I have always given them a 5 but since their driver delivering to another neighbors ran over our mailbox twice I have lost all loyalty. promised twice someone would all me to discuss after manager made a claim. no one apologized and the employee was dishonest. he could have left a card in the mailbox or even tried to pull it up. I've used this store for 25 years, doing my spring and fall garden. This year, seed rack is gone. I can understand, they decided to move the Ferry Morse seed rack, but the fact not one out of the 5 employees (including customer service!) could tell me where they were moved to. They show up in my Lowe's App, but employees can't say where they are. Then, the app has a 24/7 chat service; forget that, it doesn't work! In the past, I've seen this store decline. I've been using Alexander for hardwares, now using Tractor Supply for gardening. Good bye Lowe's! read more

DO NOT get flooring installed by lowes. They contract out to service pros. You go thru multiple layers. I had numerous issues and it took a month to finally get my flooring install finished. Received only 200 but for that I gave up over b 18 hours of calls not returned, emails and follow up. Lowes simply dies not care and told me I should have read the fine print in the contract. They had 2 months to complete the install. Please people pay heed to my warning. Until this I had the utmost respect for lowes. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the flooring Department Manager, Store Manager and Customer Service at the Lowes on Rangeline Road in Mobile Alabama. We paid Lowes in advance for material and labor to replace laminate flooring in our home based primarily on their timeline provided to complete the job. When this timeline fell behind schedule, I went to the store to discuss it with the flooring department. The department manager checked the material status and told me all the material was in and she would notify the installer to schedule the work. I called the installer after a few days and was told Lowes had not released the job to them. After failing to return my call I went back to the store to discuss why the work was held up. The department manager again told me all the material was in the pickup bin for the installer to schedule the work. When the installers finally arrived, I was told that Lowes had not provided the moldings to transition from laminate to carpet that they would need to complete the job. I again went to the store and the department manager knew the moldings had not been provided to the installer and that they were still on order. When asked if there was another Lowes in town that had the moldings, I was told that one store did, but it would take a material transfer between stores, and she was not going to do that. Lowes had also not provided the dark colored quarter round trim to go around the cherry cabinetry that the estimator had specified. When I brought this to the attention of the department manager I was told Lowes did not carry that molding and there was nothing that she could do about it. I went to their quarter round section, found the trim the installers needed and bought it. During the laminate installation phase I noticed a strong odor of natural gas. As I was investigating the cause one of the installers pointed to the gas supply line to the kitchen stove that they had previously removed for the flooring installation. He had broken the line while moving it out of his way. I stopped their work, opened the exterior doors and shut off the gas to the house. I hate to imagine what would have happened if I had not been there at the time. Since none of the installers that were there could speak English, I called the installers representative that coordinated the job. He told me that broken line was now their highest priority, and he would send someone there to take care of it. The person he sent was the crew supervisor and he told me a plumber would be there the next morning to repair the line. The plumber never arrived and after two days without hot water I had to take care of getting the leak fixed myself. When the installation was finished, with the exception of the transition moldings, I received an email from Lowes notifying me the job was complete and closed. I left a message with the store manager asking him to please call me and explained that I needed to discuss a problem I was having with the flooring department. The next day when he still had not returned my call, I called customer service and as I began explaining the problem encountered was told I definitely needed to speak with the store manager, and she would leave a message for him to call me. The next day I again called customer service and spoke to the same person and was told she would personally deliver the message to the manager. When I still hadn't heard from him by late afternoon, I called customer service and spoke to the same person. I overheard her asking someone if they had delivered the message to the manager and they clearly had not. She then asked that person to go find the manager and have him call me. I never did get a call from him. The next day I called the office of the installation contractor to find out what I needed to do next to get the work completed. I was told the work order had been closed prematurely, but she would open a new one. Finally, the next week a worker arrived and installed the missing moldings. This flooring work was being done in preparation for listing our home on the market. When the buyers home inspection was performed the most significant finding was that the dishwasher was unattached to the counter and the trim moldings were broken off. The workers had pulled the dishwasher out during the laminate installation without removing the screws that secured it to the counter. By doing so they had broken off the screws and boards that that secure the machine. They then stuck the boards back in the openings around the dishwasher so it would not be noticeable. Looking back to why I selected Lowes for this job in the first place it was because of their promised timeline. I can't imagine any other flooring business in town doing a poorer job getting this job done efficiently and on time as Lowes. I will never consider using Lowes for any flooring needs again and absolutely will not set foot in the Rangeline Road store for anything. read more

