I came to Lowe's this evening to purchase paint for ongoing home improvement projects, and I left beyond frustrated and disappointed. I waited at the paint counter for over 30 minutes without being acknowledged by a single employee. When someone finally spoke to me, I was told the paint associate was on lunch -- at 6:20 PM -- and wouldn't return for another 30 minutes? Frankly, this is unacceptable. I work a full-time job and rely on stores like Lowe's to provide basic service during normal operating hours -- especially as a Pro Member, which is supposed to come with priority treatment and convenience. Instead, I wasted nearly an hour of my time with nothing to show for it. It's baffling that no one else on staff was trained or available to assist with something as standard as mixing paint, and even more frustrating that no signage or communication was provided about the delay. If your employees are unavailable for an hour during peak shopping time, that's a staffing and management issue -- not a customer problem. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because as a loyal customer and Pro Member, I expect far better from Lowe's. read more

Great selection of flowers and plants in the garden shop today. Some annuals were on sale half price "$5 for 5" vincas, portulacas, and more. Also some blooms I had not seen before. The cashier was helpful, reminding me to use my Lowe's number for points. read more

Decent garden section, I get my birdseed here. Sometimes, you can get plants on clearance. I bought two washers here, I do not recommend buying anything by Whirlpool. Also got my dryer here, it is GE. I can navigate around the garden section ok, but if I need to buy anything else, it is helpful to use the Lowe's app to help you locate the item because most of the staff is at the front of the store, assisting customers. Staff is awesome, it is just easier to use the app because this store is huge, staff is harder to find once you enter the Lowe's labyrinth. read more

I ordered 400lbs of pool salt and some other pool chemicals. I received a message saying it was delivered. It was not ! I called and after an hour of being hung up on with excuses like we can't help you because it was an outside delivery service and it was an old man ! When I asked about why after 20 minutes no one answered the phone the answer I got was we are just busy . I called Corporate. They said we have a special number to call could I hold. They didn't answer either. I have to wait 24hours to see where my order was delivered too. read more

While this store has a large selection of appliances there is a lot lacking in the delivery service and customer service if something goes wrong! First of all when my delivery arrived I informed the two delivery men that the existing refrigerator was going to be used by a family who was in need. After telling them this they destroyed the entire refrigerator. Based on the pictures the two of them deliberately made sure it was unable to be used. Almost as if they had planned on selling it themselves. Second, when the two brought in the new refrigerator they dented the door of the new appliance. When I called Lowe's they gave me two options. 1) I could purchase another refrigerator and it would be delivered in 10-14 days. Once it was delivered and installed they would refund my original purchase or 2) They would send someone out to pick up the dented refrigerator, refund the money and I could live without a refrigerator for 10-14 days. Obviously neither option is acceptable but, since it is a holiday weekend, I had to choose one before the 48 hour return window expired. This very poor customer service and my discussions will continue with their corporate office after the holiday. read more

I purchased a product for my yard from Lowe's that was recommended by one of the associates on the product bag said if not satisfied return for full refund this product True Green weed and feed Max I applied it correctly I'm very familiar with the lawns and it destroyed my grass and killed every flower that it touched I went to return it to the store the store gave me the complete runaround gave me three numbers I literally spoke with six different departments and the last person told me that I could not get my money back because there was not a warranty product but the bag clearly stated if not satisfied return for full refund my yard is destroyed my flowers are dead and Lowe's does not even want to give me $29 back for my purchase because they said I used the entire product it said nothing on the bag about using some of the product I have to replace grass and flowers because of this product I'm so livid I don't know what to do the person that I spoke with on the phone in Lowe's customer service was very rude and had such a nasty attitude read more

We went in to buy paint. While we were looking for paint there wee two employees in the paint area. We needed help, and they were gone . It took multiple overhead pages, and us asking for the manager to help, and it still took well over 30 min to get someone to help us. Also, the Kobalt cordless tool section is a disaster ... missing half the tools from the display. When I complained to the lady working in that area she told me "It will be alright". So condescending. Very few items have prices on them. Since I started shopping here 4 years ago, it has gone downhill and is poorly managed. read more

