Lowe's has gone to self checkouts. Listen, I will never ever use a self checkout. I was told that a person could assist me there, I will never ever go thru a self checkout lane. read more

Selling merchandise that is way beyond its expiration date. Not concerned about doing this its military customers. Its profit over customer service. This is not the first bad experience I have had but it will be the last, Ill drive to Lake Ozark, Rolla or find other hardware stores for my future purchase, even if I don't get a military discount. read more

I often have went to Lowe's for my needs however recently I have discovered that they are spying with FLOCK cameras all over their parking lots , allowing their customers to be tracked and their privacy violated! The Lowe's corporation has caved to the corrupt overreach of our government and they will no longer get my business ever again! read more

We went to Lowe's to purchase a water heater on February 21, 2026 because our water heater had a small leak. Lowe's sent our order to Dragonfly for same day installation. We put in an order for the water heater we wanted. Lowe's told us we would get our Military Discount when the installation company Dragonfly picked up and installed the Water Heater. Dragonfly contacted us within minutes of placing the order at the store and told us not to purchase the water heater from Lowe's because they would do the pickup of the water heater and bring it to our house. They wanted us to leave Lowe's right away and take pictures and send them to Dragonfly. They then said a technician would meet us to do this. They then said they would bring a water heater from Lebanon to install. It was not the one we wanted. We told them the one we wanted was at the St. Robert store. They kept telling us it was not in stock. We told them we would go with them to show them it was available. The technician agreed to do this and Dragonfly called him and refused permission for him to do this. He then said they had it in stock at Lebanon and he was going to get it. We needed a water heater that day and they knew this. So they brought a water heater they already had and was not the one we wanted and began the installation. The technician then proceeded to break the main water pipe. He ran upstairs to frantically inquire where was the location of the water shut off. We went downstairs to find an inch of water covering the entire laundry room. We grabbed as many towels as possible and started mopping up water. The technician called other technicians to look for a Shop-Vac. He said a technician was on the way and he was helping with the clean-up at this point. We called our son in law and he came over right away with his Shop-Vac and started helping. The technician then quit helping clean up the water which had spread to the carpet in the hallway and the family room. Another technician showed up. He also did not have a Shop-Vac and didn't help with the clean-up. So, we got a water heater we didn't choose, a mess of water damaged carpet and furniture that was sitting in the water, and they refused to give us the military discount the store said they would. Dragonfly refused to compensate anything for the clean up and the water damage and Lowe's says it's not their fault. They each keep sending us back to the other one in a round robin giving us no help or compensation. Neither wants to take responsibility for the mess they created! read more

Very dishonest people. I ordered a shed online and was expecting it to be delivered in a couple weeks. 6 days after the order was made they canceled my order saying it was not available. It was available when I ordered it . They sold the item out from under us . read more

My wife wrote a check on 30 Oct 2024, which I presented to the St. Robert Store, on the 31st Oct 2024, to pay on my Lowes account. They informed me, IF THE CHECK IS NOT DATED ON THE DAY IT IS PRESENTED, they could not accept the check, I did not understand that policy. I ask to see the Store Manager to show me that policy. Store Manager was not in at that time. Ok, assistant manager would do. She informed me, that was Lowes POLICY. The young clerk, changed the date to 31 Oct 2024. When I asked the Assistant Manager to she did not have that policy or did not show it to me. I called Lows headquarters, They informed it was a store policy. I was embarrassed, hurt and angry by the way she spoke AT me. THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF WHY SHE WOULD SPEAK AT ME THAT WAY IS I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN, AND SHE WAS INCHARGE. CHET D. It's Lowe's - same setup and configuration as all other stores. Spent a lot of time here in the week that I was here, buying stuff to help my nephew with his new home. Staff were friendly, not a lot of people due to Covid-19, but that helped to keep our distances :) read more

Lowe's Home Improvement - Appliances Near Me - Saint Robert, Missouri

See all

Just had the most amazing service in appliances 20 minutes before closing! Thank you Cass, Richard, and Fenton.

