This Lowe's location is always impressively clean. The floors are spotless with no debris or trash in sight, and the restrooms are not only very clean but also smell fresh--which is rare and appreciated! While it would be nice to see the occasional toilet tissue or paper towel dispenser fixed and the lighting could be a bit brighter in some areas, those are minor compared to the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the store. What really stands out is the staff. Every employee I've encountered has been genuinely happy and pleasant. They consistently greet customers with a cheerful "good morning" or "good afternoon," which makes shopping here a more positive experience. A well-maintained store with a friendly team--Lowe's is doing it right! read more

You suck! Your website says you have 53 sheets of beadboard, we drive down here and you have 3 and they're beat to shit! Do better!!

Wow. Incredible. Incredibly POOR service. This was the third time at this Lowe's (trying to give it a few chances as it is my local Lowe's). But three strikes and you're out. The management at this store obviously doesn't care about customer service or else they would actually HIRE employees to serve customers. This visit we waited 30 minutes in appliances and kitchen design for anyone to show up. We went to the front three times to ask for help. They paged someone to help us and no one showed up. We walked up and down aisles 1-10 and 28-34 looking for anyone and there was no one. Terrible terrible customer service. We were going to spend $1800 on a bath vanity and a kitchen appliance. No way. We will give our business to someone else. 5 other customers walked up to appliances in 35 minutes while we waited and all 5 walked away. read more

Lowe's Home Improvement - Hardware Stores Near Me - New Castle, Delaware

I like Lowe's much better than Home Depot. Lowe's has whatever you're looking for no matter your budget. Unlike Home Depot that only has one or two choices. The prices are right for me and the employees are friendly and helpful. read more

This store has some great deals, it has everything I need for my home and the employees are great. Love this lowes.

How does a hardware store that has all kinda part have a broken bathroom no locks on doors That's leaking this is poor management

It doesn't seem like anyone here really knows anything about home improvements and the type of equipment you might be looking for. You would expect someone to have some level of trade knowledge to work here but apparently not. read more

This Lowe's location always has ample parking & a clean lot. The employees are always cheerful, helpful & if they are unsure of what I am looking for or where to find it, they find the right person to assist me. I live near the Bear location, but prefer shopping at this Lowe's store. read more

We recently had a fence installed by a Lowes contractor. It took over for months to have this done from the time that a Lowes representative came to our home for a consultation to the time that the fence was installed. The person who delivered the wood said that he would not be able to get the wood on to our lawn and that the only place that he could leave it was on the parking space in front of our lawn. The wrong type of wood was delivered and the wrong style fence was installed. Several of the pieces of wood were warped, and had cracks on them. The lock gate lock was crooked and the fence was uneven. My husband had to call Lowes six times before we were able to have the contractor come back to re-do the fence. Now on the new fence, one of the beams has a crack on it, the gate does not close well and there is mold on several wood planks. When I asked the contractor about the mold he said " the wood comes from Lowes. It was probably sitting outside. That will wash away when it rains." Needless to say that it did not wash away. We have given Lowes all of our business and are extremely dissatisfied with the way that this situation was handled and with the quality of the work and materials that we received. This is our second bad experience with Lowes. There will not be a third. read more

It's a pretty good Lowe's if you ask me. A lot of parking, a decent selection, and friendly employees. And for some reason Lowe's seems to lack the sketchy crowd that seems to perpetually roam the Home Depot parking lot down the street, so that is a big plus. read more

Poor customer service especially on a Sunday. Worst LED bulb selection in area esp compared to HD. Kids on the floor clueless and texting and messing around. Best to go during the week when there seems to be deeper trades experienced employees to help. I still come here because it's convenient and will continue to use this store but with low expectations as always. read more

I love lowes. Its supposed to be a home improvment store but they sell everything. This particular store is very clean. The aisles and the bathrooms are immaculate. They also sell water and gatorade and the prices are very reasonable. read more

Had a fence installed not pleased with the 11 inch gaps under my fence, the whole process was horrible this Lowe's has poor customer service, they assign you a project coordinator. Not once have I spoke to her within the 8 weeks I waited for the fence to be installed after being told it would be 3 weeks. Will never give any Lowe's company my business. Horriable experience THEY DONT CARE ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY!!!! AVOID Having projects done through them read more

Was shopping for a washer/dryer set a few weeks ago, at night close closing time. Got excellent customer service from Tara. Though there was not enough time to verify both were in stock, she called me the next day to tell me that, unfortunately, one was not in stock. However, she patiently helped me find one that met my criteria and was in stock, so I could make a purchase the next day. Thanks much, Tara :) read more

I bought my first house and needed many items to get settled in. There were many employees who assisted me in locating my items, checking in the storeroom for items and loading large items into my car. I've been to other stores where I've waited without anyone helping me or trying to sell me the wrong item. If someone wasn't familiar with a product they found someone to help. read more

If you are looking for a nonchalant, rude, unprofessional, disastrous experience with buying an appliance, this is your store! After 10 days, 3 delivery dates, and numerous follow-up unproductive telephone calls, we still didn't receive our appliance. Lowe's is aware of their third party vendor that they use for deliveries as being "crappy" but they still use them. When we discussed our issues about the delivery team (who at one point called and stated that they were 15 minutes away, only to call back 30 minutes later and say that they were stopped by the cops and our item was being confiscated and for us to call the store about our product) with the manager, we were told "sorry you came into the store though it was nice to meet you , but this isn't our fault, XPO Logistics needs to compensate and do something about this." It was as if we hired the third party vendor ourselves and we were responsible for our item not making its way to our home. Terrible experience and rude management. It seems as if they have so many other sales that your one sale doesn't mean anything to their store. Instead of their slogan being "Do it right for less", it needs to be "Do it wrong for sure!" read more

