I had alot of issues that took 8 days, numerous trips to Lowe's and numerous phone calls. I finally spoke with "Sherri" and assistant manager and SHE was the one who finally helped me out. I want to thank her for taking the time and putting the effort into making this debacle right. I will never buy an appliance from Lowe's again. My Wife and I bought a dishwasher from this Lowe's in November. We also bought an install. This has been the experience. -Dishwasher was supposed to be installed in mid-November. Installers arrived, but then said they'd need to return because unexpected work was needed. I was told I'd get a call in 1-2 business days with a new invoice. -I never received a call and I had no contact number, so I called Lowe's. I was told that I needed to pay the new invoice before a date was set, but nobody called me to give me that cost. -Dishwasher installed in late November. -tithe kick-plate popped off the bottom of the dishwasher at the start of April. I couldn't see how it reattached as there was padding packed in behind the plate. The padding was so thick that it appears to have it popped the plate off. I didn't see how to reattach it, so contacted Lowe's. -9 AM to noon of that day was spent on the phone as Lowe's told me to call the Protection Plan number. The Protection Plan group told me to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer told me to contact Lowe's. -when I called the Lowe's store, an employee told me that he could get install to come out and fix the issue and that the installers would call me in 1-2 business days. -I was never called. A week later, I call back to this store and somebody claiming to be a department manager said he'd handle it and that I'd be contacted Im within 24 business hours. -I was never called. I physically went to the store and asked to speak to the install group. An employee called and I was finally scheduled to have this issue fixed on 5/6. -on 5/6, nobody shows. There's no phone call. I call Lowe's, Lowe's calls the installers, and I then receive a text giving me another date later in May. -The installers try calling, but it's between 9 and 11 each time. I'm working and unable to take calls. If I try to call back, I'm unable to reach a human being. -I was finally able to have somebody at the home on 6/18, and I receive a phone call at 7:46 AM saying they'll be arriving in 10-15 minutes. It's now past 9. -I try calling the number for the installer and I'm immediately sent to a recording saying that the voicemail box isn't set up, and the call cuts off. -it's been 2 and a half months of trying to get this resolved and the only person to show the least of interest in helping me is a rep Customer Care. -Customer Care said I should expect a call from a store manager, but I've gotten nothing. It's blatantly obvious that this location doesn't care about the customer, so I'm going to return the sentiment and do my appliance shopping elsewhere. UPDATE: Lowe's called at 7:45 AM saying they'd arrive to my home in 10-15 minutes. They once again no-showed and didn't call until 11:30 to tell me they'd not make it today. read more

What can you say about a Lowe's that hasn't already been said? In a dwindling retail area this seems to be one of the few bright spots for the area. Set up like most other Lowe's locations, not much different. This one did seem to have the best stocked shelves in a Lowe's that I can remember. The employees here were a little more helpful than at other places. They knew where their products were and didn't have to second guess themselves. The " manager " Wendy was rude , useless and kept walking away to attend to other things instead of completing my transaction. She is loud and acts like we are inconveniencing her. Despite the caution before posting a review I can't not find this particular Lowe's being derelict in not requiring masks to be worn at all times. They used to have a greeter posted at the entrance who could have very easily been tasked with policing that requirement. Wal-Mart does it. Giant Eagle does it so what's up? Two managers have stated that not wearing a mask isn't against the law. A mandate is law in PA, the legislature allows the executive branch to mandate law under certain circumstances and no court has been tasked with overturning that decision so it's law, period. I've been in this store several times when a few people didn't have masks but this last time there were several in one isle. I won't be patronizing Lowe's until there's a solution to the pandemic and if you care about your health I suggest you do too. read more

I have never had a worse, less professional, lazy, incompetent delivery crew. After failing to call ahead before delivery, I had to rush out of the office to meet them. I got out of my car and asked, "how's it going?" The delivery man, sulking with his arms crossed, not making eye contact says, "been better". It went downhill from there. They had my Kamado Joe grill fully assembled - next to the garbage cans on the curb... I was surprised as any Kamado style grill is heavy, and needs final assembly at the location it is to be installed. They then said it was too heavy to move and was 'not safe'. I offered my tools and said why don't we disassemble into smaller pieces so it can be moved. They replied that they didn't think it could go back together (they simply didn't want to do any work), and stood around complaining about my driveway and seemed flabbergasted that I would want my grill on the back patio. After threatening to call corporate, they reluctantly said that they have a dolly and spent 15 minutes complaining and strategizing how to move the grill. After trying to go up steps with it, which I recommended they NOT do, (there was a gentle grass slope instead five feet away), the technician falls down, cursing loudly and moving away. In my full office attire, I took the dolly and moved the grill to the patio. I have never met such blatantly lazy, unintelligent men in my life. I will never do business again with a store that sees acceptable to hire such men. read more

