The lady in paint department was more concerned with breaking down boxes than helping. A complete lack or urgency or even asking how she could help. You can't ever find an employee when you are trying to find something and if you are lucky enough to find one they act like you are bothering them. They only have self checkouts now and service is non existent. Rio Rancho Lowe's has gone way downhill and no longer cares about customer service! Very disappointing as it used to be fantastic. I wish I could give negative stars... Our refrigerator went out on May 7, so we urgently needed a replacement. My wife ordered a refrigerator through Lowe's website with a promised delivery date of May 14. She even took time off work to be home for the delivery. May 14 came and went, and we were suddenly told the refrigerator would not arrive until May 26. Then it was pushed back again to May 28. Now we are being told it will not arrive on the 28th either, with no actual delivery date available. We understand the refrigerator may have been a custom order, but if that's the case, why advertise and guarantee a delivery date you clearly cannot meet? The lack of communication and accountability has been unbelievable. Corporate customer service was completely unhelpful and essentially told us we were on our own. The only positive part of this experience was the Rio Rancho store manager, who sold us a $500 refrigerator for our garage just so our family could get by. We have a 16-month-old baby and cannot go weeks without refrigeration. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever dealt with. We will never use Lowe's again. read more

I went to Lowe's for wood laminate flooring installation. What a mistake. their installer is a company called Keller Interiors. I can find nothing about the company in Google or Yelp. Yes, I should have done more research, so my bad; but I did not expect a major company like Lowe's to contract with such a bunch of incompetent fools. 1. lack of communication. Didn't tell me they were permanently removing closet doors. Didn't tell me about extra $2 grand for levelling the floor. Didn't tell me about needing a plumber to reinstall the toilets. 2. can't tell time (show up 2-3 hours late, but really in a hurry on Friday evening) 3. Installation quality is adequate, but there are many things that are not up to my standards. 4. refusal to come back and fix problems. today is 4th time they are supposed to show up. Excuses include it snowed, we're busy, nobody told me. 5. damaged an antique dresser 6. did not clean up garage when done 7. rude and dismissive. I have a 1 year warranty so what's my hurry on getting the job finished. This is probably he last major home project in my life. PLEASE don't shop at Lowe's. Purchase Samsung Washing Machine in Nov 2024, less than 3 weeks later it stop working. Took it back to the store, and spoke with a manager. I was advised because I didn't purchase it with a Lowe's credit card, there return policy only allows for 48hr return policy. Never heard of a major / large company like Lowe's to only have a 48hr return policy on appliances. At least HomeDepot has a 30 day return policy. I bought a washing machine last night to be delivered today and they scheduled it and promised that it would be delivered today. The called today and said they will deliver it on Monday. 2 days late!!! I have no washer because our old one broke and am doing laundry by hand. The Manager Jose was no help. All he could do was apologize. Sorry, an apology does not fix my problem. Instead, take some action and make it happen. You have a delivery truck with plenty of space on it. I paid money for the service. Get it together Lowes!!! Never going back. Home Depot has employees that care. These guys are clowns. Canceled our cards back in 2019, asked why they couldn't say why. Well November of 2020 I called Lowe's again and complained, LOWES stated that they would check into it? I thought RIGHT!! Anyway on December 1, 2020 received a letter stating that my account was closed by ERROR! Reopened my account in November. Now here's my problem, when my account was closed and no answer of why, I cut up my Lowe's credit card! Here we go getting a replacement card with out the entire card number was another 45 Min. If they deliver to you and not have an invoice for a drop off or a pick up on the same delivery, " contactless " due to Covid-19, RED FLAG! I had to go to the store just to get proof, aside from my cameras. They couldn't find the washer and dryer I had Lowes pick up when dropping of another set. This took over 10 days to get squared away and they never put forth effort. I had to call customer service and they had to Contact the store. The sequence of events concerning floor installation from Lowes On September 25th at 2:30 pm, I requested a floor installation quote. xxxx assisted me with the detailed expectation sheet. I was told that the installer would call me to schedule for measurements. When I arrived home around 3 pm I noticed that my old home phone number was on the document and therefore called Eric to make the correction in Lowe's computer system and was informed that it was changed. On October 5th I went back to Lowes to ask about the status of my quote. The person in the flooring department tried to call the installer but was unable to make contact and gave me their number to try later. I called the installer and left a message. On October 12th I again went to Lowe's to ask about the quote. I was informed that my old number did not change in the computer system and that the installer had called that number several times. At this time, I talked to the store manager about my concerns. Also, at this time the floor supervisor, xxxx, was present and ensured me this would be resolved. xxxx did follow up to ensure the right phone number was provided to the installer. On Friday, October 18th the installed came to my house to get measurements for the quote. On October 22nd I had to call to see if the quote was ready and it was. Why wasn't I called? On October 23rd, I went to Lowe's to review the quote. I worked with xxxx and he profusely apologized for my situation. On October 24th, I returned to Lowe's and paid for the quote. I was informed Lowes would have to order the wood and would call me for delivery when it arrived. On November 6th the installed called me and wanted to schedule the installation. He asked if the materials were delivered and I told him that they have not. He told me to call the store because the wood needs to acclimate before installation and this takes several days. On November 6th I called the store and talked to the assistant manager. I explained the situation and he informed me the wood was in the store. He arranged for delivery for Thursday, November 7th. Once again Lowes failed to provide me quality customer service. Why did I have to call? because this store is unable to provide proper customer care. On November 7th the wood arrived. My daughter was home to receive it and asked for it to be placed upstairs but was informed that the wood was on a pallet and they couldn't do her request. The wood was placed in my garage. Why wasn't the wood moved into my residence? If my car was home in the garage would the delivery be dropped off in my driveway? That evening I noticed several materials were not delivered with the wood. Installers arrived and I am seriously concerned about their installation to the point that a Lowe's flooring person should come out and examine it but this store has washed their hands of this situation. read more

