I called the Lowe's in Mt Pleasant TX last night to ask if they had a Toro zero turn mower in stock. They did but said they'd have to find the key to it. The lady was pleasant, got my number, found the key, and called me back to let me know they found the key, and I was very appreciative. I had a friend of mine drive with me this morning, as I needed his trailer to pick up the mower (25 miles away). I got there, and they can't find the key to any Toro. I get that things happen, so I looked at other mowers, but based on the reviews on the Lowe's site, I wanted to stick with that Toro. So, I asked the lady at customer service that was helping me, Jasmine, who was very kind, if I could have them use the "universal" key they had to load my mower (as my friend had driven that way to help me), and load it. My friend and I could push it off his trailer at my house, and I could go to another store to get a key. As I'll be unable to mow for the next two weeks, it's very important to get this mower home today or tomorrow. Jasmine and the man helping to find and load the mower thought that might work, so they went and asked a manager named Ethan about it. Ethan said absolutely not, and would not even call another store to help find a key. I had them ask again, as I didn't want to have to create any negative feedback. Unfortunately, not only did Ethan again say "they could order the key from the manufacturer, and it would just get to you when it gets to you," but he wasn't even willing to come out of the office to tell me this himself. Not sure what he was doing, but it was more important than any customer of Lowe's. So, I call customer service to help. Now, I'm going to need it delivered, as my friend has wasted one trip, and I'm not about to ask again. I thought Lowe's should consider paying for the delivery as a customer satisfaction. Not only did Abigail say her "people that give that approval" said no, they weren't willing to do that, but she wouldn't even identify who made that terrible decision. Anyway...people keep telling me that Lowe's is going downhill. I used to defend them. Not anymore. My Lowe's Pro card will go dormant, I'll make sure to tell everyone I know about this, and that ETHAN couldn't be bothered to lift a finger and make a phone call to solve a problem that his store created. Poor customer service doesn't begin to touch the way I've been treated. I won't be making the same mistake again. read more

The delivery service of Lowes is incompetent. I tried to order a grill and have it delivered. The email said it would be delivered the next day from Terrell Texas. The next day Lowes called to say the order was messed up and delivery would be delivered Monday. Monday Lowes said again the order was not ready to deliver and rescheduled to Tuesday. Same thing for Tuesday until I finally decided to cancel the order. No one cares about this issue at lowes. read more

Despite having the credit card number, a farm account, a military veteran account and phone numbers on file, I was not allowed to trade in the Kobalt mister purchased here 1 month ago. Now my wife has to drive in to trade it in because she used her card to buy it instead of mine. A classic example of the employee simply not motivated enough to call a manager to get this traded for one that works. Ridiculous. read more

Their customer service is horrendous. Their delivery service is even worse! Communication is non-existent when it comes to scheduling and coordinating a delivery. Now I tried to arrange for cabinets and installation and I am getting no communication. Unless it is a screw or something they have on ther shelf, I am done with them. We purchased new counter tops from Lowe's Home Improvement Center in Mount Pleasant, TX. We ordered the counter top and had it installed through a Lowe's contractor. The contractor whom they used to manufacture and install the counters applied the wrong laminate (Formica) surface to the countertops and brought them to our home and installed them. This error occurred because we had previously shopped for countertops with them, and had selected a laminate surface we wanted, at that time. When Lowe's transmitted the order to the contractor, the contractor erroneously used the previous surface we had considered, not the one we actually purchased and requested. I felt badly because we did not have the countertop we paid for. It was also a concern that there was a considerable price difference. When I called the store and reported what had happened, they offered to make an adjustment or have the countertop replaced with the one I paid for. To make a long story short, I went into the store and received an adjustment amount in cash, without any receipt for my records. When I went home I was still unsatisfied. I got out the original invoice and made the calculations. They cheated me and did not even care--reprehensible! They failed to revisit the original invoice and make careful calculations to assure that I was receiving that which I was entitled. They hurried me through the adjustment process, first trying to give me an amount lower than I should receive, and relying on calculations that did not reflect respect for me, my time or my inconvenience. They should have been fully prepared for me when I walked through the door and have made sufficient effort to delineate the proposed adjustment, as well as the full details that would PROVE they had made adequate effort to care for me as a customer. Now, I will have to return and prove my calculations and be further inconvenienced. This level of service is far below the expectation I have for Lowe's, and I feel certain that it does not meet the corporate standards they have for themselves. read more

