BIG MISTAKE - Buyer Beware. Those flowers were poorly put together and fell apart on my friends front porch when her granddaughter tried to lift the package. My friend said that she always uses Zimlich and was surprised by the way the local florist contracted by the dot.com florist did business. I was horrified and embarrassed. Fast forward to today. I called the Sage avenue location of Zimlich and was fortunate enough to speak with a super sweet employee named Sherry. I explained to her what had happened last week and asked for help putting together a new order. Sherry was amazing and knew her flowers. She told me what was fresh in stock and helped me to decide. I chose to go with a "designer's choice option" because I got a really good feeling talking with her and she also mentioned that the florist working today was extremely talented with many years of experience. I ordered the flowers around 8:30 Central time. The flowers were delivered close to 10:00 AM Central. (There was some really bad weather expected later in the day, so I am VERY appreciative that the flowers were delivered before the storm rolled through). My friend called me later in the morning to thank us and to tell me how beautiful the second arrangement was. These soy candles smell so wonderful! They're come in a variety of scents and they are very fragrant. One candle burning will easily smell up my den, kitchen, dining room, foyer, bar, butler's pantry and hallway (that's 7 spaces to 1 candle). They sell for about $10-$15 each and come in pretty little jars with a twine bow and tag. I know it's pretty impressive that one candle can smell up seven rooms, but the best thing about these candles is actually the cause behind them. Lights of LOV is a candle making business created by Light of the Village. The purpose of Lights of LOV is to help those who are underprivileged or face other obstacles such as a criminal history, to learn job skills, work ethic, and appropriate behavior and dress for employment. If you aren't familiar with Light of the Village, it also offers summer camps and after school programs for children, life skill programs for adults such as GED classes, addiction recovery, driver education.
