In interviewing potential new employees, loyalty to the job, never calling off, willing to work extra shifts, coming in early to work, working really hard and enthusiastically, being customer oriented, dressed professional in interviewing with a professional resume and cover letter, having college degrees, and having relevant work experiences mean nothing to the Gen Z and Millennial hiring folks. We called within a week of their delivery and they said that they couldnt do anything about it because it was past the 48hr window. NOWHERE DID IT SAY THAT WE HAD 48HRS TO RETURN A DEFECTIVE ITEM. They said we had to go through the manufacturer. We jumped though all their hoops with pictures and videos and required steps to perform only to tell us that it was normal. The unit never shuts off and feels hot to the touch. This is the second one we bought as we liked the 1st one and we had no problems at all with that one. So this isnt normal. If you buy anything from LOWES you should know that you have ONLY 48 hours to find out if it is defective. If it is after that you are on your own with robots and AI telling you that the defects are your problem. Very poor way to do buisness. We have been a customer for years and because of this we will no longer trust them our business.

The morning of the delivery I got another text saying it was out for delivery. 1 pm I called and they said that they didn't have the dryer. After letting them know how I felt about that I received a text that night saying it would be delivered the next day. A text again the morning of the delivery said it would be delivered between 1:30-4:30. I called at 130 and again they said they said it wasn't being delivered as this time they didn't have the washer. I went to the store and spoke with the assistant manager who said if o go back to the appliance section an associate would help me select a different model and he would come back and make sure I got what I was looking for. I was never approached by anyone and the assistant manager never showed up. I had the service desk call him. He shows up I told him I never had any assistance. I canceled my order with them and his attitude was just ok I'll cancel the order. There is just no accountability.

The delivery date was changed to the following day which I had no problem with. I was told that they would be at my house between 7 and 11 AM. I was up at 5:30 in the morning to empty my fridge and get everything ready for them to take it away. At 9:30 I received a text saying that they had changed the date from Saturday, December 20 to Monday, December 22. At that point I canceled the order completely. I followed up in the store and I was told that I would not get my credit $1500 for 5 to 7 days even though I paid with a debit card They were treating it as I had paid with a credit card. I do not recommend the Home Depot to anyone go anywhere else but. Still trying to get my money back.

The installer named Sterling called and gave a time range between 2 and 4, showed up at 2:30, removed the old, installed the new, tested it, cleaned up and took the old one away. All in all, from the initial phone call to the store through the completed installation was a pleasant experience. My wife and I were really surprised and thankful that everything went so smoothly.
