Don't order appliances from this location or any Lowes. They will forget to deliver your paid for items, once the items arrive those appliances will not work and Lowes will do nothing to help and will not take any responsibility. I even paid for the 3 year Lowes protection plan for $100 and that does nothing for you as well. I'm a new home owner and this has been the worst experience I have ever had. read more

I will NEVER step foot in this Lowe's again. We were looking to remodel our kitchen, so we stopped in to see how we would go about doing that. The first designer was rude and told me he was too busy to talk to me that day. I chalked it up to a bad day. It wasn't a bad day. We get the kitchen measured. We had to email him a couple of days later, as he told us to, to set up a meeting to work on the kitchen. We set up a time, we go and he does not even acknowledge us. He was with another client, but does not say anything. We waited 1.5 hours and then left. We spoke to the manager, she apologize and said she would speak with him. We decided to go with the other designer. That doesn't go so well either. He brings politics into the conversation. Not!! He's not into our project. There were emails back and forth and we asked when we could come back to finalize. He gives us a day and time in the middle of the week, in the middle of the day. Not happening. We emailed back a requested another day and time. We get a phone call today asking us to move our time because it's in the middle of the day and another customer really needs to get in. Now, we're angry. No better way to say, your project isn't important. We have moved the project somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and go to any other Lowe's but this one. read more

Nice store, convenient location. Assistance for retail customers is non existent. They removed the call buttons in each dept. If I have to go all the way to the front of the store for product assistance I'll just keep going out the door. I love this store. Donovan the manager is great, very helpful. His stsff are also great and good the extra mile to help you. I just had an accident at 9:45 pm and needed an emergency plumbing part. Arrived at the lowes meridian store at 10:30pm after the 10pm close time. Donovan, along with several others were exiting and I explained my emergency and they reopened for the 5 minutes for me to get my part. I bought kitchen cabinets back April of 24, We are now September of 24, and we only have about half of them installed. We had provided all the installation instructions that came with the appliances. The cabinet for the refrigerator was made wrong, so all work stopped, we also have a lot of dents and scratches on the cabinets. We did get the order pull out draws we ordered. Lowe's has decided that the kitchen is done closed our installation marked our kitchen finished. They paid out the installer. Surprise the installer does not want to come back to finish the job. Lowe's attitude is that you got your cabinets, and half are installed. You should be happy with that. We now have to find our own installers to finish the kitchen, which means we have to pay twice for installation. Lowe's is telling us to shut up be happy with what you did get. NEVER EVER BUY KITCHEN CABINETS OR COUNRT TOP FROM LOWE'S. THEY WILL SCREW YOU AND TELL YOU, YOU BE HAPPY ABOUT IT THE LOUSY SERVICE. read more

Do not buy any doors from Lowe's. I have paid 4500 for two doors 2 years ago, before COVID. It took almost a year to get them installed and the back door was installed incorrectly. It sags on the hinges and cannot be open or closed. I have been trying Lowe's to come and repair my door for 7 months now and all I get is the run around. Everyone points a finger at someone else and nothing gets done. As off right now I cannot use my back door. The customer service is the worse, I have ever experienced anywhere. Mike the sales person is nice and promises you moon and stars but once you sign the check he is gone and everyone else could care less. Time to review a HARDWARE STORE! EXCITING! This is my new go-to Lowe's and so far I'm pretty happy with it. It seems a little more organized than the one on Overland in Meridian that I used to go to, and the staff are generally pretty helpful. To expand on that, big shout out to Howard, the older gentleman who works returns. Not sure if he always or exclusively works returns, but he's just a super nice and helpful dude. I told him I needed to exchange some NUTS AND BOLTS and he made the process easy and...fun? I know that sounds weird, but he somehow did as he cracked a few jokes and was generally just a pleasant person. Howard should be the king of Lowe's. Maybe Howard's last name is Lowe and this was some kind of Undercover Boss thing? Nah...he was too nice. Anyway, hard to get too descriptive about a big box hardware store, but this location usually has a stocked inventory and a good selection of things I had no idea I needed, and everyone has been pretty helpful. I was going to take some pictures but actually that's a lie because why would I go into a hardware store to take pictures? Who am I, Al Borland? Let's face it, most people head to this place because the have a "to do list" and want the parts they need and maybe some advice on how to do it. The staff there are as friendly as can be for being pulled every which way, and offer advice as best they can provide. The prices are good on most stuff and the items they carry now, makes it almost not necessary to stop by another place to grab something else. The tool selection has been great for me with accessories to go with them. Tools purchased shock over the year have aided in a shed, chicken coop and firewood shed. read more