HATE THIS PLACE..Sat on hold for 8 mins and it sounded like they just put the phone down and said fuck it. How do you have no knowledge of whats going on with your job, they are just dumb and ignorant at this location. read more

This Lowe's is off US-13 N. Dupont Highway, near the DMV. Parking never seems to be a problem here because they have their own parking lot and this parking lot seems to be bigger than they ever need. I've been to both Home Depot and Lowe's in New Castle and I have to say that of the two, Home Depot has a greater selection of items. However, Lowe's itself has quite a selection of hardware and their prices are competitive. They have clearance items mingled with regular items so shop thoroughly. In my experience, I found their sales staff to be very helpful. read more

First time at this Lowes location for an online order pick-up but will be my last. The moment I got to the pickup counter everything went wrong - Bad attitude, unhelpful, didn't want to be bothered, purposely made things as difficult as possible. Gave me the run around, having to go to multiple stops to get my order. After all that my order still was missing items, unbelievable. Really aggravated at this point due to the incompetence and bad attitude by frankly the entire crew at the service counter. There were 3 black girls two older and one younger one and one just as incompetent white girl who was just as bad. I don't know how this location survives with those geniuses running off customers. Making it a point not too return if I can help it. Talking with corporate and the store manager is to reach out. Well see what the resolve is. read more

Gave us the wrong size water heater despite the fact that we provided them with the item number and hen blamed us when we returned it. What's up with the attitude? Is it inept if you can't tell the difference between a 48' and a 60' height? read more

I usually love Lowes. I ordered a Weber grill from this store and customer service was terrible. The guys delivered the grill to the backyard patio but never bothered to ring the doorbell or otherwise let us know. They just dropped off a $800 grill and left. Then we noticed that their truck must have ran into a low hanging limb on our tree and the limb was dangling over the gutter. I tried to call the store to report the damage but although the operator transferred me to a manager 3 times no one ever picked up. I finally called the toll free customer service number who said someone would contact us in 24 hrs. Someone did call, got the info and said they would get back to us. That was 2 days ago and nothing. I called the central customer service again and they promised someone would call. Still waiting. read more

After spending about $10,000 at your store between cabinets countertops and appliances I didn't expect to be treated like this .. purchased a refrigerator last week to have it delivered Friday 1/11/19.. we received a call from the automated service last night stating it would be here between 8am and 12pm.. well that came and went .. so we called the delivery company and they stated that it was never loaded onto the truck .. so we called Lowe's after getting run around and transfer 3 times we were disconnected.. called back and asked for a manager .. He stated they don't have it at the store and won't be in until Monday and delivered Tuesday the 15th ... yet NO ONE from Lowe's was going to tell US this !!!!!!!!! NOT HAPPY LOWES !!!!! We waited around for NOTHING!!!! read more

So I just finished reviewing their delivery company but as of now I will never be making a purchase from Lowe's again. Their choice in delivery companies is terrible. I have spent two days waiting for a delivery that I will be canceling and demanding reimbursement for work time missed and the inconvenience of rearranging my whole schedule for a washing machine that I must now order from Home Depot. I have a family of 5 two of which do sports and two others who work physically demanding jobs so not only am I tired I also have 6 loads of funky ass laundry sitting in my laundry room because I'm waiting for a washing machine that will never come. I have never dealt with this kind of incompetence, it is unacceptable. Maybe when I call them in the morning I will be able to update and leave a better review but at this point I will NEVER recommend Lowe's, go to Home Depot! read more

It's been 24 days since we came to this Lowe's to replace a patio door took a week for someone to come out and measure another week waiting for him to call in the measurements and now still waiting for them to write up an order to purchase the door! I'm sure it will be another couple of weeks before it will arrive and be installed I would not recommend this store maybe some of the others are more efficient! read more

I hate this place, but it is the closest hardware store by me. The people there are useless, pretty much stand around and talk to each other, but then get mad if you interrupt them. There is this one old lady that yells at you at the check out by the contractor registers. And every time I'm there it seems like a customer is arguing with an employee and asking for the manager--it's entertaining, but annoying at the same time. The one good worker there is the paint lady. She seems to be the only one who does her job. Avoid if you can. read more

Usually, I am very happy with Lowe's, which is why I went to them seeking a professional measuring service for my kitchen renovation. I had used them about 4 years ago, when I was considering just new flooring. I paid 99.00 for the measure. I ended up putting off the flooring job however. I returned last week because I'd decided that it was time for a kitchen overhaul. I was disappointed to find that they would not provide the service unless I was purchasing from AND installing using Lowe's professionals. Purchasing AND installing? I thought Lowe's was a supporter of DIY projects. The job would definitely have been a self install, but it was possible that I was going to purchase cabinets and countertops from Lowes. Those items alone are significant purchases. I felt as though it was foolish of them to refuse the measuring service (which I had planned to pay for) because they werent' getting ALL of my money. read more

I recently went to shop at this Lowes store when someone damaged my car. Epic fail with my online order! Waited over 45 minutes and the order was incomplete! Part of my order was 3 fence sections and they sent 2 weaklings to assist me. Ridiculous, if there's a next time I won't bother ordering ahead. Makes no sense at all. read more
