I ordered a John Deere Bagger attachment and a tow behind spreader on Mar 31, delivery scheduled for Apr 9 with the Spreader assembled. On Apr 9 the Bagger arrived and the delivery guys said they still needed to assemble spreader.? I got an email saying the spreader is now being delivered Apr 15, Today. I got a text today with my delivery window being 12-4pm. I waited all day then checked the app to find a NEW DELIVERY DAY of Apr 23. I called the store, was on hold no pick, called Corporate they got through to the delivery mgr who said it still needed to by assembled. A little 130lb spreader! I asked if they could just deliver and I'll assemble myself and they said MAYBE on Friday. 2 days later. I was disgusted and Canceled the Order and the So Called mgr could not even give me a confirmation number!! Worst customer service ever. They said the water line was slightly corroded so they wouldn't even try to put new ones on and refused to hook up the old ones. Said he had to go to the truck for a moment and JUST LEFT!! Don't ever order blinds here. 1. You can't get someone to the station to help order. 2. If the order is messed up you will NEVER get a manager to call you back no matter how many notes you leave. I made the mistake of making a second order and the company still can't send the correct items. But then you can't get an associate to help you fix the order. This is the absolute worst Lowe's you could shop at. I remember a time not too long ago when this was a decent place to shop. You could make an order online, and pick it up a couple hours later. Now, you make an online order (in stock items) during morning hours, and it won't be ready (if it ever is) for several days. I'm fed up with this place and I'm canceling my Lowe's Credit Card. Too many times I order small things I need, show several in stock then two days later I get an email the item has been cancelled, and the remaining is still pending. When employees tell you it's the worst place they've ever worked and cannot wait until they find a new job, you know it's a joke. Not to mention, they let all the kids that work there wear whatever they want. I literally had no idea this kid worked there, until I saw him go to the back to grab an order. You sometimes come across a nice and helpful person here, but somehow I often end up speaking to the most condescending or unpleasant employees. Typically when I find someone to ask a simple question to, it's like I'm causing them the biggest inconvenience in the world. Today I called and spoke with a very patronizing lady at the Pro Shop desk, who basically laughed at my question about whether the saw was fixed. I called in before driving over there today, since yesterday one of the employees said the repair guy was on their way that afternoon to fix the saw. The woman I spoke with today, when I asked her if she could check in on it said "well if it was broken yesterday, no way it's fixed today" and insinuated that the guy from yesterday was lying about it being fixed on a Sunday, and didn't even bother to confirm even though she obviously didn't know the saw was even broken in the first place. The only reason I go here instead of Home Depot is because it's closer, but I'm beginning to thing the longer drive is worth it. read more

We moved to Georgia from Kansas on May 27th. The house we bought did not have a fridge so we purchased one on May 27th from the Lowe's Home Improvement. We paid $1810 + tax for the refrigerator which we were told would be delivered and installed on May 28th. May 28th we wait from 8am to 8pm at home as they told us THAT was the time window and that someone would contact us 40 minutes before they arrived. 7:20pm rolls around and still no contact. We called the store only to be told that our delivery had been changed to two days later without anyone having contacted us. We tell them we have a newborn and we would never have agreed to this so the person says, okay, we can do it tomorrow(the 29th). Same thing happens. We go into the store again and speak with an assistant manager, Stephen, who was very helpful and who ended up delivering it to us at 10pm in his personal vehicle because no one else did. It is now 6/5 and the water feature (we were told it would be installed 5/31) is still unconnected and the trash from the refrigerator, uncollected. Stephen worked extremely hard to try to help us out and deserves a raise but he is LITERALLY one of only maybe four employees worth anything at this location. My husband and I were hung up on once and twice, respectively, TODAY ALONE(not to mention earlier in the week). Oh, I forgot, even at 10pm when he should have gotten off at 5, Stephen said he would have installed it himself but wasn't sure how to or I have no doubt he would have. After we get our appliances that we have already paid for I will NEVER shop here again. I would cancel my other orders but hey, I've already been waiting this long and I need them, like, LAST WEEK. A word of advice to upper management- FIRE EVERYONE AND CLEAN HOUSE(except Stephen, the two ladies in appliances that were kind and pleasant, and the vet who helped us pick out our grill) Seriously AND Sincerly- STAY AWAY if you need anything delivered and/or installed and if you expect even a smidgen of customer service(once again unless on the off chance you have the pleasure of running into the above mentioned folks. Went in to purchase a wheel barrow. To make a very long story short, I paid and then went outside to the wheel barrows and waited 20 minutes and no one came to unlock one. Went back in and had them page someone again.... no one