Never thought I'd ever find myself writing a review for a home improvement store but my experience today has changed my mind. First of all, I do frequent Lowe's quite a bit as I always "need" something. I always receive friendly service, but today we met a great associate named Brown. When I asked if I was in his way, he quickly and warmly responded that we are the reason he is there and we could never be in his way. We chatted with him for a minute and left smiling. Do me a favor guys and gals. There's something wrong going on at Lowe's and they don't give a fig about it. I know it, you know it and, sadly they know it yet they appear to cast a blind eye to it. It's about how they get that major appliance from their store, the one you thoughtfully chose, the one you paid good money for, from them to you. Horrible service that LOWES KNOWS ABOUT AND REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE. Spirit is used by both Lowe's and Home Depot. Our story is just another in a plethora of stories about crappy service and outright mockery by the drivers for this wretched business. My mother in law purchased a refrigerator and stove from Lowe's the latter delivered on November 5th where the Lead of the team (Jarvis Turner) dropped the stove (still bound in its box) in the living room. They went to their truck. We assumed for a tool or something with which to both remove the old stove and attach the new one. Because Lowe's was paid this fee for just that task. But they left. Just trucked it out of there. Now because the phone number to the Appliance Department just rings and rings and rings (it's great, try it!) we physically went to Lowe's to find out what was what. Gosh it didn't sound right to them so they got us the number to Spirit and scheduled those guys to do the hook up of the oven in like 3 days because Spirit had a lot of shit to mess up with other customers so when they DID come out we'd got the oven out of its cardboard box and Jarvis and his bud had a little attitude don't ya know. They hooked it up and again went to the truck sans cardboard (which was paid for and part of the deal) Nope they weren't gonna take it because they chuckled and said they weren't allowed to. (They took the refrigerator carton only days before so Spirit Delivery Policy had changed quickly I assume) they outright laughed when asked for their names, giving fake mumbling syllables instead. Pretty confident in their carelessness because why not? Because read the reviews. Spirit doesn't care and Home Depot/Lowe's don't care. Or else, y'know, they'd respond in ANY way and we'd thank them. I know I would. But I guess all we do is write about our experiences and call customer service and nothing comes of it. Life goes on and money flows in to those businesses. We called Spirit and though they sounded appalled, vowing to send someone out first thing the next day they did not. Radio silence since then. Maybe we start getting our washers and dryers and kitchen things from somewhere not Lowe's. A place not named Home Depot. Yeah. Let's do that. That's another favor you can do for me. Absolutely the worst customer service. I ordered a washing machine on line and they said I also needed the hoses to connect the water. Okay, that's fine. The washing machine ended up coming from Pascagoula on Monday, they didn't have the hoses and Tillmans corner didn't have the machine, so the hoses were supposed to arrive on Tuesday between 1:30 and 5:30. The washing machine arrived at 9:30 on Monday. No hoses by 5:30 pm on Tuesday. After waiting 15 minutes on hold customer service said a third party would be delivering the hoses. She said he was at a stop now and had one more before me, so no estimate of what time he might arrive. They can't provide the services they sell on line and neither can the third party they hire. read more

