In-store service : 5 Stars Delivery Service: 0 Stars ( im a health care provider I had to go home to check up on my family member due to be feeling unwell after the bad experience they received) Had a family member to receive new appliance. Delivery driver had a foul mouth , disrespecting a family member just for asking a question . For approximately 20 minutes. It is deliver driver job to install appliances if fee was paid , but instead this unprofessional man was cussing , and mad that he had "to work" and stated he was being harassed by an elderly family Member . My family member was scared and not comfortable with ruthless human ,being inside the home . (Luckily everything was recorded on security footage incase things escalated) Appliance was also delivered out of it's box (had only styrofoam on the corners)and protective film had been removed I hope Lowe's is doing background checks when hiring, professional people. This individual only spoke Spanish using profanity and broken English . Definitely not a professional human . Whelp... that didn't go as planned. (Review is for installation service) TL;DR version Timeline: Feb 4 - April 29 -Went shopping for a new kitchen sink -Mother picked out one she liked -We inquired about a service installation. Got all the details and started the process -Contract plumber arrived to set up a quote for installation -Date for installation was set -Plumber came to install but failed due to size differences -All items and material were sent back -Requested a new sink to fit dimension and reschedule installation -I have received a total of 20 calls from Lowes store and installation support between March 13th - April 28th -Sink was not installed and refund was made Detailed version During the beginning of February my mother wanted to check out options to upgrade her kitchen sink. We visited Lowes and she found one that she really liked. Being curious we checked to see if Lowes had an installation service. After speaking with the representative he said yes and we started the process. A $40 payment for the quote was needed to have a contracted plumber take a look at our current setup and gather information of what would be needed. 11 days from the start of process the contracted plumber arrived to start the quote. He was very friendly, professional, and informative. There were some additional items that was suggested while upgrading the sink and we were willing to accept the upgrades. All of my additional questions were answered and the next steps was for them to send their report to Lowes and us to complete the purchase. There was a slight delay for Lowes receiving the quote. 1 week has passed and now we visited the store to make the payment. An option for the contractor to pick up the sink and materials was available but it comes with an additional charge of $70. We opted out and agreed to take home the sink and material during our visit. There happened to be some sort of miscommunication with the representative as they added the pick up charge anyways. While reviewing the invoice I caught that and said we didn't want to pay extra to have it picked up. It seems to remove that the entire order would need to be canceled and the order would need to be redone. The representative made it work for us with the pick up included. The installation was scheduled for 1 week later. Plumbers arrived with sink and additional materials. They went to work. As they were installing the sink they noticed the sink did not fit properly. After a couple of phone calls with their lead it was decided the sink could not be installed. Since the expected result was an installed sink I asked "what are the next steps? What can I do to have a new sink installed?". The plumber recommended a different sink with the same style. Unfortunately the dimensions he recommends is not common and variety is limited. The following day I received a phone call from Lowes installation support. They have been informed of the situation and assisted with the next steps. This group seemed to be the middle point in contact between customer and store to follow up on status and keep the customer up to date. From March 13 - April 28 there were 11phone conversations from Lowes installation support. From April 11 - April 29 there were 9 phone conversations from Lowes Store There were 2 change addendums signed. My mother received many charges and returns on the card she used for purchase. During my final conversation with the installation support I felt out of options and asked them for advice. They didn't have anything positive to say. After that the store called and informed the service was a failure and a refund will take place. Within about 2 months of time some money was passed around, multiple people were talked to, and the job was not complete. Do not recommend -mic drop- read more