showed up. ONE HOUR after I paid, I went to customer service to request a refund. This used to be a great store to shop, but it has really degraded over the last couple of years. This store used to be well staffed with helpful/knowledgeable people and it was very organized/clean. Now you're lucky, if you can find anyone to help you, and several aisles are so cluttered with products scattered on the floor it's a OSHA trip & fall hazard just waiting to happen. One big problem I have with this store now is the open merchandise boxes and damaged products. I had to waste a numerous amount of time trying to find a box of merchandise that wasn't opened/damaged and one where items were not missing. "LOADING" When I need loading assistance I usually have to wait an extended period of time because the cashier has no idea where the loading person has disappeared to. I purchased a washer from the below Lowes on Monday July 20. We were told it would deliver "after 8" on July 25. When it was not here by 5:30, my husband called and after calling delivery 6 times and finally having someone pick up after the 18th ring (yes, by then he was counting) and tell him they meant between 8 & 8, we were a bit warm, but it was not 8pm yet. Never came. And we had plans to leave early this weekend as it never occurred to us the washer would not come Friday. So today I called at 705 am (after calling to cancel our reservations) and getting an answer on the third try after 22 rings and was put on hold for 50 minutes. After 35 minutes I gave the phone to my husband to stay on hold while I got dressed thinking (not really, I knew I was being ignored) that they would pick up before I had to go down there. Never happened. When I got there, I went to the customer service counter and explained why I was there and asked for the manager. He went over to an area behind a wall and the other man (not the manager, I know him) told him to call Gary in shipping. He did and Gary said they only had one driver yesterday and that it would be out today. No "I'm sorry"; no phone call yesterday for us to reschedule so we could go on our small but sorely needed excursion; no face to face with "Gary". Why is it so hard to get through the layers of people at Lowe's? Why does my employer expect me to take responsibility for the mistakes my department makes and call irate customers or at least come out from behind the curtain and look at them. You take the kudos along with the lumps where I come from. The customer service person I spoke to was very nice, but he was not the responsible party. He assured me it would not happen again. Of that, he was dead on. It won't. It is 3:11 pm and I am on hold once again (after finally getting someone to answer the phone) going on 42 minutes. There is smoke coming out of my ears. Took me over an hour to check out with a Lowes gift card and a gift receipt. Store claims they cannot provide gift receipts. Staff had no idea how to issue a gift receipt. Was told by check out representative I "cld just walk across the floor and find a manager to speak to." Then had to wait 20 mins to get a manager on customer service desk.... Who took another 40 plus mins to figure out how to do a refund! Meanwhile customer service desk is queuing up behind me. Staff look overworked and stressed probably coz they don't have adequate training. Have had similar experiences at this store earlier. Explanation was that it's a new store.. they are still learning.. well its been a while since they have been open.. if they can't figure out how to run simple transactions I don't know if being an old or new store really matters. We spend hundreds of dollars a month in this store, and we will now, go to Home Depot or elsewhere. We just left, after checking out for a total of over $330 for two toilets, 2 pieces of wood, and weed trimmer string. After the checkout person paged someone 4 times, we watched at least four of the loading help, all rush rapidly, to the bathroom near the checkout, at the same time, to get out of helping us load the purchases we made. The cashier saw one strong young employee rapidly heading to the restroom, and when she started to ask him to help us, he threw up his hands at her, and shook his head belligerently at her, telling her "no, I have to go to the bathroom." After waiting for much too long, we decided to try and load it ourselves. (Our son was going to help us unload them when we got home). My husband is 70 years old, and has had open heart surgery, and back surgery, and this happens all the time. Usually someone in the parking lot ends up having to help, which we usually do for them, when we are able to. This is ridiculous how lazy these people are. They are a good example of entitled, sorry, employees who are only there for a paycheck. The thousands of dollars in purchases we make in your store a year will be wisely spent elsewhere, even if we have to go a little further down the road. We have finally had enough. We were so upset, we left the weed trimmer string, along with the receipt, at either, the check out, or in the parking lot, while we were trying to lift the toilets onto the truck. (a customer felt sorry for us, and helped load one) No one will even answer the phone for us to to inquire if they found it, as always. We will just chalk it up to a good lesson learned, and buy the $9.99 trimmer string we lost somewhere else, without even having to deal with them again. Hopefully the toilets work, because now we don't even have a receipt. I hope these employees don't have elderly relatives that are treated this way. They would be furious. read more
