In the beginning is hard to find the right person specially when I have gone through some trauma or someone in some other place, burnt me a little bit through the grinding process.. Unfortunately, my original guy left, but I use the two best ones in my opinion Lu and Anna#2 Mickey has done my daughter's nails and he's also good They are gentle and especially Anna knows perfect English and she's really patient and gentle. The only thing I do not like so much is that is pretty warm most of the time. But they recently upgraded all the massage chairs and they gave it a nice lift appearance. Try this again !! Technician tried to GRAB me. Completely DISGUSTING, UNPROFESSIONAL and DIRTY. I was kept waiting for over three hours, during which time I was switched between two different technicians because no one was capable of doing a chrome service. At one point I suggested if the service was too advanced I would rather keep it simple due to time. Despite remaining patient and respectful the entire time, the situation escalated unnecessarily. When I decided to leave, I clearly stated that I was willing to pay for the work already done, which at that point was limited to the polish being drilled off. Instead of allowing me to pay and leave, a staff member attempted to physically grab my arm to cut MY OWN NAILS without my consent. She said I had to pay for a full service when I was walking out of there with drilled nails. This behavior was inappropriate, unprofessional, and crossed a serious boundary. Woman was shaking in anger when I was the one that should have been angry. This was not my first negative experience here. On a previous visit, a client was injured on the premises and staff showed no concern, instead attempting to shift blame onto the individual. During my visit today, another customer arrived visibly upset, complaining about being improperly booked by a staff member named Sophia - clearly showing a pattern of disorganization and poor management. All signs to never come back, this place will be closed down very shortly I can gaurantee you that. Chubby angry woman realized she was in the wrong and brushed me away to leave. No customer should ever be touched, intimidated, or treated with such disrespect - especially when simply trying to pay and exit. I've never seen a salon keep the nail-drying spray behind the counter. When I asked to use it, she barely sprayed it and didn't even get all my nails. On top of that, the nail dryer wasn't blowing at all. read more

Out of curiosity I walked in to Lox Nails about 215 and was asked to come back at 330 since everyone was currently working with a client. Understandable since I didn't have an appointment and didn't call ahead. I returned at the appointed time and Danny was my nail tech. He was very gentle with my hands and very efficient with his work. We had to cut my natural nails and do tips because mine are so thin, when he cut the tips to size they were perfect! I'm also not one for small talk and he didn't make me feel like I had to conversate just to do it. I've been to this nail salon twice. The first time i had a wonderful experience, my cuticles were cut and they showed great nail care prior to applying gel to my nails. It came out nicely & lasted a good time before i peeled it off. The second time visiting i got nexgen. i was a little surprised as she did not do any cuticle care prior to applying the nexgen nails, but she was very careful and precise to make sure my nails came out beautifully. she was willing to listen to my suggestions and the nails came out great! The past few times I visited, Jenny was my nail tech, and she did a great job. This afternoon I had Nick, and he was absolutely terrible. Not only did he do a terrible job filling and shaping my nails, he was rude, condescending, and difficult to communicate with. After he rolled his eyes at me, threw my hands back at me, and mocked me, I went to pay, and told the owner I would not come back to that nail salon. Kim was excellent. Her attention to detail is extraordinary. I normally wear "Princess Rules" pink by Opi. Since they were out of my shade, Kim came up with a BRILLIANT alternative that looks so close to my normal favorite shade of pink. $30.00 for a manicure and I gave Kim a $10.00 tip for her color matching skills!!! So friendly. And they do the best nails. I've had other nail salons in the area really mess up my dip powder manicure, but I always come back here because I know that they will always do a great job. My dip is never lumpy, never cracks, and always stays shiny until I take them off. They also always make my short nails the perfect shape that elongates the look of my hands and nails. This place is always busy (for good reason) so make sure you call ahead and make an appointment!!!! And when you call tell them exactly what you need (NexGen, gel, plain manicure) because they will make sure the right person is doing your nails! Went to take my sister to get her nails done before school starts. She just asked for simple short white nails, clean and easy, which there was no problem with. However, the guy doing the nails had the worst attitude. It was the same guy to stands outside smoking, so that was lovely to smell too. Told my sister rudely ( who's 12 by the way) that she needed to go back and "dry her hands better". My sister went over to dry her hands better, but then this "professional" shouted from across the room " there's no need to stand there all day!" Shortly after the other regular customer and her nail tech started saying "oh he's rude to everyone, don't let it bother you" laughing like that's something to be proud of? She's a kid, there's no need to be rude. Like stated before the nails were cute and easy to do but the customer experience was something I've never experienced. So to keep it short this lady cut me 3TIMES! First time.. ok it happens once in a while due to carelessness I'll let it slide. 2nd I'm annoyed but don't like complaining or making a stink..3rd time now I mad AND I had polish all over my fingers and up my cuticles!!! The ONLY reason they got 2 stars and not 1 is because they had someone else redo my nails and they turned out ok pretty good with some mistakes but no biggie.. the kicker... THEY STILL CHARGED ME $80 for my visit even after I showed them the 3 gashes. Regardless if they had someone fix my polish, you don't charge someone the full price when your leaving there 3 sores on ur hands. I wasn't expecting a free visit but at least a discounted price. I got there early and they were ready for me. A nice gentleman did my Mani and Pedi. Unfortunately, I can't remember his name. He was meticulous and the nails speak for themselves. You absolutely cannot beat the prices here. I will be back! Me and my daughters were using Lox nail for a long time because the old couple that was working there were so good and such nice people,but when they left I starting using Nina and she was doing a good job but her husband has such a bad attitude with the costumers,he doesn't care about the clients. My daughters moved to another salon but I stayed there because it is close to my house, but last week I made an appointment and I got there 10 minutes late and he told me that they cannot do my nails because I was late, but sometimes I have to wait for them more than 10 minutes even with an appointment and he started yelling at me in front of everybody. This man is not a man, first because I'm a woman and second because I've been a costumer for so long. The only thing he cares about is the cigarette, he has to smoke every 5 minutes and he smells so bad doing your nails and that's not sanitary. I don't recommend. read more

I called the same day for a appointment. A man answered the phone and booked me with no issues. When I got there I picked my color and sat down. The reason why I went was to try the new powder dip on my natural nails. A lot of my friends swear by it for natural nails. He started drilling my nails and then pulled out tips to glue on. I told him I didn't want to make my nails longer I just wanted my natural nails. He seemed upset about this and it made me kind of uncomfortable. A women who worked there stepped in and stated it's pretty for the natural nails. He continued but clearly was mad that I didn't want tips. He was drilling my nails and burning me with the drill. He was rushing the entire time. I was so upset I wanted to get up and walk out. When he was done, one of my nails was darker then the others, my nails were glued to my skin, and my pinky was slightly bleeding. He kept digging his nail into my skin which I absolutely think is disgusting. He then kept using a nipper to cut my cuticle but his nipper was so dull, that he kept using it to pull my skin away which hurt and made it worse. I asked the women to please check me out so I could leave. She looked at my nails and saw my frustration and how upset I was. She asked me to sit back down. She then took 15 minutes out of her own time to fix my nails. She apologized several times and I could tell she was also upset with the job that the man did. The only reason why I'm giving 3 stars is because of Nina. If it wasn't for her I would be giving 1 star and not going back. I will now go back only for Nina. read more