I personally went to ask again and came across Marcy who has a bad attitude. At her grown age, she should not be in customer service if she does not want to acknowledge customers. Customer service as a whole is horrible. We ended up leaving our items behind because there was no point in purchasing without having everything we needed. As a small business owner running a catering company, time is everything. I stopped by Lowe's recently for a quick purchase--a ladder I clearly saw priced at $59 in aisle 17. But at the register, it rang up as $99. I brought it to the associate's attention, and Nilda asked me to go back and take a picture of the price tag. I did exactly that--capturing both the tag and the product placement, which showed multiple ladders under the same $59 price. When I returned, Nilda acknowledged the pricing discrepancy and said she needed manager approval. That's when Manager Monique came over, and the entire experience took a disappointing turn. Despite seeing the matching SKUs and acknowledging the incorrect price tag, Monique was resistant to honoring what was clearly a store error. She even pretended to call someone for "approval" and gave me a dismissive attitude, as if I were making the whole thing up. Thankfully, another manager named David went to verify the tag and confirmed it was indeed a misprice. He even removed the tag. But still, Monique dragged the process out for over 20 minutes--for something that could've been resolved quickly and respectfully. Her demeanor lacked any sense of urgency, empathy, or customer-centricity. The frustrating part isn't just the delay--it's the principle. I had the evidence. Their team confirmed the issue. And still, I was made to feel like I was being dishonest. As someone who values professionalism and efficiency, especially while juggling client commitments, this experience was a complete letdown. This is exactly why brick-and-mortar stores are struggling. When employees act like they're doing customers a favor by simply doing their job, they fail to build trust or loyalty. Employees like Monique should be reminded they're fortunate to have a job--especially one that hasn't been replaced by automation or AI, which would have resolved this situation far more efficiently and without the attitude. I don't enjoy writing reviews like this. In fact, I regularly use Yelp to spotlight amazing restaurants and businesses that go above and beyond with their service. So writing this review was truly disappointing, but necessary--because customer service matters. And this location, unfortunately, fell far short. read more

1 star for customer service worker- Aracely. I asked her to page someone for me because I needed assistance on the grills... she pointed at two guys and said: "they can help you"... I told her they had already ignored me because they were busy and asked if she can page a manager... she said "she will" but when I stood there waiting she said: "I'm not going to page them.... ill call them".... again, i stood there and waited. She proceeded to give me attitude and said: "those two are the managers" (but it was her condescending tone and bad attitude that really annoyed me). I walked away and asked another employee by the name of: For a manager, and she actually asked if there qas anything she can assist me with.... she was so helpful!! Well the post on their app that that they have stuff in store that they don't have You can talk to the associate but they will just give you a look like you're an idiot and walk away You can thennnnn go and shop around around and bring it to the register At which time associates won't look for the barcode And don't worry if it said 50% off it won't be applied at checkout since they will just say oh it was misplaced This place is so disorganized and so unilaterally rude That it's like an actual home reduction Also the value here is absolute trash - maybe it's because they keep bringing up how much money they are "giving" away as corporate write offs but the in store selection is like hardly there as well. I really enjoy coming to Lowe's and looking at the pretty plants. ended up purchasing this little ficus w/ its beautiful painted pot along with a Chinese money plant. Also had to buy an another new pot, a mister, and a water jug. I got discounted $2 off the money plant so it ended being $4. Such a good bargain. That's good service for you! read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Today, 7-10-25, my son and I went to Lowe's to get material to repair our wooden gate. I don't like asking associates for help because they make every effort to not make eye contact with you, walk away when they see you approaching or give you the "It's on isle XYZ" line and pretend to be busy. Today was no different. I needed wire snips and asked an associate standing by the tool section for that specific tool. Instead of physically showing me where they were, she hemmed and hawed then said it would be in isle 27 (or something like that). We went there and of course that isle had no wire snips and had to ask another associate who dismissively said, "Look in the tool area!" Which we did and found them. I needed a piece of wood cut into sections. An associate said I needed to pay for the wood then they would cut it. When I got to the register, the cashier said to go get it cut first. I told her what the other associate said, so she charged me but had an attitude. Then she sent us to the back of the store to get the wood cut. We waited for over 15 minutes until another passing associate asked if we needed wood cutting. I said, "Yes!" and he told me to push a button by the saw. I did but no one came. Finally between me calling customer service on the phone for assistance and my son asking other associates for help, 15 mins later Andrew came to cut the wood. Although Andrew was polite, this seems to be the norm with this store's associates not wanting to help. read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Your associate Desi in plumbing is very rude and inconsiderate. He refused to look up an item that we needed to order and basically left