She was very patient, very knowledgeable and super helpful in the process. She actually even had a sample of the floor we chose and a white cabinet that we were able to put up against the slabs to make sure it all worked together. The gentleman that came to do our template was so friendly and detail oriented. He took his time to make sure everything was perfect and answer any of our questions. We were able to go back to Choice Granite and select what sections of the slab would be used and where. You could tell the pride they took in their work and were so dedicated to getting it just right. The install day came and the install team was fantastic. They were efficient, professional and very friendly. Everything went smoothly. The finished product is awesome! You can tell just how much time they put into make sure everything was perfect. The backsplash lines up perfectly with the design on the actual counter etc. They were a true pleasure to work with and I'm so thankful that our contractor took us there!

Their work was excellent. The template guy was thorough and accurate. Fabrication was completed on the day they promised and the install team was punctual. They took care not to damage any of the rest of the house during the install process. Worth noting that due to an error on my part, they had to make a second trip to install a part of the countertop. Pricing was reasonable given the scope of work we requested, which included substantial hand-prep for the hearths (curved to fit the fireplace). The install techs are pretty quiet, but I'm paying them to install countertops, not to talk my ear off. They were certainly professional and the install was perfect (incl a seam that was flawless). I can't speak to the old reviews here, but I had numerous interactions with the office staff, the install manager, and the team- everyone was professional and courteous. They delivered exactly what they said they would, and the price I was quoted.

    This review is based on my experience with Lowe's Home Improvement which I believe originated at…read morethe location at the North Hills, McCandless Crossing in Pittsburgh, PA. I made the purchase of a brand new GE appliance smart stove. On their website I chose this stove, I bought the necessary plug that was needed for this particular stove, I bought the optional insurance/warranty package, I bought the delivery service, I bought the taking away of the old stove option, I bought the instillation option too. It took about a week for the next delivery date. I provided two (2) means of communication to them. They could contact me and another person that I elected to represent for this delivery. We both at the beginning received both emails and texts regarding the delivery of the stove. Delivery day came, and we both received the message that it was on its way to the house now. I welcomed the delivery men, and then I stepped aside so that they could do the job. After the removal of the old stove, one of the delivery men went to do the connection but hit a snag. The plug that we bought was not the appropriate plug for our house. So, one of the delivery men took a photo of the socket behind the stove, and informed me that they will have to take the plug back and swap it for the correct plug. I said ok, and I was told that it would NOT be the same day for them to return and finish the installation. I again said ok! About (2) days had passed since the first delivery and we were yet to be contacted by Lowe's about finishing the installation. Yesterday at 10:56 a.m I what sounded like a delivery truck outside looked out of my window and there was a Lowe's delivery truck in the front of my home. I was rightfully so ticked-off because NOBODY from Lowe's had ever contacted either of us about that being the return date for the completed installation!! I opened the door, and the same guy as before was standing there telling me that they were here to finish installing the stove. I looked at him in the eye and inquired as to why nobody from Lowe's contacted us for their return right now? This man proceeded to stutter some, and said that yes they did let us know about the return. I questioned him again, and asked whom and how they let us know because I had NO emails, texts, or phone calls about it. The man pulls out the trusty smartphone and tells me that he called the other person at 10:42 a.m and rattled off her number to me and then was NOW at my home at 10:56 a.m! I asked him if he spoke to her or left any voicemail with her? He said "yes" but not an answer to the question. I asked him why he claimed to call her and make contact at 10:42 a.m. and then show-up at 10:56 a.m. without confirming that anyone would have been home on that day at that time? Now, it was not bad enough that Lowe's sent him to our home without prior consent, but he shows up WITH A KID!! The kid couldn't have been any older than 7! I was even MORE RIGHTFULLY SO PISSED-OFF about his bringing the kid, but the kid kept on running in and out of my house front door allowing many insects to fly in and the vulnerability of my kitten running out of the house! The kid was jumping around my home and picking up papers on my desk and scattering my personal documents! They finally left about 10 minutes after their arrival. I sent a text to my sister whom was the other contact for this job, and asked her if he contacted her? She said NO and there was not any log of a strange phone number calling her OR texting her. When she got back home we started to look over the new stove together. After they were supposed to be done, they never pushed it back into the space and it sits halfway out of the space intruding in the middle a bit. They took off the protective rubber mat that was purchased to cover and protect the glass surface and threw it on top of my kitchen counter in a lump. There is a drawer on the bottom of the stove, so we opened it and started to take out the items inside of it. There was a plastic bag inside that had manuals and some odd metal piece. There was a baggie with more papers in it taped to the drawer. I had the hardest time getting it off because it was strapped under the stove drawer to this large white hard cardboard plank. We came to find out that the metal bracket was supposed to be installed by them for safety matters against tipping over. Again, they did not install that! Reading through the stoves literature, we found that they also did NOT level the stove to adjust the height with the counter tops on each side. The literature also noted in step one, that they the installer was supposed to remove all items that were inside of the stove and drawer, and remove that cardboard plank that was located inside under the stove and drawer!! Had we not found these things immediately as we did, I cannot imagine the threat and danger to our home, pets, property, and ourselves if we just turned on the stove and oven

Here's how it goes when you arrive. You pull into one of many parking spots with a sign that says call this phone number and enter code and hit pound. You call and some recording comes on and you enter the code for the curbside area. It rings fast busy. You call back, it rings and you get on hold. You call back, and you wait on hold. You wait. You look around at others parked near you, dialing and waiting and looking back at you. 15 minutes pass. You put your mask on and decide to go in. There is a long line. You wait in a queue as various construction workers and home shoppers walk up and ask "is this the line to get into the store?" No, it's not and stop talking so closely. Eventually, you get up to the poor guy at the desk. It's just him. One guy. Fending off angry people. You are kind to him and shout through your mask with your order number. He goes to the racks and finds your item and off you go. There has to be a better way to do this with adequate staffing. There is no way they can serve people in their cars. No way. So don't act like this is even an option. Shame on you, Lowe's. Do better. We need you to.