Went in for a certain item, asked a group of employees if they could show me where the item could be found. They didn't listen to what I said and told me an isle number. I went and looked and couldn't find it. I went back to them and they were still having a conversation. I finally got one of them to walk me to what I was looking for. And the selection was not good. This location is really convenient for me but the customer service Dept is pretty terrible. Iv had 2 very bad experiences here. Long story short I have a Lowe's card and returned some items, wife used a visa gift card in addition to our Lowe's card. On the return I fulley explained I wanted the money back on my Lowe's card as the visa was a disposable card we no longer had. Cashier didn't listen to me and put the credit back on the wrong card. CS said nothing they could do. I explained that was unacceptable as I no longer had the card. CS rep called someone else who explained the same while raising her voice and getting frustrated. I calmly explained this wasn't acceptable. She called manager over who was fraud treated and told me "why are we doing this, 20.00 is not worth all this trouble." He Made a seen and then said he would give me 20.00 from his pocket. I told him that wasn't right but that I would accept any form of payment that I could actually spend. Seemed I tried to offer more possible solutions than they did. Attitude reflects leadership. I see why workers aren't problem solvers as neither was CS manager. They all need to be trained on how to put themselves in customers shoes and try and solve issue rather than reverting to "standard go to". ..."nothing we can do." read more

By far, the worst one I have ever visited. No one would, ask if you needed any help. The shelves in the tool area are not maintained. The staff is standing around and talking with one another instead of stocking shelves and helping customers. I will never visit this store again, I have just become a true HD member. I watched a cashier call an employee who just got off work over to a closed register to check her out while customers stood in line waiting. I use to love the Big Blue, but after more than one visit to this store I have changed. read more

Just had one of the worse experiences at this location. While I'll continue to patronize lowes...I will not rush back to this location. A total of three cashiers could not figure out a coupon and the my lowes account. Nearly 20 minutes at the checkout, resulting in a pointless explanations and the cashier becoming confrontational. All this becuase the initial cashier was too busy dancing at the self checkout instead of attending to the needs of the costumer. I'll drive 4 more miles to get better customer service. read more

I have been in need of outdoor patio doors w/blinds. I've been checking on this nearby Lowe's store regularly. I have never encountered such uncaring employees before. Just this last month I have spent 6k in plantation shutters alone! The employees in the patio doors department act like I'm bothering them by asking them for help by wanting to spend another 2k on doors there. They tell you to "look yourself" and he "has been working there for 12 years and has never seen them on sale"! So rude!! Absolutely no customer service to be found either in this store!!! read more

Go to every other Lowe's in the area but this one. All that the employees do is stand in a circle finger popping each other's as*holes , bullshitting with one another opposed to actually doing their job. This isn't the first time either. You can't ever get them to fetch your curbside order in the 4hr time period so I had to come in bc it wasn't ready once again to come get an order I specifically wanted brought to my vehicle. Well today was just the icing on the cake. Last week My husband had to come in for vinyl tubing that online it said there was this many available so He comes in and there's none! Everything is in complete and utter disarray. So I come in a week later today and I go to the employees that are all sitting in a circle bullshitting with one another and ask the bigger middle aged white dude to take me to where the vinyl tubing is because this was what I was looking for and showed it to him. Initially he pointed in what direction I need to go I had to stop and tell him no I want you to take me to it because I don't want to have to hunt it down especially when your doing nothing but gossiping like a bunch of females. So he's huffs an puffs an acts like I'm Inconveniencing him and finally takes me to it on low and behold guess what once again there is none in the box that was empty last time. I go to the Lowe's on I 65 Service Rd. near the supercenter Walmart the first employee that I went to was busy doing something stop what he was doing it took me to where I needed to go. I thanked because I told him what had happened at the other store and he told me it's no big deal to help. It's his job. Corporate needs to come down and head hunt a vast majority of these employees that are lazy and get rid of them because that is absolutely ridiculous that I have to drive out of my way to a different store just to get someone to actually do their job and get the things I need !!! .. read more

We use this Lowe's location quite frequently and always have good experiences. The last time we used them we purchased a freezer and had them deliver it to our home. The young man in the appliance department was very friendly and helpful. The deliverymen that brought the freezer were on time and were friendly and could not have done anything more to give us a great experience. read more
