I actually went to another shop to get my nose pierced the first time and did not have a good experience. After reading reviews about the shop and about the piercers, I decided to give this place a try. I originally wanted to see Kat, but she was out of time during the time I came into the shop and saw Abbey instead. I HIGHLY recommend Abbey. She was very sweet and answered absolutely all my questions I had about aftercare, placement, jewelry, etc. She was patient with me and helped me pick the best spot for my piercing and I love it!! She made me feel relaxed and comfortable during the whole process. I definitely recommend Abbey to get any piercing done. She is cleanly and the most down yo earth person I've ever met. (:

The vibe of the lady piercing us was very condescending. She then proceeded to pierce both of us with Jewlery that was tarnishing the next morning. His ears got so infected that he now has scar tissue and most likely can't get them done again. She did not clamp the belly which I heard is supposed to be done, she gave me too short of a jewlery piece that my stomach didn't have space to swell to heal that it started to get infected within 4 days. The jewlery was tarnishing by the 3rd day. I was told to clean with antibacterial soap and it would never get infected or reject. After about a week and half later I called to see if they could give me a better piece of jewlery because mine was tarnishing. They told me I would have to buy another piece of jewlery and pay for service and didn't seem concerned as to what they did. I then went to the lucky duck shop in Pasadena where they took me in right before they closed and only charged me 10$ for a new piece of Jewlery. Bad experience here at Gypsy rose

When he pierced my septum, it took about ten seconds long enough for him to say "oops" while the needle was still going through. That made me really uncomfortable. He didn't check my anatomy or even feel for my sweet spot he just clamped it and pushed the needle through. I'm honestly lucky my cartilage wasn't pierced, since he didn't check. From what I've learned, a septum piercing should never take that long, and the placement should always be checked first.