They are dishonest here. I found an item that was on sale, took a photo of the price and brought it to the register. The item numbers matched and the manager lied about 'this is the old model' or something after saying this item had been discontinued. If the item was discontinued it would not have a new version. They were still too lazy to remove the sale tag so you better watch your totals at checkout. This is an unfriendly, dishonest location. I'll take my business to Menards up the road. read more

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had a retail concept of any kind. My mother had back surgery and is currently unable to walk more than about 20 minutes a day and only for limited distances as she recovers. I flew up from Dallas to take care of her for a week. My first day there her refrigerator went out. As Lowe's I typically have a great experience with Lowe's in Dallas I looked online to see if they had any models that would fit the measurements of the enclosure. Upon finding one I decided to call the location in St. Robert to see if they had that model in stock. I was juggled about 6 times over 15 minutes before I got to someone that seemed to have an inkling of an idea of what they were doing and how to even check if one is in stock. Do they not get proper training to know how to do this? After finally getting to someone who was able to meander their way through the computer system to check over the phone with me, he informed me he had to go check the floor to make sure they had that model. He took my name and number and said he would call me back. I never received a call back, so I called them after about 15 minutes of waiting. Once again, I was bounced back and forth between about 6/7 different people. Each person made it seem as if it was a hassle to get me to the correct department or team member. When a Customer is purchasing an item that's costs thousands of dollars, I would think they should be excited about that sale, not act as if I'm an inconvenience to them. After speaking to the gentleman on the phone at length he said they had one in the warehouse that could be delivered, so I decided to go in and take a look in person to make sure it was something we wanted. After taking a look in person I purchased the refrigerator for Friday delivery on March 1st. This was extremely important as I flew out of town the next day and would not be there to move all of my mothers items into her refrigerator for her since she is still recovering from back surgery. So, Friday rolls around and no fridge. I call Lowe's and they said that the delivery date was moved to March 8th and gave no reason why. What the fuck? Why? They could not provide me with any information, other than the warehouse number. I called the warehouse, and they were unable to change the delivery date and told me to speak to Lowe's. This is just unacceptable customer service and I cannot believe anyone would shop at this Lowe's. I certainly never will again. I'd rather drive 30 miles to Rolla or Lebanon. I never have issues like this at the Lowe's in Dallas. read more

Avoid at all cost. It's worth the drive to Osage beach or Springfield to avoid the frustration. I bought A Lot of kitchen hardware a few weeks ago. Decided to go a different direction and a return is not possible because of the "system". No effort was made to get the system in line with reality. read more

Their curbside pick up is a joke. I ordered curbside pick up to avoid people. I opened my trunk just like any other place with curbside pick up. Now, I had ordered some curtain rods. I asked her AFTER she tried handing them to me "can you put it in the trunk please". I was told NO "because of Covid. We cannot enter vehicles." - more like NO I'm too lazy. Putting something into my trunk is NOT entering into a vehicle. She had more contact with me by requiring me to get out and physically take the items than if she had just placed them into the open trunk. Now the phone calls. I got passed from person to person. They don't know what in the world they are doing. I also made sure to check the policy. It is NOT against the policy to put items into a trunk during curbside pickup. MEANWHILE I watched another store associate load items into the BACK OF SOMEBODY ELSES VEHICLE. This isn't my first problem with this store either. I had gone in once before and asked two ladies where the ductwork would be. Should have been an easy and simple answer. NOPE. They told me to leave and call somebody that works on AC units because there isn't a better solution and boasting specific businesses. I just said okay and walked away and found an older man in lighting and I told him I needed to look at ductwork and I have walked around the store because the first two women I asked weren't helpful AT ALL. He asked what I was doing and between him and I hunting down a portable AC unit and talking back and forth over a picture I left with the plan I needed and came back with a truck for parts. The next guy I found back in lumber was also helpful when I was trying to explain what the first man and I spoke of. I handed him my measurements and he asked me if I needed one cut and he would cut it. What do you know, I didn't need to call an HVAC guy. My idea worked not only fine but fantastic and it has DECREASED my electric bill and I spent about, oh 50$ instead of a couple hundred and waiting DAYS for somebody to come to look at something because "there isn't a fast solution". - There was a solution, I had it, they were too lazy enough to not do their jobs. Something about the men in the store that just scream I WANT TO DO MY JOB. I stood in the garage section looking over openers. I was spotted from the END of the aisle by a man who asked "you look a little confused, do you need help?" - I was looking over the options they had and forgot the type of garage door we have at home. We talked it over and I settled on the door opener in 5 mins. Quick, easy, and knowledgable. Whereas the female employees had walked passed me a few times and never said anything before the gentleman EVEN saw me. Man in lumber, garage doors, and lighting GREAT JOB. Women of the store - freaking horrific nightmare. This is SAD to say considering I worked for MANY years in a male-dominated industry and now I understand when they came from Lowe's why they would demand to speak to a man. Retrain your women staff, this behavior isn't acceptable. Your male reps outshine them significantly and it is disheartening. read more

I wouldn't recommend this Lowe's to anyone...about 94% of the employee's do not know their department and when you call you get passed around from department to department and then get hung up on. You ask a simple question and the associates have NO CLUE what you are asking. Then locating someone in this store is like playing hide and seek...they see a customer and run the other way or act like they are working. I would rather drive out of my way to avoid this store. read more

