Paid Lowes to put new windows and doors on my moms house. They installed windows but left the doors unfinished for 2 months. Anyone could get in, rain can get in and die to the exposed rusty nails my niece cut her finger badly. Who waits 2 months to finish a job?? Now I've waited all day again because they're supposed to come back and finish the job and of course they're no shows. Mark Millican Construction is who Lowes subbed the job out to. I was searching for some gutter extensions and smart fans. The store app said both items were in stock. The gutter extensions were no where to be found nor was any employee. Found the fan, which appeared to be a return, which explains the discount. Proceeded to check out, ah yes the checkout option for military discount never works for me. I always have to have someone come over and verify. Why in the hell do these places refuse to hire enough people to use manual checkouts! Not one dime of the savings is passed on to the consumer and it isn't going to shareholders. Anyways I get home and go to install the fan only to find out it's missing pieces!! Wtf lowes! Wow, I was very impressed! The customer service on the phone, Jennifer was very pleasant! I wanted her to check an item before I drove all the way to Palm Bay. She was very kind and she walked to the aisle to see if the product was actually there. It was! She came back to the phone to say she put them back behind the counter for me with my name on them for me to come and pick up and pay. While I was there, I decided to look for some more items for my project and of course eventually spent several hundred dollars more!!! These days it is hard to find a store that has enough product on the shelves! Even the cashier at checkout had a smile, and was very pleasant to the other customers in line as well as myself. I ordered new doors for my front and back, back in February 2023. 10 Months later still have not been completed. I'm now forced to contact my local news and possibly an attorney. Today I rec'd a call stating the 26th the trim might be in. Something needs to be done now. I was receiving a delivery of $2500.00 in appliances. I was to receive the order between 4 pm and 8 pm. When I arrived there was a notice on my door that said the delivery service was at the home at 10:30 am. I called the freight company and held for 1 1/2 hours and was disconnected. We had a remodeling project that lasted several years. We had purchased material from both Lowes and Home Depot in 2020. I took the item we never used to Home Depot, and they issued a store credit. However, the Lowes representative said they do not accept returns after 30 days. i asked for a store credit and they refused. I know our project lasted longer than most but, how many can be completed in 30 days or less? Home Depot will be getting all of our business from now on. read more

Purchased a washer and dryer , was charged for two washers and it was such a pain to constantly battle management and multiple employees to prove I needed a washer and a dryer not two washers and get the right appliances delivered . Then giving this store the benefit of the doubt , I took advantage of the cyber sale and bought a new fridge . A week later , a day before scheduled delivery they stated the fridge was backorderd and did Not know when it would be back in stock . Once a very happy customer for personal and my business needs. No longer. Ordered Hurricane shutters in June of 2018. Waited several months only to be told upon installation that shutters were mis-measured and/or needed parts missing or not ordered. Not only that but the re-install would not be scheduled until the parts come in with no idea when parts would come in. When we called back a couple of weeks, no one had ordered parts. Long story short, when parts came in, rather than expediting the install, we were put at the bottom of the list. By this time we had gone through one hurricane season and were coming up on the end of year holidays. Several calls and discussions with local and corporate later, we were assured that job would be completed properly and completely in early Jan. 2019 . Two weeks ago the install was "completed". It was completed in a manner that the actual on-site installer before this last install attempt had said it shouldn't be done. A short cut was taken that the earlier installer had informed us might pass permit inspection but that was not the correct way to do it and that his company (D A T Install) would not approve. Guess what. We notified Lowes, once again, of the issues. A Lowes employee came out to document the issues said she would get back to us. Two weeks later on 2-8-19 (yes, February of 2019) not having had any response from either the local store or corporate, I began the round of phone calls again. Lowes Customer care promised quick followup, local Lowes of Palm Bay promised quick followup, D A T Install wouldn't discuss the topic with us directly other than to say that their man explained everything to my wife upon completion. Of course, they left out the fact that my wife was not home at the time of completion. So, here we are NINE MONTHS later and still waiting for some sort of satisfaction. Much as we would rather not be having to air our grievances publicly, Lowes has left us no choice. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I ordered a Generex generator to be installed . Gave them a check for over $10,000. found I could save a few thousand if I just bought the generator my self and had it installed my self. Cancelled the sale and stopped payment on my check. never received the Generator, a few weeks later I get a letter from a collection agency they wanted $10,000 plus $500. for a bounced check. Their scheduling for pickup and delivery was a disaster and they kepr trying to deliver product i already receieved they tried to pickup product that had been picked up and replacement delivered. * We purchased a stove and refrigerator in Lowes on a Sunday and arranged to have the latest possible delivery the following Monday, something the salesman and cashier said would not be a problem, they even put a note on the sales slip. The delivery service called that night and I told them the same thing. I arranged to take off work early that day. On Monday at 10 AM I get a call from them that they are at my house, when I brought up the late delivery issue the driver became rude and said I was his last delivery for that day, I told him we had to reschedule for the following day, and I had to miss work to do that. I got the items that Tuesday. Within in day we knew the refrigerator was garbage, it sounded like a dryer running and never cut off. The following Sunday we returned to Lowes to get a refund and upgrade to a better refrigerator, this was on 7/1/18, we arranged for a early morning delivery on Monday 7/2/18 again having to adjust work. The night before they never called me to confirm so I called them and they told me I was on for 9:30-11:30. A couple hours later I get a text saying my delivery would be 2:30-4:30 and I called them back, the same girl that had previously confirmed the early appointment told me they had rescheduled me and became rude when I pleaded my case. She refused to let me speak to a supervisor. When I asked for another day and time she said they couldn't promise me anything at that time. The next morning I called Palm Bay Lowes and spoke to "Kevin" a manager, he seemed very understanding and told me it would be on the 7/4/18 truck, on the morning of 7/3/18 I got a voicemail from "Shawn" who was calling to see when I wanted my refrigerator delivered!! I called back and he was not there and Kevin was not in yet and told my story to yet another manager (forgot name) and he was talking to an office lady who was supposed to be in charge of delivery, he could find no record of me being on the Wednesday truck. As of the time writing this I am in limbo .... July 4th and we finally got our refrigerator. We still need a washer and a dryer and more home improvement supplies but I don't think I have the courage to risk dealing with Lowes again and will have to try other companies. read more

