WAY better than the big box stores!…read more I'm a newly minted fan of Ace. Recently bought 5 dozen canning jars for a fraction of the price elsewhere when most places were sold out. All came intact and are great quality. This store was recommended to me as being well stocked. And so it was! Tonight I got some help from the guys in the store with propane accoutrements. Didn't get the right bit the first time and they helped me find the appropriate bob. They were so friendly and proactive. I was happy to go back. The store was clean, exceptionally stocked with every kind of thing, bright and spacious. I was surprised by the selection. Such a fantastic experience compared to wandering the massive cold warehouse aisles hoping somebody might help me. I think I'll head for Ace first from now on as I try to engage the world on a more human level as it too quickly fades out of our memory and daily experience. Stop in here. I doubt you'll regret it.

I work a full time job and have bought everything i own . Im appauld that this is ok. Im half spanish so my skin color is slightly brown. Is this why i was asked to leave my purse? It was a mediom size purse but regaurdless of the size is it really necassary to lose good buisness by trying to make someone leave there purse at the front of the store? What a humiliating experience.

Love Menards and their deals…read more Christiana at the front desk (blonde/middle aged woman) had a foul attitude and found humor in the loss of thousands of dollars of plant life in the woefully neglected garden center. No intention of speaking with management. Joked about them being over watered. Cold snaps, whichever way they put it- the garden center is abysmal. It's beyond depressing. Other shoppers spent more time remarking on the death counts of plants instead of shopping for them. Crispy ferns. Dead monstera. Fruit trees dead in their planters and wilting. Corporate needs to know that they are bleeding money by not taking care of their products, and it's a shame because the selection would be nice if they would just... water them. Not laugh and tug themselves around when they could just simply hook up the hoses and give 10% effort. Idk if they are short staffed or what, but even the garden center manager is "aware" of the issues and each time we've gone in (3-4 times this month and a half for home projects) the situation is getting worse and worse. They just let the trucks dump the plants off and leave them to die. Why take care of something and give customers something of value when they could just hope someone can save one off the truck before it winds up at the morgue for plants. Look at the photos. Tells you a lot. And again- talked to staff. They even find it funny. They don't care. Just- tremendous waste of life. Both with speaking with the care desk and with how they handle plant life.

This post is to thank Robert in the plumbing section for his assistance!…read more Robert went above and beyond to assist us during our visit there. I never having shopped at this Home Depot location. Had a large list of supplies i needed to purchase. Robert stayed with us until all of our parts were in the cart! Robert even cut and threaded two odd sized 3/4" black pipe nipples for us. Robert you service is amazing. Thanks for the assistance!

Home Depot's Customer Service Is Absolutely Appalling…read more I have never experienced such a frustrating, exhausting, and poorly handled customer service situation. We purchased a new GE dishwasher from Home Depot, only to discover during installation that a shocking amount of water--approximately two bath towels' worth--was leaking from inside the dishwasher door and had saturated the internal insulation. After speaking with GE about this unusual situation, we were advised that the dishwasher was not safe to keep and that returning it was the best course of action. You would think returning a defective appliance would be straightforward. Not with Home Depot. One customer service representative was so rude and argumentative that he refused to review the notes on our account, repeatedly insisted we were outside the 48-hour window despite our having followed the instructions given to us by Home Depot's own representative, and ultimately hung up on me when I repeatedly requested to speak with a supervisor or manager. Let that sink in: a customer trying to resolve a legitimate product safety concern gets treated this way by the very company that sold them the appliance. The next representative was helpful in arranging a pickup for the following day. Based on that confirmation, we hired our contractor to uninstall the hardwired dishwasher after hours, paying extra for the service. Then we discovered the next day that Home Depot could not actually accommodate the promised pickup, leaving us stuck with a disconnected dishwasher sitting in our living room for the entire weekend with THREE young children in the house. We are now $175 out of pocket in installation and uninstall fees, plus a $39 delivery fee that has not been refunded. That is $214 in expenses we should not have to fight to recover after purchasing an appliance that GE advised us was not safe to keep. We have made multiple attempts to resolve this, sent emails, provided documentation, and followed up repeatedly. Yet Home Depot has still not contacted us with a resolution regarding these additional expenses. To make matters worse, even the original dishwasher refund was initially processed incorrectly, shorting us $39 from the purchase price. Every step of this process has required us to chase someone down, repeat the same story, correct another mistake, or deal with another communication failure. Home Depot has failed us at every turn: Selling us an appliance that raised serious safety concerns during installation. Providing inconsistent information and failing to honor the pickup arrangements we were given. Causing us to incur additional contractor expenses because of inaccurate scheduling. Having a customer service representative hang up on a customer requesting a manager. Processing an incorrect refund. Ignoring repeated attempts to obtain reimbursement for our out-of-pocket expenses. The only positive interaction was with the second representative who tried to help schedule the return. Unfortunately, even that interaction resulted in a pickup commitment that could not be fulfilled. This is not just about a dishwasher. It is about a company taking customers' money and then leaving them to deal with the financial burden, wasted time, and stress when something goes wrong. We have spent hours trying to resolve a problem we did not create, and we are still waiting for Home Depot to take responsibility. Home Depot, this is unacceptable. We want our outstanding $214 in expenses reimbursed, along with a clear response to our repeated requests. Customers should not have to beg for basic accountability after a product safety issue, and they certainly should not be hung up on for asking for a supervisor. Think twice before assuming Home Depot will stand behind your purchase when something goes wrong. Our experience has been an absolute nightmare, and the lack of follow-through has been just as disappointing as the original product issue.