Terrible experience today at lowes in meridian off eagle. James in cabinets was extremely rude and condescending. I will be returning to speak with management about my experience. I made a decision to come to lowes off of overland to purchase my cabinets. All James had to do was process the payment, but instead he made the transaction extremely uneasy and difficult. This store is being run by mental midgets. We went in to buy an outdoor patio furniture piece and a BBQ unit. It took over an hour for them to try and book out the delivery and charges. As it got later and later, I finally had to leave before I went postal in there. I don't suffer idiots very well. They put probably their newest employee at the cashier/service desk and he could not figure out how to do a charge for the items+a delivery charge+ an assembly charge. A second woman clerk came by and knew as little as the poor new guy and she was totally comatose too. My wife stayed and suffered thru this fiasco. Now we were talking about a $600 purchase and I was so steamed at their incompetence I told her that we should have gone the Amazon or Wayfare route. (BTW, this outfit charges $60 for delivery and it isn't worth it.) The next day I was still so PO'd I did go back and canceled the whole order and told the manager why. He didn't even try to keep the sale, just shrugged his shoulders and rang up the cancelation and refund. Lowes is not my favorite store. read more

At 9:00 this morning there were ZERO cashiers available. Only option was self checkout. When I get a discount for doing someone else's job, I'll use self checkout. TL;DR: Thank you, Lowes, for recommending Home Depot. The customer service staff were pleasant and courteous, but we found the online-to-store order experience very poor, and it caused delays in our renovation project. We were advised by store staff to order online since they were out of the floor we wanted. Our order was later canceled with no explanation or notice (other than a boilerplate cancellation email with no details). As far as I can tell, this was not due to a fulfillment delay or stock-out since, as I understand it, you get a clear email and a phone call when that happens. Additionally, the product is still listed as available on the site. The store's customer service advised me to try ordering again or contact corporate. I have not been able to get ahold of anyone at corporate, and the lack of explanation does not encourage a second attempt. I would prefer not to waste an additional three days. I spoke with my bank and verified that there's absolutely no payment-related issue on that end. It looks like there are several users in Reddit Home Improvement communities complaining about large orders getting canceled with no explanation or recourse. read more

My wife and I stopped in yesterday afternoon to get some prices on window coverings. Once my wife informed the salesperson that we would install the shades and blinds ourselves that salesperson told my wife that he didn't have the time to price out all of our measurements/ needs. I found that a quite pathetic response from someone hired to HELP sell products for Lowe's and have positive customer interactions as a company representative. Not impressed by Lowe's Installation Services. Used them for a flooring job in two bathrooms which also included installation of one new toilet. (1) Contractor used for initial measurement, cost and materials needed was wrong. This lead to paying upfront for sub-floor rip-out and disposal labor (No sub-floor. We're on slab concrete, which the contractor should have seen) and purchase of several sheets of plywood and other supplies that weren't needed. (2) Also paid for linoleum rip-out and disposal that wasn't needed. (3) I had to go back to Lowe's while the installers were at my house to pick-up a part that was needed but not included. (4) Installers didn't stop at Lowe's to pick up what was identified for them to bring (fortunately it was the plywood that wasn't needed). (5) Lowe's does not provide a customer liaison to coordinate the timing of multiple contractors, so we had to reschedule the plumber to reinstall the toilet after the flooring installation took longer than we were assured. (6) One of the flooring contractors talked to himself loudly, played music and sang to it while he worked. (7) The plumber (who came back, thankfully after doing other jobs) had never seen a toilet that connected in the way our new one needed to be installed. Fortunately, it came with directions. We had to revisit Lowe's again to get refunds for the materials and labor that were assessed but not needed/used. So far, that was about $500 worth of refunds. One refund required a certain Lowe's employee to re-calculate, but he wasn't available. Lowe's was supposed to call yesterday to tell us about the amount of that refund after they figured it out, but they didn't. We should have learned our lesson last time we used Lowe's when did a new front door and back door installation that took six months for them to complete successfully. That one required Lowe's to call out additional contractors to fix what the first one did. Lesson is now learned. read more

