Paint, nails, cookware, cleaning supplies, tools, keys, and many odd and end items. The guys that work here are great. They strive to assist people any way they can and do it with a huge smile. They also still wear the old school True Value Aprons like they did back in the old days. Entering this specific store is like you went back into time when things were more simpler. I love it. They write everything down on a carbon copy receipt and tally it all up on a hand calculator. This kind of store don't seem to exist any more. Why? Because you get one on one help even when its with the littlest of things such as the needing the right screws. This is important to me especially when I'm in a hurry. Chevy Chase came through for me. There is plenty of off street parking in the back plus a back door for customers. The inside of the store seems huge but its hard to tell since the aisles are narrow and it looks like its two buildings put together inside. The rows of aisles is endless it seems. I got there just before closing and did not have time to browse the whole store. Staff was super friendly and extra helpful. I highly recommend this store for your home maintenance needs.

Don't waste your money. We have rented both an excavator and skid steer from this company and had…read moreissues both times. The 1st time they wanted to charge us for the swing door at the engine even though it came to us already messed up. Then, come to find out the engine compartment doors coming loose on the Yanmar is a known issue amongst most Yanmar excavators. Then we rented a skid steer. They brought it to us with it leaking hydraulic fluid. To make things worse we rented the skid steer with tracks to help navigate our terrain better. Unfortunately, there was no tread on the tracks so all the skid steer would do is spin. This meant it took twice as long to get work done. The poor condition of the tracks made it impossible for 2 of the big jobs to be completed. Luckily the operator is well versed in running machines and was able to make it work for part of the job. We won't talk about how the back up camera didn't work, the fuel gauge level kept going up and down, and the pin that holds on the attacments wouldn't release properly causing us to lose valuable work time. Due to this, we were unable to beat the rain so the rain undid everything we had already done. The skid steer wasn't running at the horsepower it should have been running at so, the machine used way more fuel than it should have, if we go by what they charged us for fuel. Needless to say we spent almost $1300 for a machine that didn't work! Their fix was to only charge 1 day rental vs 2. Then they charged more for delivery and pick-up charges and more for fuel. We ended up paying more than what it was going to cost us for 2 days. We will be taking our business elsewhere and recommend that you do the same.

I took my flower basket to the return desk where that checker told me there was nothing she would do unless I wanted a refund. It was .98 cents but if a dollar amount is posted, that's what they should charge. I should have spoken with the manager but I was way too mad at this point. This was the Winchester, KY Lowe's.

The place was staffed by the owner and one employee. They were so friendly, it was a pleasure just to chat with them. The owner is more artist that anything. I purchased some unique post cards that she had made of downtown's across Kentucky. The owner advised that she is attempting to have a set of cards from each County in Kentucky. The price on these one of a kind cards was really affordable. The framework looks like they have a solid set of options. The business is located in Downtown Winchester across from the Hardware Store. I have a ton of items to get framed and I am so excited about having a place to go that is so convenient. Stop by sometime and give this place a try.
