What a fun stop!! I could spend a lot more money in Ollie's than I did. They sell everything from…read morebooks, household, hardware, personal care, movies, non perishable food, you name it! The book section was my favorite! I found 2 cookbooks that I think I will get good use of ($2.99 each). I kind of wish Ollie's had makeup. They have shampoo and toothpaste and such. But no lipsticks, mascara, nail polish, eyeshadow, etc. Ollie's is very similar to a Big Lots but I think Ollies is a bit better quality stuff.

I ordered a dresser and nightstand online, and entered my credit card so I assumed it was paid for…read moreand reserved. When I ordered online it said the item was in stock. I called to see if I could pick up on Saturday and they said yes. When I arrived at the store I walked over to the furniture counter. There was an employee at the counter - who saw me coming that direction - that turned and walked off and never returned. I waited for 25 minutes and had to go to the front to ask someone to help. When they finally helped me, they informed me that they canceled my order because they no longer had the item. I was under the impression that I bought and paid for it, but I guess they sold my item to someone else. Then she said "so you are picking up the nightstand?" Well no, why would I need the nightstand without the matching dresser. She also said that she was the one that canceled my order just the other day. Terrible customer service.

We were told that our delivery would be before 3:00p today. When hadn't showed up around 3:30, I called the store just to check and see what was going on. They said that the drivers had gotten a little behind, there were two stops to go ahead of us and it shouldn't be much longer. I figured that would be fine. I know they really don't know what the drivers might have to do (set-up or having to load any returns). At 4:00p I called again. I was just trying to get a ballpark guess. I still had stuff to do out in town. The nice man who spoke with me that time apologizetd for the inconvenience and asked to call me back after he had a chance to speak with the delivery drivers. I called back at 4:30p. I don't think he had any luck reaching them, he asked for my number and said he'd have the driver call me back. After another 25 minutes of not hearing anything I phoned the store yet again. I tried to explain to the young lady that answered the phone that I just needed a closer estimate, like I said, I have things to do outside of the house. She seemed upset with me and tried to explain that I was scheduled for after 3. She seemed very dismissive. It's 5:15p, I've made 4 calls about my delivery and they just got here. So much for my appointment that was at 5:00.