Unfortunately, this was a mistake, as the selection of materials is lackluster at best. We had fantastic help from an associate named Emily but could not fulfill our needs with the quality and stock on location. I have never had a problem with this location before, and I will still continue not to have a problem unless I ever have to deal with Leslie again. She was in the customer service section and was "alright", when we had to ask her a question. She was helpful, but then she was told to move to cashier and help check out customers at the cash register next to the customer service area and everything went downhill from there. That was the worst encounter I have ever had with a cashier. She was rude, snarky attitude, and just didn't want to check out my items. Is this the integrity Lowes really wants? Do yourselves a favor management and take care of this toxic person. I also had a coupon signing up for the advantage card through Lowe's, and it specifically states "Save $30 off your first purchase with your new Lowe's advantage card", which I had brought up with Leslie and she rudely tells me that on the bottom line that states "if your purchase is $299 or more you can select promotional financing instead of this discount" and says that I have to spend $299. Which is ridiculous because it obviously gives the customer a choice. I point this out to her, and she just rudely tells me, "no this will not work and you need to spend $299". Lowe's, find someone literate and will actually treat your customers correctly. At this point we are finished dealing with her and we actually went to Earnest of the gardening section, which by the way he is fantastic! This man deserves a raise, promotion, award, any of the above. He went out of his way to someone at the customer service desk and made sure we were taken care of for this coupon, the correct way. He actually read the coupon, took his time out from his project he was working on, and gave sincere customer service. He even stayed with us to make sure we were taken care of, you deserve an applause Earnest! read more

I had to select star or it would not let me post this. But believe me when I say one star is WAY more than they deserve. My wife purchased a washer and dryer from the Lowes store in Rio Rancho, NM, three weeks ago, and was promised to deliver and install on THEIR scheduled delivery date Memorial Day 2020. We came home a day early from our vacation to be here for their delivery. Nobody showed up for the delivery, ALL DAY LONG, AND NOBODY CALLED TO TELL US THEY WOULD NOT BE HERE !!! When we called the store for information we got transferred to extensions, (through their auto attendant), that RNA, (Ring No Answer). When we finally got some one to answer the phone she transferred us to someone who would not answer the phone, (RNA). So we called back and finally got the same young lady who told me I didn't need to yell, (I was on a speaker phone). I called again and asked her to transfer me to a manager. She transferred me and ----- you guessed it ----- RNA. I'm in the buisness of telecom and I build auto attendant systems, (aka Call Trees), in healthcare, and so I know what I'm hearing with the constant transfers, and that's how I KNOW how their system was built to deflect customers from complaining. At one point she transferred me to an extension that rang several times and then HUNG UP ON ME !!! The sad thing is, this is not the first time we have had this experience with Lowes in Rio Rancho. So --- My wife goes to the store and talked to customer service, apparently the "older lady", (not the young lady who kept transferring us to infinity), who is very interested in making sure we remain customers and will get the manager to help my wife. The manager tells my wife that one of the two appliances was not available so we were not on the promised delivery schedule. Again, NOBODY CALLED US TO TELL US THAT !!! (Remember, we came home a day early to be here for their promised delivery and install). My wife tells me that the store manager on duty at the time was very helpful and in the end was able satisfy our issues, but my wife had to GO TO THE STORE to get this service. In our current world of social distancing, to go to a store to get this resolved is simply not acceptable. Lowes Rio Rancho, you seriously need to get this resolved. read more

