I have had Kaiser and other HMO's and if I got 15 min with the Doctor I was lucky. When I see Doctor Hedman I get an hour to an hour and half. I could ask for better care and attention from his whole office. If your lucky enough to have Dr Lichti or Dr Brown you'll get the same great care. These are Doctors who really care.

Heres our timeline: 7:05 leave practice and check in online 7:24 arrival at Sutter Urgent Care 7:30 taken to a room 7:50 sent next door for X-rays 8:05 done with X-rays and pulling out of parking lot I PROMISE this was sooo fast We did not get x-ray results until the next day, but the physician was upfront about that. The front desk staff was super kind with the proximity to our home the ease of check-in, appointment availability. I couldn't be more thrilled! By the way, my boy is 100% fine. So glad I took him in just to be safe and I'm sure when that deductible comes in the mail. I'll be rethinking it but for now I'm a happy mama.

She also has the worst MA (Ashley) who does not apply the numbing cream properly, so the procedure is very painful. It gets even better, if you complain about the pain, Sanaz will blame YOU! And call you weak! I also used to get Botox from her. Watch out!! She will run up the bill on you so quick! And she shoves the needle all the way in on your chin area when no other nurse or doctor does that. They will usually go about half way.. but Sanaz goes all the way! She's sick! I suspect that Sanaz is a true sadistic weirdo who enjoys sticking needles in people! There's something wrong with her. Worst experience I've ever had with an injector. I highly recommend you go somewhere else. She needs to be investigated! Lastly, the majority of the MA's there are pretty rude and sloppy. Always sending things to the wrong pharmacy, etc, etc.

The intake personnel all seem tired, curt, beaten down by constant stress. No one smiles, none want to talk beyond the required information gathering. Triage into the medical side was somewhat better. The nursing assistants, Emergency department techs were more engaged. I did not see a Registered Nurse. Everyone was efficient, getting the job done with minimal fuss. The doctor saw me after a 15 minute wait. For an emergency department that is record fast time. He was cheerful, competent, helpful and was willing to have a converstion rather than dictate orders. We cooperatively agreed on a care plan. (It helped that I have a Master's degree in Public Health). My total time for the visit was 90 minutes. Got the medications I needed. 36 hours later I am starting to recover, though I still feel kind'a crappy (Pun intended).
