Lowe's lost my business from here on out. I wanted to buy a floor model stove and was told I could not until it was replaced. Leroy, a manager, put my number in the system for me to be called the moment it was replaced. I decided to go to the store to double check whether the stove was still there and was greeted by the whole shown in the photo. A worker in appliances told me someone bought it and took it - an option I was told twice did not apply to me. Its disgusting policy is so random. I'll give my business to a local appliance store instead where I'll get actual customer service. Leroy is great but it didn't even matter he got involved. read more

We had Lowes put hardwood floors in our hallway. I did the other sections myself, but the hallway was an unusual shape (not a simple L shape) with 6 doors (4 bedrooms, bathroom and closet). They gave me a 10% veteran discount. They helped me save $150 by picking up the materials myself (5 boxes of flooring, quarter round and vapor barrier). Then I got a $30 Lowes cash credit which I used for a new toy, err, I mean tool. The crew did an excellent job. Assistant manager Curtis C declined my return of two frost blankets even though they were packed in original bags with receipt. Both blankets were useless and I lost 5 plants. Sub par representatives that know little about their job and even less about customer service. There was a woman who helped me named Karen. The barcode would not allow me to Leave a review. She has pretty white hair and I believe glasses. It was a Monday at around 10:30 am, she helped me find a specific safety mask I needed that the godforsaken Lowe's app could not give me accurate info on. SHE is why we need more HUMAN customer service reps and NOT more automated things. She searched high and low for my product and found it in the wrong spot even. This location is always insanely busy , so it is not an enjoyable shopping experience. I come here if I can not get something at Sparrs, which is pretty sleepy all of the time. We need a Lowes down by The Turnpike. The parking lot is always nuts too, just too frantic at this location. I always end up parking way out on the fringes. I will say most of the employees I have dealt with have been pleasant and helpful. Many of them are older which is interesting. read more

It was the worst experience with a hardware store ever. I decided delivery would be a time saver (more than a month ago.) I ordered a stack of 2x4s and hardware to build a workshop in a garage. The order shows up five days later, missing the washers and with a painted 8x10x3/4 plywood. I'm told that the washers are in a locker at Wildwood, and they are waiting. Huh? If I had wanted to pick up this stuff, I would have picked it up and saved the $70 delivery order. Two weeks later, a guy shows up to pick up the incorrect sheet of plywood, but he doesn't have the replacement piece (which cost 1/2 the price.) Ten calls later and a month and a half later (May 5, to June 10th), the plywood is not here. After another two hours on the phone, they agree to deliver the correct piece, but I need to pay another $70 for delivery. I will pay that $70 delivery fee, but it's going to Home Depo. The worst part of this is the endless phone calls with people trying to justify their jobs and how they can't do anything. Never again with Lowe's in Wildwood. Home Depot is my new supplier. At 7:00 AM today, Friday, April 12, I entered the store to purchase a refilled propane tank. There was no cashier at any register! Customer Service referred me to the associate assisting at self-checkout. I approached her for assistance. She was very unhelpful in helping me with my purchase. And when I needed additional assistance in securing a military discount, her "service" went from "unhelpful" to "hostile!" And just now, when I called to report this concern to a manager, I spent about 10 minutes listening to their awful "elevator music" waiting for someone to answer the phone-and nobody ever did! We Already decided on the dishwasher we wanted to get. We just had a few questions and we needed to talk to a sales person. Not one person was in the appliance department. We push the button waited for 10 minutes and no one came despite being called over the loudspeaker multiple times. There were other people in the department waiting for help with washing machines. They are help never came either. We walked out of the store disgruntled and went onto another Lowe's where are we hope we'll get better service. I would never go back to this one. read more

Lowes cannot be trusted! Ordered a washer and dryer 11/25 which was scheduled to be delivered today. We received a confirmation text last night giving us a delivery window of 10:30 to 2:30. At 12:10, someone from Lowe's calls and says "oh we don't have your washer and dryer. It will be coming in January 29" Seriously they didn't know that when they sent the delivery confirmation?? And this is after they told us two weeks ago that the dryer was in and they were waiting for the washer. Sorry Lowe's you've lost a customer. read more