This review is for the flooring installation contractor, service pros, for Lowes. I have used their plumber, and they were good. So, I decided to use their contractor for flooring. That was a bad idea. Do not use this company. They are contracted out from Lowes for flooring. These people were a a " "No show" on the install date without notification. I was told job would take 1 day, but lasted 2. So i missed 2 unexpected days of work. They don't start work till about 10 or 11 then go to lunch shortly after. They used my refrigerator and adjusted my ac without consent. As, for the store, I have not had any major problems. I did a personal order for a refrigerator one time and we had a hard time tracking it. read more

This store doesn't even deserve one star. What happened to people having any pride in their job??? I went there wanting to purchase blow in insulation and rent a machine. I could not find anyone on the floor to ask about the machine. I found one associate sitting at a desk playing on a computer. This was one aisle over. He said he knew nothing about checking on the machine. I went to customer service. They told me they don't handle that. I went back to the insulation area and the same guy at the computer was the only one I could find. I approached him again. He didn't see me. He was picking his nose and appeared to put the same finger in his mouth. When he noticed me. I said that customer service was no help. He said again that it's not his department and he knows nothing about that. I asked if he could get someone that did know about it... He couldn't care less. He said to go to the contractor desk. They tried calling someone and no one would respond. I left very frustrated. My wife and I are looking at remodeling our kitchen and other home improvements. We were strongly considering Lowe's. After this terrible service, there is no way I will do business with Lowe's. I strongly recommend that people start doing business with your local shops. They may be a little more expensive. Went to Tillmans corner lowes today,found some scratch and dent appliances,2 real nice young men were helping me,they said it was cash and carry only,told them a manager approved me to pickup these items before,I wasn't in a truck,asked them to call a manager, well my wife was waiting at the appliance desk, while I waited for a manager, we'll she came up to me and said the manager said he didn't have time to see me,as well as hung up the phone on the associate,well I told the associate to tell him to make time,well he finally came from the back and said cash and carry old,I told him here is a item marked sold,he informed me it was his purchase and was going to take it home when he got off,I told him I had done it many of times and if he could I could, well Shae a customer service manager walked up and said she would help me,she was ringing up my sale,and he walked over and told her she couldn't do the sale,I asked him to leave,she was taking care of me,he kept on trying to start a problem, well she completed the sale and told me to ask for her when I got back,1 hour later I came back to pickup merchandise, they had it upfront, the young man was super nice,and told me the manager called the police on me,I said for what,didn't cuss or threatened him,3 different employees told my wife that the assistant manager on duty named (YOUSAFF) has a bad reputation with customers and employees, I will follow up with lowes corporate and the GM tomorrow read more

This used to be a great place for home improvement buys. Sure you can still get those buys, but don't count on getting on much help. Lately, it seems Lowe's hires people, puts them in a department but doesn't train them for that department. The people in electrical know nada about electrical for example. read more

I ran into a guy named Dennis who was very helpful in telling us all about each of the cameras and what they exactly could do and couldn't do . He was very helpful and courteous and patient with us . Ordered it on 8/8/19 with a delivery date of 8/11. 8/11: No grill; no one called or texted 8/17: Delivered wrong grill 8/24: Another missed delivery date with no call 8/29: still don't have grill Good luck just trying to get ahold of anyone at the store, and if you do, it really doesn't matter because no one is knowledgeable enough to make a difference. Great place to sho for your home improvements or home fixer uppers. They offer a military discount all year long not just Veterans Day. They have pool supplies so my husband gets his salt and chlorine here. They have garden supplies and a nice variety of vegetables and herbs seasonally. They will offer recommendations on projects also. My only complaint is they don't allow dogs. This is one place dogs should be allowed if nothing else at least in the cart. Evidently someone got bit once so it ruined it for everyone. Hard to imagine someone bringing a dog into any store that was probed to biting. Anyway, that's why only 4 stars. read more