Got home and it was physically longer with 3 less wires for installation. Brought it back and their 'electrical specialist' said "I can't help you, I've never installed one of these before." I know this sounds stupid, but I am a new plant mom (learning off tik tok) and when I asked her which plants needed the most help she showed me and told me everything I needed to do to save them and showed me what a healthy plant looks like. She really took the time to ask me my name and what plants I had at home. If you go here for a plant and need help ask for Arlene. She's ya girl! She'll take you under her wing. I went in looking for a replacement cord for my christmas tree because my cord broke. I tried to find a replacement online and in store but I don't think they make them anymore. Debbie at store 2573 in the inside garden department was SUPER helpful. She stripped the wire and fixed it for me and showed me what to do if it happens again. I was very impressed with the service and asked if I could give her praise somewhere and she gave me "did we provide you with level 10 service?" Paper with a QR code but I couldn't get it to work. Ordered $1,100 of materials for delivery scheduled for Monday. Called Monday after not hearing anything, and was told it was delayed until Thursday. They didn't bother to call to tell me this. Found same material at other suppliers for hundreds less, and wanted to cancel order, but first Lowe's couldn't find my order, then they couldn't cancel the items and a manager would call me back after his lunch break. 3pm and still no call back, so I call and the manager has an attitude saying it's already done - until I wanted email confirmation, and then he actually cancelled the order. As an avid gardener and landscaper, when Spring arrives to the Treasure Valley, I always go to Lowe's over the past three years as I've found they have The Best Selection and quantities over their other competitive big box stores. The quality of the live goods is really pleasing and I can easily spend over an hour wandering through the front parking lot coral and the inside green area. Unfortunately, The local Home Depots do not have the varieties and selections that Lowe's carries. The other day I was really impressed by the customer service I received from a Manager and Associate. I needed some tan Holland Pavers and the pallets were empty. Upon requesting a new pallet be brought down from overhead, Hector (who was keeping watch while a Manager brought down some pallets of garden soil towards the front) inquired what I needed and then stated he would send that manager and the forklift right over as she finished. I was pleasantly surprised that they were so prompt and courteous and the Lawn & Garden center was packed with people. The manager opened a locked gate (which almost never happens when these big box stores are so busy) and brought in the pallet, allowing me to select my pavers and quantities with a smile and Hector asked me if there was anything else they could assist me with. We had a quick 1 minute chat, where I happily thanked them both for their great and prompt service! I highly recommend this Eagle & Ustick Rds location - they are the best choice to do your Lawn & Garden shopping!! read more

Oh how I really try to like this store. Their selection of home decor options are always far superior to other competitors, which is why as much as I cringe just a little every time I go in; I can't help but go back. If you know exactly what you want, do not need advice from an associate, and the item is in stock you are golden. Anything outside the above and you need to either shop elsewhere or prepare yourself for a hit and miss experience. Do not get me wrong, the employees here are friendly and would love to be helpful; if they were knowledgeable enough to be. I find more often than not, someone will ask me if I need help, I ask a question and get the immediate panicked deer in the head light look. I also find their inventory of actual supplies for a home improvement project are poor. Want a cool ceiling fan or a new bathroom fixture? They've got it! Looking for all the necessities to build a deck, probably not going to happen. If you do find what you need, it was most likely one option that will work but not really what you were looking for, and then you feel like you compromised and I hate that! Special orders are really what gives me anxiety. If I see that the item I want is not in stock, I really comtemplate how bad I want it before proceeding. The first issue, is now you really do need help and no one is around to help. Nor do they come when you push the ridiculous call button in the department. Then is the item actually available? Followed by how long will it take to come? Answers to both these questions are never consistent. On my last special order purchase, I was told the item was on back order and their normal one week order time would be more like three. Well... it arrived, took the guy 45mins to unbury it from the back and then found out that it wasn't even all there. Fast forward another three weeks, and the rest finally arrives. Pick it up, employee pushes cart to my car and then asks if I got it ok? The nice me says, Yup! While the other side of me is thinking inside, " Really?!? You just pushed this flooring out to my car in a shopping cart, and are going to let me load the 30lb boxes in my vehicle by myself? " Just not OK...... Went to Lowes this morning at 9:00 a.m. I saw 4 employees wearing their masks down under their chins. In this pandemic and in Idaho where are numbers are so high I cannot believe that this is allowed. Your employees are putting all shoppers at risk for Covid-19. We recently moved from out of state and ordered a refrigerator, washer and dryer online. We chose the delivery date that worked best for us. Throughout the process we were kept informed by email and then received a phone call the day prior to delivery to confirm the delivery window. The two guys that brought our appliances out were so friendly, professional and careful with our appliances and our home. They gave us some helpful tips about protecting the stainless steel finish on our new refrigerator. The trash company delivered our trash cans while our appliances were being delivered, and the guys kindly brought the cans in for us without us asking.