If you go to this Wildwood Lowes ask for Arthur to help you. He is a jack of all trades. I needed tile and the one I wanted didn't have enough. I didn't want to run from store to store. Working with Arthur was like working with an interior designer that had a lot of expertise. He gave me the pros and cons of the different tile and then after I had chosen the pieces for the edges , he said"I want you to love it" he then showed me the show stopper trim! He also helped me choose grout , caulk and remind me to seal it ! i had questions about where to grab other items and he was like having a map! If it weren't for Arthur , I would have had a negative review there were 8 people in front of me to check out and no self checkouts . I bought a refrigerator in Ocala on a Friday and paid with my debit card. I was told that they had the frig in Wildwood. And I should call and confirm on Sat for Sun delivery. Well on Sat Wildwood Lowes didnt have one in stock. They said It would take a week or several weeks to get it delivered. Mind you Ive lost 300.00 or more in food already. I dont get paid for another week. Food and things are already scarce due to Covid 19. So, the order was cancelled. Now for the next 6 days Lowes will not give me my money back. Had even told me the charge never went through. WRONG! SO...... Ive lost my food. I have no refrigerator. No money to buy food and Lowes will NOT give me a refund. REALLY? I have my receipt!.!?.!! It takes me to call the bank to have a print off to prove I was charged. It takes 6 days of arguments with Lowes to get my money back. I have to borrow money for the week to feed my family. And have to get a family member to drive me 50 miles south to Wildwood to argue to get my money back. Lowes thought It was acceptable to give me a gift card for 1229.34 instead of cash like I gave them. I had to fight to get my cash back. I complain and they shrug their shoulders. REALLY??? I call the home office to let them know and ask if Ill get a call back and they listen to my complaint then hang up. AGAIN REALLY??? I will start shopping at Home Depot and tell my friends which are builders from the Villages and Ocala to change and give their business to Home Depot. Spent an hour picking out tile for my living room. The sales person , who was also the manager of that dept., so the store manager said, was assisting me. When I was ready to pay he told me to take a seat while he helped another couple. After about 5 minutes he was still talking & laughing with the other people. So I went up to him and told him I was going to Home Depot and that he lost a sale. My total was 9 hundred and some odd dollars. Money that eventually went to Home Depot. I had 1 item to and walked up to the checkout, first thing I notice is that the self checkout lanes are closed. I then notice that there is only 1 checkout lane with a light on there are at least 3 people in that line with carts full of stuff. I also notice another line with no light on with 2 people in it. As someone else walked up to that line they were told it was closing so they got in the long line behind me. As I am are standing there waiting with my one little item the last person in the "closing" line finishes up and 2 other people walk up to the line and are allowed to check out, when a third person is taken in the "closing" line, I asked the cashier are you closed or not and get a snide remark followed by my name is Matt, use it in your review. We ordered a higher priced refrigerator and ask for it to be delivered to home, they sent a truck that was to big to get down driveway so we requested for a smaller truck for they to re deliver on Sat and they brought the same big truck and my husband had them come across the cow pasture and they got to house and unloaded the refrigerator to find it broken, so they took it back with them and rescheduled to deliver on Monday and the same crew from the first deliver called and asked if I had the 100 year old oak tree cut down. Well I'm sure you know what my response was. They then call them and had smaller truck pickup my refrigerator to deliver at 1:00 pm today and I didn't hear from them so I called back the deliver driver and he said he could get down driver way and they took pictures BUT didn't even try to contact me because we had a way to get in but told me he already turned it back in to return to warehouse. Deliver company and Lowe's really has let me down that they have been here three times and we still have NO refrigerator. At this point no more added stress needed to be added to our life so we have cancelled the order and we not be doing any business at Lowe's anytime in the future.
