I have had Kaiser and other HMO's and if I got 15 min with the Doctor I was lucky. When I see Doctor Hedman I get an hour to an hour and half. I could ask for better care and attention from his whole office. If your lucky enough to have Dr Lichti or Dr Brown you'll get the same great care. These are Doctors who really care.

Triage into the medical side was somewhat better. The nursing assistants, Emergency department techs were more engaged. I did not see a Registered Nurse. Everyone was efficient, getting the job done with minimal fuss. The doctor saw me after a 15 minute wait. For an emergency department that is record fast time. He was cheerful, competent, helpful and was willing to have a converstion rather than dictate orders. We cooperatively agreed on a care plan. (It helped that I have a Master's degree in Public Health). My total time for the visit was 90 minutes. This year when I changed my insurance instead of trying to get a prior off going to my last doctor, I wanted to come here where I was highly recommended to I was so scared I had anxiety I was definitely unsure and worried how it would go. Right from the start the gal at the front desk was super nice. Kind explained where I needed to sign explained what was what took copies of my ID and insurance card. The next person I dealt with was the nurse she went and got my weight asked me a lot of questions went over my medications, even though I had filled things out online she thoroughly went through things which I really applaud them for doing as sometimes we as people can forget something. I have been in chronic pain. I can't express to you how bad it has been. I have been able to get some relief from getting the procedure done that I get. I was worried that maybe the general anesthesia wouldn't work however, all of the staff listened to me made me feel better about it. Let me joke with them. I am not sure how long the entire process took but it felt like minutes and here. I am praying that how I am feeling last a while for the first time in over 7+ years. I have absolutely no back pain right now. I don't know if that'll change in the morning. I would be happy with a pain level of five even as I've been dealing with a pain level of 10 for quite some time. The doctor came and introduced himself.
