent the email with the photo. I can understand a company standing up for their workers but for her not to send the tech back out to see exactly which yard he sprayed, which we asked for numerous times, was not an example of good customer service. This is not the first time I have had problems with this company so this was the last straw and I cancelled the service. Finally about 2 hours later the technical came to our house and apologized and owned up to the fact, which we already knew, that he sprayed the wrong yard. I think they finally looked at the photo I sent them. He was very contrite and asked us not to blame the company as they were standing up for him and he did not want the company to lose our account. I don't understand what they thought our end game was....for what reason would we lie about this? The company was not "Loyal" to a long time customer. Loyalty has always done an excellent job of doing everything we've engaged them for. Very easy to work with. Reliable. Today, the team went the extra mile. We had our front mulch replaced with rock. Well I had high hopes for this company based on the first meeting I had with the salesperson. Unfortunately switching to Loyalty from my previous company was a HUGE mistake. I've lived in my house for 13 years and thought I'd give a new company a try to save some money. They were more reasonable than the company I was using. Now I know why. My lawn is awful. I NEVER had weeds before short of some nutsedge that would come up but my previous company would take care of it. Now my lawn is covered in weeds. It's so awful I don't know how long it will take to get my lawn back to the way it was. I paid for the season in advance so I am stuck with this company. I have called multiple times to complain and they send someone out to spray the weeds but I've seen no changes whatsoever. It just keeps getting worse. I'm so angry I switched to Loyalty. We have been using this company for several years now and are always happy with the service. The consistently call ahead to let us know when they are coming out to treat our lawn. They make suggestions about needed services but are never pushy and always informative. Recently we requested aeration and overseeding and the rain made it difficult to schedule. Each time they had scheduled, they came to our house to check and see if they could perform the service (even though they probably KNEW the groupd was too wet). They called to let us know why they could not do the work. When the ground was finally dry enough for some of the work but too dangerous for the hilly portion of our lawn, they carefully explained the options and performed exactly what was requested. read more

I called Loyalty about a maintenance program for my yard. They came out March 4th and said I have a solid yard with a good foundation but recommended I start mole repellant treatments because they noticed some mole activity. Their mole repellant treatments are at a cost of $45.00 per treatment. I was told I would have positive results after 2 treatments. After 4 months and 4 treatments yard is almost totally destroyed with new mole holes coming in at 1-3 per day!!!! I called and spoke with one of two owners about my results a couple of weeks ago and sent her a video of my yard (what's left of it). After a few days with NO response from her I called again and spoke with the co-owner and explained the situation to him. He also requested video. He said they had changed suppliers of their mole repellant and had been receiving complaints similar to mine. He promised to get back to me after reviewing and he would address the problem. That was last week, still no response from either owner. Their focus seem to lean towards finding new customers vs building long term satisfied customers.