Went to Lowe's to purchase a ceiling fan at my husband's instance, I prefer Home Depot, I used them when living in New York. What a disappointment! No one on the floor to help you out and when you walk the floor and find someone they say it's not their department! While standing in the ceiling fan area workers would walk by and my husband would stop them to ask a question. It was clear they did not know what they were talking about, as they say fake it till you make it! Brought the fan anyway after figuring it out ourselves. There are signs hanging stating fan installation is available but no one in the store knew about the service! LOL this has to be a joke! It's to unbelievable. When someone finally answered the phone they had issues looking up my order and had an attitude about even looking it up. I'm still not confident that my order will show up. Online customer service is great. West mobile customer service is great. This store is horrible. purchased new washer and dryer in the store. Was told they would be delivered 5 days later. I even questioned the salesperson to be sure I had the date right. Took the day off of work for the delivery. Lowes did not deliver or even call. when I called them, they said my delivery had been 12 days all along not 5 and just said the salesperson made a mistake. No effort by Lowes to make it right. Fast forward to the next week. tried SEVERAL times to get someone on the phone at the local store to verify that the delivery would happen the next day Before I took another day off of work. I had no luck getting through to a live person. The phone literally rang until it disconnected. Eventually got an automated call from Lowes telling me that my delivery was scheduled for the next day between 8 am and noon. Again, took time off of work. At 9:30 on the day of delivery I received a call from the delivery person saying that the washer hadn't arrived. Since the W&D were being stacked, we needed the washer. He said he would have a salesperson call me. That call never happened. Went to the store same day. Stood in line for 45 minutes while they tried to cancel my order and most of that was waiting on an assistant sales manager to approve the cancellation. not one question was asked about why I was cancelling the order. not only that but as I stood there waiting on the ASM to approve the cancellation, the phone was ringing off the hook - non stop. Rarely was it answered and I personally witnessed a customer service rep pick up the ringing phone and immediately hang the phone up without ever saying a word. AVOID THIS STORE. one more thing. After the cancellation was processed, I received notice from the credit card company that the refund had been received but an hour later, Lowes had charged the full amount back to the card. Or the people at the cash register that give your dog a treat. I love those people. However Never try to call bc no one answers and you'll be on hold forever. Well they won't and you'll have to go back in bc they won't answer the phone and remind them... only for them to finally call over a month later make the appointment and then not show up. Of all the home improvement stores in the U.S., I love Lowe's the most. perhaps it's one of those nostalgia things. My dad is a very do-it-yourself kind of guy, so he would always take my sisters and me on trips to Lowe's when we were younger. After, we'd help him do whatever it was he was doing (remodeling the porch, re-bricking the patio, fixing the cabinets, painting the house, etc.). Every time I go, I'm like a little kid in a candy store. Lowe's has a great selection of anything you might need for your home. I go there primarily for paint (because I've been painting things a lot lately), and the people who work there are very nice and can help you mix whatever color you need. Just make sure you have lots of time when you need to go because, if you're like me, you'll want to stop by each aisle, browsing the lumber and sink fixtures just for the fun of it. read more

Came in today to get the supplies needed to replace our tub and shower wall. We needed assistance getting the shower wall so I got some help. Problem is when he came to help us someone else walked up needed help so he stopped helping us to go help them. We saw the person he decided to help instead of us walk by but didn't see him again. So both my fiancé and I went and found two other employees to ask for help. They both called the same guy back to help us after we told them about what he had done. He finally found the shower walls we needed but had to call someone else to come help get them down. When they got all set up to get ready to bring the piece down they stopped again to help other customers. Mind you I am 40wks pregnant today and am trying to get as much done before my child arrives as I can and I have already been walking all over the store just to get help. So I went and interrupted their conversation with the group of customers asking what I needed to do to help them help me get out of the store and get home. I asked if I needed to grab another cart or if they were just going to lay the shower wall on top of the tub we were buying. They said no that if needed they would go get a cart for us. They finally take the walls down off the top of the shelf and asked if we had more shopping to do or if they could just bring it right to the front. We told them just to bring it right to the front on the right side of the store near the awning for loading. We got up there first of coarse and waited for a minute then I went back to the left side of the store to buy a bug zapper and came back to the right side to meet up with my fiancé. They still hadn't shown up by then. We waited for awhile and the cashier decided to call them to see what was taking long. They told her they still needed to come get a cart to load the shower walls up onto....... So we waited around some more. I was really upset at this point and figured they stopped yet again to help someone else. So I walked my 40wk pregnant self back to the other side of the store to see if I needed to escort them to the front or go find a cart myself. They weren't there and apparently I had passed them trying to figure out what they were doing. Stopped at the garden center to purchase some flowers and there were 3 female employees standing in front of the mist fan due to the hot temp. I asked for a specific flower and 1 employee said they didn't have any, the 2nd employee didn't know where they were located and the 3rd employee said she thought they had some in first row, maybe on the 2nd table.
