Last time I ordered an item in a medium & was emailed an abrupt refund notification (even though the website said "in stock"). I reached out a couple of times about maybe getting a large instead & no one ever responded. Baffling. Recently I gave it another shot (though because of my diminished confidence I ordered twice as many items this time from BN Bookstore simultaneously since they promote that "satisfaction is our goal"). I relied on a description on the CC website that a sweatshirt was 100% cotton. Not a big fan of 50-50 (don't like the feel or the static) & never would have ordered one if it had been accurately described. I don't know what went wrong this time but it arrived in 50-50 material. Very disappointing, but whatever, I did still like the design. Tweeted about the unfortunate mislabeling snafu and yet again received no response or even the slightest acknowledgment. Deja vu. Just a little attention and culpability would have been nice, but I think I'm done here. And kinda Bummed out also. I liked having a creative alternative as a choice, but what good is it if customer respect & fulfillment is lacking.

Though the selections are vast, I will say that the Greek Jackets are not well-crafted, they stitch the patches over the pocket, which don't allow you use of both pockets. In regards to pricing, I do usually walk out spending a pretty penny $$$.

My fellow Veterans, Academy Sports + Outdoors no longer…read moreaccepts a Military ID, VA ID, or your drivers license with the veteran designation as proof of military service for their military discount. You have to register through Academy with "ID Me" to obtain a discount. I have an ID Me account that I had to ser up through the VA, but that account does not work at Academy for some reason. When I tried to register through the QR code displayed at the register, the website told me that they could not verify me and that I did not have an account. The cashier here just told me that allot of veterans are not getting their discount because of this, but it is now Academy's policy to verify through the website. They just lost my business.

I went to the Academy Store in Gretna, LA on Sunday September 3, 2023. My receipt is time stamped…read more3:45. The cashier name is not on the receipt. If my memory serves me correctly I was at cashier number three. I went to check out. As I approached the cashier. She was laughing with her colleague next to her. Once I got to the counter I gave her a minute to gather herself. She scanned my item but continued to laugh. I had to ask her to please finish checking me out and i had to ask her what is my total. She said the total but I did not hear her since I am hard of hearing. I have a hearing disability. Therefore I had to ask her again. She became irate that I asked her again and said I told you it was 21.83. I gave her my money and told her she did not have to be rude and ugly to me. She put the money on the counter and stormed off. Another person had to finish the sale. I am completely disturb that the cashier went off on me. I was polite and tried to give her a minute to gather herself. I also was treated poorly by the changing room attendant. After trying on a pair of pants, I put them on the table like I was suppose to do. She asked very ugly "What you don't want these." She made me feel like I did something wrong.