us to look it up on the Lowe's app. He walked away shaking his head , talking under his breath,refused to give his name and refused to call a supervisor and was very disrespectful to me and my wife. I was told at the time of purchase that there was a 90-day return policy, which is the only reason I felt comfortable buying. When I came back to return the item, I was suddenly told the policy was only 48 hours. That is a huge difference and feels very misleading. To make matters worse, when I tried to explain the situation, the managers were dismissive, ignored what I was saying, and literally turned away to start helping another customer. No attempt was made to resolve the issue or even acknowledge the misinformation I was given. Extremely unprofessional behavior and poor customer service. Order never arrived, waited all day for my counter top and door and when I called they just told me they decided to move it to the 27th because they didn't have a truck/the door was damaged while loading into the truck/ the door arrived damaged to the store. kitchen cabinets are too expensive and then you only have 72 hours to notify them if there is a mistake otherwise they charge 20% restocking fee. Maricella is not thorough and has condescending bad attitude and I always felt dejected working with her. Then after about a year of deciding on cabinets she said I never told her i added a window and she blamed me the upper cabinet ordered was too big to fit. The window was added way early in the process. She is not good at her job and refused to swap out the cabinet because it was over 72 hours. So anoying and depressing. Unfortunately my family has done all our appliance purchases at Lowe's, a trend that won't continue. I am trying to get a cash return on an item that I didn't accept, went in this morning was told to come back because they needed to look at cameras? I said sure no problem, when I returned with my receipt and refund card they asked for something else and was told the only manager who could process wouldn't be in for a week. Unsurprisingly, Jeff never returned my call, which speaks volumes about the service at this location. My initial visit to the store was equally disappointing. At the returns desk, I asked to speak with a manager, but the girl working there rudely informed me that I couldn't ask for a manager without a reason. When I finally spoke to the head cashier, Arlin, he claimed there were no managers on duty. It turns out there was an assistant manager, Raul, on duty the entire time. This table is perfect for our smaller of two backyard patios. Not the one we had originally picked out at the Lowe's closest to us; not in stock at both Santa Clarita locations. So my wife tried searching for it at the Pacoima Lowe's a bit further out. Not there either, but what we did decide on was the one shown in the photo. Much nicer and they had 8 of them in stock. Plus this table has a smoother surface, just right for outdoor dining, reading or lounging around with family and friends. We will get through this wretched Covid virus soon! More stable and larger than the other table its replacing, it should hold up better with the new umbrella we recently purchased in the strong winds we experience here in Santa Clarita. The other table would just topple over, even with the umbrella closed and tied shut. We replaced the umbrella base as well for a much heavier one. Summer outdoor barbecue get togethers, we're ready! read more

This is pretty much your standard Lowe's. It's a very large home improvement store. It's got tools, garden stuff, appliances. In other words, exactly what you would expect. So why the five star review? Let me explain... I came here to get some washable, cut-to-size air filters. Lowe's website showed there were plenty in stock at this location. When I got there, I was pleasantly surprised to find lots of staff available to direct me to the right aisle. (Getting someone to help you at Home Depot is like pulling teeth.) But when I get to the air filters section, it's not there. Luckily, there was another Lowe's team member just around the corner ready to help. He looked up the bin number on his device and confirmed they had them in stock, but they weren't on the shelf. BUT he had an idea - maybe they were moved to the air conditioning section but the bin number wasn't updated in their system? BINGO! He walked me over, and I got the air filters no problem. Paid $1,996 for blinds and paid for Lowe's installer to measure. They measured, store called me to tell me measurements were in and to come pay money. I did. They installed and one of blinds blocks kitchen cabinet from opening. In other words, if you open that kitchen cabinet door, it will damage the door and knock the blinds off their brackets. Called installer, they said they did their job and I have to deal with Lowes since they sold me the blinds. Called Lowes, could not get through, went there, someone called me back and said they would follow up. No one ever followed up. Call customer "service" center, they could not even find my $1,996 order in their records and said I would have to deal with the store since I bought blinds in store and it's "in a separate system." Finally, ,I had to look up the order and then customer service was, finally, able to find it. We're into this with more than 3 hours and still no blinds that work. The real person to blame is me, I should have known not to order ANYTHING installed by this outfit. read more