Been trying for a week to get damage free doors from Lowe's Mt pleasant Texas. I have talked with Logan five times today and he is uslesss. Our last conversation it's after 4pm and I am not going to delivery the doors tomorrow he stated. I don't care you have made three trips to the store today and spent three hours of your time. Today two Hispanic lumber coworkers were talking in Spanish 90 to nothing right next to me about a customer that we were waiting on who had forgotten something. I asked them to speak English if they were going to talk about work right next to me and thought that it was being rude to me. The newer associate basically told me he didn't agree and would continue to do so . Ever since he arrived to work there, I've noticed he does this all the time. Sometimes, I can tell they are talking about me. I find this troubling. They don't know I do understand some Spanish. I told the guy that we were a team and I was a member of that team and I'd like to be included in the conversation. Do you think I was out of line to say that to him? I'm so tired of these new young people. This same guy after I ask him to help someone or load a customer will not respond or say ok, then walk off and not return?? It's like I have to ask them to do their job all the time when I'm of the belief that if they had their head out of their a__ and paid attention to what was going on and just doing what they were hired to do there would be no need to ask. Not very happy with Lowe's in Lindale, Texas at this time. Had a pine treated fence installed last October 2017, and it is now August of 2018. Some of the wood is already warping within 8 months. They offer a 1 year warranty but that only covers the installation of the fence, not the product(wood). Which I just found out today. I am really upset and dissatisfied with the situation. Be very weary of doing business with this company. If I would have known that there warranty did not cover the material, I would have never done business with them. read more

Employees are always nice and at least attempt to fix any issues i may have me and my wife spend a lot of money at this store for repair or additions to our farm we stand out in a crowd with all the Tattoos so the employees usually remember us and haven't had any issues with customer service read more

This is specific to the Lowe's,#1802 in Mt. Pleasant Tx. I now have to shop at since moving to Mt. Pleasant, Tx. It's Lowe's so i am sure i will have to go there for something at some time but I am fed up enough not to put alot of energy in not returning. NO ONE there has ever been helpful, friendly or anything else positive since moving here six months ago. The return desk is NEVER open and I normally have to stand in line for about 20 mins for a return or checkout. Now to my last and hopefully final visit. Every time I go to the store it takes an hour to get through it. Gina was providing customer service/Return to the man in front of me and was arguing with him that this was the last day to do his return on his air conditioner which was pointless and took another 10 or 15 minutes. She was rude to him and rude to me until I told her if she wanted to argue over a few pieces of electrical pvc pipe I didn't use she can just throw it away...her attitude changed a small amount. I went to go get my PVC and had a hard time finding something, there was a employee right behind me that never ask me did I need any help. I have NEVER been asked is there something I can help you with. When I got to the front the lady asked me to prove that I was military because I had the military discount on my my Lowe's card. I told her I had never been asked that and probably the hundred times that I've used it and she said they are always supposed to ask. I let her know I had to show proof in order to get the discount and she said well we always have to ask. I will do my best to never go there again. But we had a few employees who would keep on walking on when you'd ask for help or who had no idea about anything you ask them about even things in their department! Terrible service. We ordered a stove online and called ahead to pick it up. When we arrived, it wasn't ready and the service was slower than expected. When it was time to load the stove in the car, employees were walking around and avoiding the stove like the plague. My husband got tired of waiting and loaded it himself as an uninvolved employee chased him down thinking he stole it. read more
