Every staff member is friendly, kind, and seems to genuinely care about their patients wellbeing. Seriously the nicest people! I've been going here for over 30 years. Made a silly choice and left at some point to try a different dentist shortly after I got married and got on my husbands insurance, but came back as a patient when I realized what a gem this place is. The other office felt like going to a spa...an expensive spa where they didn't stick to their estimates or prices and kept finding new ways to charge me for services I didn't need. I don't want a spa, I want a good dentist who will treat me well, with honesty and integrity. Thats what Lowry dental is. Great family business I'll keep coming back to. read more

I had a very postiive experience here. I saw Dr. Eric Lowry for an emergency extraction. I called the office on Sunday afternoon and left a message letting them know I needed an emergency extraction. They got back to me first thing Monday morning and got me in that afternoon to see the doctor. Infection had set in by that time and I was starting to feel feverish, but the moment I walked in the door, I began to feel better. Everyone there, from the front desk receptionist to Dr. Lowry's assistant, to Dr. Lowry himself was friendly, caring and responsive to my needs. They clearly communicated my options and convinced me to go with a less invasive procedure. Because of Dr. Lowry's careful preparation and numbing of the area, the extraction itself was absolutely painless. I didn't even realize that he had removed the tooth until he offered to show it to me. Afterwards, Dr. Lowry and his assistant made sure that I understood the post-care protocol and took the time to answer all of my questions. I live in Seattle and visit Boise for work. I wish I could find a practice like this in Seattle. read more

They are the nicest people. My son fell on his scooter and broke his two front teeth. It was late in the evening. The dentist met me at his office and examined my son after hours. We went back a couple days later and he fixed his front teeth flawlessly! Now our whole family goes there and we all have had good experiences. Highly recommended! read more

My boyfriend has been having some gum issues for the past few weeks and the staff here has been wonderful with getting him taken care of. Luckily, they've been able to see him on short notice a few times and have even allowed him to walk in. We don't have insurance and their out-of-pocket prices are not that awful. This is the third dentist that I tried after moving to Boise. The first one told my husband and me both that we needed crowns. That was six years ago... no crowns... They other had a dingy office and put a bunch of fillings in my son that I'm pretty sure were not required. I was relieved when I found Lowry Dental. Dr. Ben is really smart, really nice caring, very well educated, and just a great dentist. He always picks the conservative path - he'll try whatever he can to address an issue without invasive procedures. They hygienists are nice and are really careful not to hurt me. I am, like many people, not happy about going to the dentist. But I feel very comfortable there, and am glad I found them. It's kind of a long drive from my house, but it's worth it. read more

Reading all the reviews including Google I deside to give them a visit. The procedure took only 45 seconds to a minute to do. Had part of a pulled tooth coming through the gum. It needed to come out. If you have really good insurance this is the place to go. Everyone was friendly and I had confidence with the Doctor and medical staff. But since I was paying cash I'm always concerned about cost. They quoted me about 144.00$ to do the procedure and than they added a bunch of other stuff on like a exam x-ray which now was pushing 300.00$ I told them just pull the broken piece out and that's all I wanted. Sure enough the bill came to 235.00$. (For 45 seconds of work) This is why I go out of state to do my dental work... Boise has way to many dentist per capital and pricing is about 30% more than out of state. My rating reflects the charges. NOT the procedures. read more

Having worked in the dental industry myself for several years I appreciate the excellent, honest work that Lowry Dental provides. A generational family operated dental care office who has a friendly and caring staff and beautiful office. I would go to a dentist who had a poor chairside manner if that meant they offered the best dental care, but you don't have to choose between the two with the Lowry's! My Dentist has been Dr Eric Lowry since 2013. On my first visit, I was new in town and needed emergency dental care on a Saturday. Dr Eric Lowry agreed to see me on Saturday even though his office was supposed to be closed and I was not an established patient. Everyone else I called needed me to wait until Monday. Since then I have discovered that Dr Eric Lowry is also the favorite Dentist of several friends I have made here in Boise. I have always felt as though I am getting quality care at a good value and in a clean environment. Dr Eric Lowry always listens to my concerns and discusses options. I have TMJ and Dr Lowry has taken time on his own to learn more about that. I also love my Hygienist Rachael. She has also learned about TMJ and knows how to clean my teeth without aggravating my jaw. This dental office has been a good find for me. read more

My family and I have been going to Lowry Dental for approximately 11 years. My oldest was 7 years old then and terrified of going to the dentist due to a really bad experience at another dental office. I warned Dr. Eric Lowry that she was afraid. He took the time to make her feel comfortable. He made her feel like she was in control and told her everything he was going to do before he did it. She trusts him and never fights me on going to the dentist. I have two other children that see Dr. Eric and they too trust him. Dr. Eric's hygienists are also amazing. They make you feel like a friend rather than a patient, and go completely out of their way to help (like hold your screaming infant while you get your teeth cleaned). Dr. Lowry has been our dentist for over 20 years. He has seen our 7 children as well as my husband and I. I still have a bridge that he placed in my mouth in 1989-90. Dr. Lowry has removed wisdom teeth, taken care of absesses, and kept out teeth clean. I have no problem giving him the highest rating!! read more

When we came to Lowry Dental, it was apparent that we had misplaced our dental insurance card. We apologized for the mistake and asked to reschedule. The redheaded receptionist was rolling her eyes and making snide remarks. Eventually she said, "You just wasted an hour of our hygienist's time." That was true, but we just made a simple mistake and we had apologized multiple times at this point. Has this woman ever made a mistake? She had about 40 years on me so I'm sure she's made plenty. I walked out, never to come back to Lowry Dental again. The front office is the face of your company. Fix it. read more