Ordered for curb side pick up for a washer, dryer, and accessories. We called upon arrival and was told to wait in a stall and someone will be out shortly with the order. Approximately 40 minutes later, no one showed up so we went inside to speak to customer service and inquired about the order. The First Lady we spoke to was helpful and did what she could for is. She brought out the accessories and had someone go to the back for the rest of the order. She continuously apologized about this inconvenience. Upon getting home and unwrapping the washer, we had come to the realization that this, in fact, was the wrong washer. I had called back to Lowe's to let them know so I can go back to get the correct washer. This go around wasn't pleasant at all. The First Lady we had ran into was rude and offered no assistance with this matter. It was on me to unload the wrong washer they loaded and take it inside for this rude lady who magically disappeared and then take my own washer and load it. She did mention for me to bring back in the dolly that I used for this. Talk about grade A customer service right there. Not even an apology from them for this matter. We didn't bother to check serial numbers as the last name was on paper attached to the box(the first time). It's clear that next time I'll have to double check the employees work to ensure they are giving me the correct item as opposed to doing their job and actually working for their pay check. read more

This is the best Lowe's we've ever been to! We recently went to get pieces of carpet, rugs and linoleum. We were having a problem figuring out how to cover up disgusting carpet in a house we were renting. Misty and Ray took their time showing us different carpets and even brain stormed with us to come up with an affordable solution to our problem. Everyone in this store was super helpful and welcoming. I never felt lost, there was someone at every turn to greet us and help us find what we were looking for. read more

so i bought the broken case with the tools because the clerk said if i take those instead i might get discount and also im military so i ask for both discount but they said it's online only for discounts and the manager told cashier to give me 10% discount for the broken item but the cashier disagree and not even told me she's not giving me my 10%discount, not coming back here again, home depot it is next time, lowes need to be shut down read more

We spent $2300 for carpet and installation in January 2019. The carpet was installed improperly, there were actual holes in the carpet where you could see the blue padding below, every single seam is visible throughout the entire house. We had a master installer and inspector come out and see it and he stated that there were multiple issues with the installation and that the whole house had to be redone. We allowed Lowe's to come back out and attempt to fix the seams and holes and the seams are actually worse than before, the installer from Bill's (the contractor Lowe's used) assured us he could fix it, instead he shaved down the carpet leaving a now 3-4 inch wide line down the main living room and master bedroom. ALL of the seams are still visible! I have never been in a home where there are lines going through every room and every doorway. Absolutely unacceptable work. We were quoted $2900 to replace the carpet that Lowe's installed and Lowe's is saying that they cannot refund our money so that we may correct this problem that they created! I will NEVER use Lowe's for any kind of installation service again! read more

I have ALWAYS had superior service at this Lowe's location. Whenever I have had to return an item of have had a question they have been right there to respond. The knowledge of the sales force is incredible and I have made several purchases based on their recommendations, they've never disappointed me. Customer service is the best by far! Delivery and installation people are courteous and very professional. I will continue to do business with this store for as long as they keep up the good work. Really great crew! read more

Totally Impressed with management professionalism of the St. Robert Store, specifically Debbie in contractor sales. I have built new homes and remodeled for over 30 years and working with her is pleasantly refreshing experience over the past two years. Thank You. read more

In the past I have shopped a number of different home improvement or hardware stores - both 'big box' and 'mom-and-pop' and in general the service has been better at the smaller hardware stores, while the selection is better at the big box places. Since moving to Saint Robert, my options have been a little more limited. I've been to Lowes several times and the last few times I have been very impressed with the knowledge of the persons working there. They are always helpful, but now they are also knowledgeable - I've gotten great answers and solutions from the paint department, the lumber department, tools, and customer service is on the ball when it comes to returns and online order fulfillment. read more

On 16 March 2015, I went to Lowes to make a substantial purchase on supplies to finish our unfished basement. I was told everything would be ready for pickup 17 March 15, the following day. Upon my arrival I notice that everything was setting out and ready for pick up; I proceeded to pay. My Mother, Rosa Boeres, was with me at the time and asked an associate multiple times for assistance. I never once saw the associate ask or call for help and continued to watch us, (I, my husband, brother-in-law, father, and mother) load the $2800.00 dollars' worth of materials. This is also not the first time this has happed at this location. Every time we go to your store we can't get anyone to help load merchandise. There are more red vested workers than customers sometimes and still no help. As stated, I have even asked for help and it did not help. The customer service at this Lowes continues to become worse and worse, and this will be the last time I place a significant purchase. I would rather drive somewhere then be treated the way I have. read more