Do not buy an appliance from here, especially if you need it to be delivered. I was helping a family member with a refrigerator purchase. When delivery day arrived, they were given a mid-afternoon timeframe. My family member calls me a little after 10, in a bit of a panic. The truck showed up at 10AM, while they were just starting to get things cleared out for access. Lowes was told that the refrigerator doors would have to be removed to get it into place. The delivery crew looked at the old refrigerator and declared that they would not remove it because it had a (disconnected) copper waterline. Furthermore, they said they would not deliver the new one because the water shutoff is in the basement and not behind the refrigerator. When my family member asked them to install it without the water connected (which was the reason they called me, to see if I could help get it connected afterwards), the delivery crew removed the front door from the house, shoved the refrigerator through it, scraping the front, and then LEFT IT IN THE LIVING ROOM DOORWAY, got back in the truck, and drove away. I drove my family member to the store to see if we could get someone to finish the job, and more specifically to get the water hookup hose and paperwork for the 'fridge, which the delivery people took when they left. Lowes stated that the delivery was handed off to a third party, and would do NOTHING for the customer, who was pretty miserable and definitely feeling ripped off at this point. They gave us the number to call for the delivery company, and that was it. The saga with the delivery company was even worse. This isn't a review about them, but for completeness, they refused to do anything about the damage, but promised someone would be out to take the old broken refrigerator and properly install the new one on Monday. Monday they are given a time mid-afternoon again. Time comes and goes, with no delivery people. Call the company again, and get told that the crew working is allergic to cats and won't come out because there are cats in the house. More complaining on my family member's part, and the company promises someone on Wednesday. Crew actually shows up, but they say that their work order is only to remove the old 'fridge. They do that, and then tell my family that they will come back on Sunday to install the new one. I bet you already know where this is going. Sunday I get a call from my family member asking about borrowing a set of hex wrenches. I find out that the crew ghosted them, and they decided to just install it themselves. I go over to give them a hand, because moving these things around an old house isn't easy. The store refused to help with anything. I realize that they offload the delivery to a third party, but that doesn't matter. The store does not care about keeping customers, they do not care about building consumer trust and confidence, and the employees are not empowered to help. This area has several local appliance stores. Go to one of them. Absolutely avoid Lowes and its incompetent customer management. Once they have your money, that is the end of the relationship, the end of their support, and the end of their desire to help you do anything, other than maybe buy something else. read more

I do love Lowe's because they have EVERYTHING! But trying to find help in that place is a joke. Too many times I've left because no one was around to help me even when I've walked thru multiple sections of the store. It's incredibly frustrating. On this visit I just stuck to the outside flower area. They keep it very nice and the flowers are never gross or unkempt. I bought sod at Lowes pgh mills location. It was raining so I didn't have time to unroll the 2x5 pieces, but There was green sticking out the side. I got home and unrolled when the rain stopped. Grass was completely dead (see brown patch on the right). By comparison, I got the nice green patch of sod at a competitor the same day (in picture on left). To make it worse, when I called they stated if I want I a refund, I would have to drive the dead grass with wet mud falling apart back to the store. I offered to send a picture of the terrible product and receipt and was told it must be physically returned which wasn't worth the time and aggravation (or mess). read more

Bought an exterior door from this Lowe's 4500.00 with install. Third party installer called to setup a date for install. Time came for install Pittsburgh Mills Lowe's call to drop off order day before . Only got door lock set with delivery. Next day installer came to install door but no door was delivered so he left us with no door and no real answer on what's happening. So, I called to talk to the manager on duty. She had no answer for my questions and told me that the install manager would call me. A week later and no call and no answer on my door. Great job Lowe's. I went to the Lowes Pgh Mills location to purchase a refrigerator and stove. As I browsed the refrigerators and waited for the sales rep to answer some questions. After 30 minutes and several customers later even though I was there before them,She seemed to ignore me so when the next customer came and she waited on them I made my presence be known that I too am waiting for her assistance but again was ignored. I felt like maybe since I was alone not with a mate she did not want to waste her time. After 45 minutes I went to customer service to make a complaint and after waiting in a long line I was told she could not get a mgr to assist me as they were to busy.What a sale they lost because I ended up going to a local got a great deal and service. read more

I spend a ridiculous amount of money at lowes because of projects around the house. I can haul most materials or purchases, but my vehicle cannot haul appliances. Lowes website advertised next day delivery. Hell i would have been happy with 2 or 3 days. My oven broke right before the holidays and well, its been a week and still waiting. Believe me, i will fork out the the extra money to RENT a truck (not from lowes) to haul any future appliances IF i decide to purchase big items from them in the future. Delivery process is Horrible. Placed an order (including 2 items) in-store. One item was supposed to be direct delivery to my home. Item was never delivered. After several calls to Lowe's employees who suggested I call Fedex because they could not help me, I asked for a manager that told me,one item was at the store ready for pick up, and ensured me the second item would be delivered to my home by the next day. The next day, I stopped at the store to get the item that was for "pick up" only to have them bring out the item that was supposed to be "direct delivery" to my home. It ended up both items were at the store and employees had no clue. Then there was an issue with paperwork regarding the "direct delivery" item. It took 15 more minutes to figure out how to release it to me. I also discovered that Lowe's did not sell the hardware required to install the item that they sold me.