Ordered an AC unit on 8/2 on line for delivery on 8/4. Kept checking order status which said order was delayed, but they were working on it called the store on 8/11, and was told to call the delivery company which I did. They reported that the order was not pulled on 8/4 when the truck arrived and to call the store back to speak with the manager, which I did. He checked into it and said no problem it was on hand and would be pulled and scheduled for delivery 8/12. Yesterday 8/11 I received an email cancelling my order due to lack of product, and suggested I check other stores. Since it was an online order I would have thought that would be handled. Now today i am looking for a new dishwasher and went to Home Depot but they have none in stock. I have to order. Guess the group chatting about movies or Star Wars or something was too busy and the 30 minutes the other employee spent with the one other customer was more important to. Must be a sign. We love our Northern Blvd Rio Rancho store. Very helpful staff in all departments. we have spent thousands of dollars in this store. However, there was a huge problem at checkout. There was two checkouts open. When I came to one of them she closed it and said she would be at the first one. There were three people in that line with the first with a big basket. Then there was a price override asking for manager. We went all the way out to the garden center for checkout. I should have received 20% discount but they refused to give it to me. The discount did, however, show up online in My Cart as a 20% discount. The parking lot is gigantic so there is always space for everyone. I also choose the paint type. There were some particulars about my paint choice that we were unaware about. Instead of helping us, Jeff decided to speak to us in a condescending manor. Or, should I say he told off my Mother in Law that happens to be a senior. We just wanted to be helped as a paying customer. More over, men should be gentlemen to women. We come to this Lowe's a lot. We live in the area and it's our closest store. Everyone is always super helpful, store is clean, and they typically have what we need. This past summer they helped me get all the supplies to make a sandbox for my daughter. They carried all the supplies and loaded them in my car. They've helped us make chalkboards, tables, select the right paint, get our garden up and running and many other of the shenanigans I get myself into! The delivery team, Randy and Rich, were very professional and courteous. They even had a sense of humor! The two salesmen at the store, only remember one name, Art. This review isn't location specific but it is service specific. I recently called for a roofing estimate. A date and time was set up for the estimator come take a look. When the day and time came, the estimator called me, said she had measured my roof online and there was no need for her to come out. Then she quoted me price that was about 2k higher than the other estimates I had received. I was told that Lowe's is competitive and will usually match other companies pricing but when told her what the other guys were offering she said that there is no way they were giving me honest estimates. She even even accused even them of leaving off labor or supply costs to get the low estimates. In the end she told told me she would check with the contractor and call me the next day to let me know the outcome. It's been a week and no call back. Very unprofessional. read more

I stood at the paint desk watched 15 employees walk past me and ignore me for 20 minutes. Ive never been so upset. We bought Milgard window replacements for out home from this Lowe's. They had sub-contractors install the three windows. One of the guys put a good size hole in the dry wall just under one of the windows, they blamed it on termites! We called them back out for this and because they got stuff on the windows that just wouldn't wash off and the screens on one of the windows didn't fit right to small. So they scraped off the stuff they got on the windows and the instructions clears say not to use a razor blade on these windows yet it was done, and for the screens just turned them all around and called it fixed. They also leaked in other words let in the dirt and we called them out again. Told us all windows leak some and left slamming doors like two year olds and these people are suppose to be professionals. So the sales rep from Lowes was contacted again and he didn't see to it that Milgard was contacted so we ended up doing that after messing with this for a week or more. We emailed and they contacted us the same day and had a tech out the next fixed the dirt leaks no problem we are waiting for the new screens Lowes only gets two stars because the sales rep isn't very responsive and they pretty much aren't honoring their end of the warranty. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We bought a stove from Lowes online. A week before it was to be delivered I went into the store to arrange for an install. The guy in the appliance department was so put off that he had to get on the computer and schedule this, you would have thought that I had asked him for a kidney! The whole time he kept sighing and was so grumpy. The next day the installer called us and scheduled a consultation appointment to see what parts he would need. He never showed up! He finally called me back after leaving him several messages and said he forgot about the appointment. After the consultation appointment (he remembered to show up this time) he rescheduled the install appointment twice. Then he came late, did not properly install it and scratched up my Travertine tile floor!! After he left, the stove kept making a ticking sound like when you try to light the pilot and the whole house smelt like gas. We had to turn off the gas and disconnect the stove. Called Lowes today and was put on hold, transferred a couple times and then was disconnected. No resolution yet! read more
