WOW this is the way a Dental office should be - Warm, Friendly and Very professional. I am a new patient and from the moment I walked in the front desk staff made me feel like I was family. No lengthy forms to fill out and as soon as I completed the information sheet I was escorted by the Dental Assistant (Sorry I didn't get her name) to the back area and immedialy Dr Hambliin came in and introduced himself. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Shortly there after Dr Hamblin completed the procedure on me and I was out the door after a quick X-Ray. My family has been receiving care from Dr. Hamblin for the past 16 years. His son just joined his office and he treated me for the first time this morning. Both of them and their staff are attentive and caring. Over the years, I've had my favorite hygienists at his office, but never had one I didn't like. The office is pleasant and clean. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the dentist was honest and straight forward. I have been to other dentists that exaggerated what my needs were in order to make more money. HUGE relief to find a dentist with integrity. I only wish I had switched to them sooner. I've known Robbie Hamblin for awhile and decided to move my family to his practice. Seems he turned a personal church matter into a vindictive public one. My 8 month pregnant wife picked up our kids early from school and went to take them to their dental appointments only to find out they were cancelled and the staff was instructed not to tell us. Be aware that if you upset this DMD that he may kick you and your family out as well. EDIT In response to the owners version of things... Robbie Hamblin let's clarify so that all is on the table. I made a decision for my family that you disagreed with and frankly is nobody's business but my own. You became very hostile to the point of swearing and using profanity at me and telling me how I do not measure up in your eyes. I stated that it looks like we may have to find another dentist. In that moment you became very apologetic and I left it at that. Not cancelling our appointments and letting bygones be well bygones. Even shook your hand as I left that day wishing you well and that things would work out for you and your ill temper. So yes, you took it further. Is it a misunderstanding sure hope so, but my wife was truly embarrassed and then to have your staff tell my wife they were instructed not to say anything. How can it not be taken as vindictive? Sorry Robbie. You can't have it both ways in this world. Own your mistakes and practice what you preach. Best of luck! My review stands. read more

I went in due to some pain on the top left part of my mouth. I have some sensitivity whenever I eat or drink anything warm or cold. I made an appt to go in and get it checked out. The staff was friendly, and the service was pretty speedy, which I appreciated....however, after I told both the hygienist and dentist where it hurt, how it hurt, when it first started to hurt, as well as what it could be. (No professional, but my friend works in the industry and I had her briefly diagnose it before going in) They completely disregarded what I said. Then proceeded to say that its because my teeth are uneven and there is force between the two teeth. He then proceeded to grind my bottom teeth down while explaining that, that must be the reason on why my teeth are hurting. He then sent me on my way, explaining that it shouldn't hurt anymore, and that based on a x-ray (that was poorly done) that my teeth check out fine, but he is "unsure" if there is a cavity or not, but if there is, it could be in the enamel in which it wouldn't show on the x ray any way. Told me if it was hurting again that he would gladly re evaluate it and see what could be done. They then wanted to schedule a cleaning (Which I respectfully declined) And I left, with the same issue still unresolved that I walked in with. It still hurts, and I really feel like I wasted my time. Needless to say, I rescheduled an appt with another firm with hopefully someone who can solve the issue and stop the pain I feel. read more

I have been seeing Dr Hamblin for a little over a year or two. I was excited to find a sedation dentist as I have dealt with some dental anxiety over the past several years, and thought this may be the solution. It does help for sure. I ask many questions because my health/dental care is very important to me and when I understand a procedure I feel better about moving forward with it. I have had cleanings, X-rays,panoramic X-ray , bite trays, whitening, a tooth pulled etc at this office and prep for a bridge was underway. So this morning I take a pill he prescribed for anxiety and go in at 8a.m. to prepare for a dental bridge. They give me a blanket ,check my b.p. And prepare for the I.v. He puts in the sedation I.v. asks if I have any questions which I did , about the type of bridge material he used ,stressing I don't want metal. He mentioned what we could do instead. My husband mentioned my blood pressure was a bit high and then he showed me a picture on his phone of his truck at which Dr Hamblin became angry ,informing my husband he's in the middle of a procedure and proceeded to say he wasn't going to do it now . I sent my husband out of the room thinking maybe it was the distraction but Dr. Hamblin refused to continue, saying things like he spent an hour talking with me at another appointment and that I got to choose who I wanted as a dentist and he can choose who he wants as a patient and he took out my IV . It was so unprofessional and made no sense why he would behave that way. at this point I was holding back crying because I was already sedated by the pill and we walked out of the office pretty much dumbfounded. I will not go back there and wouldn't recommend this man to anyone. read more

Best office I've ever visited. The hygienists are the amazing and absolutely fabulous with kids. I even had a few quirky requests like ex-nay on the cotton in my mouth (worse than a needle to me), and Dr. Hamblin totally made it work. Highly recommended! read more

Awesome dental office, awesome staff and awesome Dr Hamblin. Just had a root canal and he did an amazing job very caring and gentle. Had zero pain that evening and feeling great!! Dental assistant Kylie did a great job. Thank you Dr Hamblin and Brookside Dental....I'll be back and will continue to go there. I'll be sending my family members there. We have been going to Brookside since they opened shortly after we moved here. The office staff and Dr. Hamblin are always great! Dr. Hamblin is respectful of my time , so I never wait- even when I have had an emergency! He also works VERY hard to keep from pain- As i have had SO much dental work this is a real plus for me, never feel the shots! read more