From their water pumps to house brand tools are all junky quality. Sometimes, they have better prices than home depot and their credit card gives better rewards them HD as well. BE CAREFUL. Please Read This : We were installing a shower door purchased at Lowe's on Malabar Road when it EXPLODED. My husband was mildly INJURED obtaining cuts from head to toe. We were brushed off and by no exaggeration, lied to, by store employees and the store manager when we contacted them. We received no refund, and no safety follow up. We DID find reviews where other people had the same experience with this make and model and were seriously INJURED!! Lowe's will not take responsibility. I would give this a zero if it would let me. I made an online order for almost $1,000 and needed it delivered to my home. Within minutes, Lowe's canceled my order with no explanation. I went to the other Lowe's closer to my home and told an employee what happened. The employee told me that coworkers there cancel orders all the time to avoid getting backed up or when they dont feel like completing an order. read more

I entered the store at 745pm and returned two items - the blinds were in my cart / the plan was to complete the return and then head to the blinds dept - the night manager looked in my basket and said we don't take back cut blinds - I told her I wasn't returning the blinds rather coming in to have them cut - she then said well I don't have a cutter available - I said well let's hope you do - I got to the blind sept and after a 15-minute wait a guy showed up and said yeah I can cut the blinds but our machine is down... final straw / walked back to front and returned - this Lowe's is not interested in helping anyone! read more

The store itself is OK but my experience purchasing blinds at Lowe's was not. I ordered a couple of blinds for my windows in August 2014. First, I had to go back to Lowe's 3 times because the lady who was in charge of ordering blinds was not there the first 2 times I went there and no one else knew how to order a pair of blinds. Then, when I finally met with that lady (she was friendly, at least), I spent 5 hours waiting for her to order the blinds - she didn't know how to work on the computer! Finally, I was told my blinds would be delivered and installed 2 weeks later - 6 weeks later, the installer came to my house and the blinds were the wrong size! They had to re-order new ones, and no one ever called me to let me know they were ready... Another 8 weeks later, I called Lowe's and they said they had received my blinds - Then the next day, they called me and said they can't find them - Finally, a week later, the installer called me and said they have found my blinds and we made an appointment for him to come install them a week later (he wasn't available before). The installer showed up late, not shaved, smelling cigarettes, not looking professional at all, and he got angry (didn't say anything but his face showed it) when I told him he was late and that it was not rocket science to order and install 2 regular blinds. Total time to have 2 blinds installed on my windows: 4 months! Unsat! read more

Driver, John, calls me and says 1, I say OK. Drivers calls back and says 230 because there was an emergency delivery or something for SOMEONE ELSE!! Now its 3:30 on a beautiful Saturday and I still haven't seen my delivery. They are worse than a cable company for deliveries and its my last order guaranteed!! read more
