So our tractor wouldn't start. So we took it to Fletcher's and they told us it was beyond fixing…read moreand they would buy it from us for $50. Or they can fix it for $1200. We ended up taking it to a guy we found on Facebook called Milich Small equipment repair in new Alexandria. He had it running and working for less than $20. We ended up giving him $100 tip because he wouldn't take anything for service. I do not recommend Fletcher. There are a bunch of crooks and they don't know what they're doing. The only reason we ever went to them was because they did one of our push mowers. And they told us that it was fixed they had to put a new carburetor on. Which somehow cost more than a lawnmower. So if you need repairs done, I will go to milich small equipment repair. he charges a flat rate of $50 for a service or less if it's something small. Any charges you when he get charged for the park. So if the park cost $20 to him he charged you $20 nothing extra like Fletcher. The carburetor that they put on our lawnmower, ended up dying like two years later. When Dan put on the new carburetor on our push mower, it cost the same amount. And he told us that it was a Chinese version that they put on that's why I didn't last that long but they charged us $300 for the carburetor.

I also got a cardinal Lobelia which surprisingly came back this year! I planted it so late last year that I wasn't sure if the roots had time to establish. I got a statue of a rabbit bc I lost my girl rabbit, Stormy. Today, 2017 I went for late potatoes, but they were way too old and sprouted. I got a huge dark knight Butterfly Bush for $12.99. It would be $30 at other nurseries. I got (5) health Bronze Fennel plants. I love the smell of fennel. It's is hard to find this fennel. I got sage. One of the sage is tricolored. I got (10) of these plants for $30. I got (2) beautifully perfumed and healthy purple Monardas, Bee Balm. They were $8.99 each. Best Feeds has a frequent buyer club and it works well for me. I was even able to visit Penn State's North Park garden. They grew Buckwheat in one of the plots again this year. It is a great summer cover crop.

Don't bother visiting this establishment…read more We went in on a Friend's recommendation to look for shingles. We are re-shingling our entire roof so Ambridge Lumber had to gain between $700-$1200 from our business. Unfortunately they showed us they couldn't care less about having two people come in and spend that kind of money. We walked in to no greeting. We wandered around the store for about 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Turns out, what we needed was upstairs which was totally unmarked besides "Showroom" we found this ourselves. We found the meager shingles section, without pricing of course, so we went back downstairs and actually waited in line for the cashier to get help. Once it was our turn, two guys that the cashier knew butted in front of us and got help from the cashier. This cashier was 40+ years old but acted like he was 17, gabbing on and on. So we waited a couple more minutes. There were 2 more "employees" (in regular clothes, no name tags) wandering around. Still no acknowledgment and we didn't have anything in our hands indicating we just needed checked out! We were the only other people in the store! We were still waiting in line when we decided to leave and as we left, still no one tried to help us. It's for the best because as we were wandering around their store looking for what we actually needed, we got a feel for their pricing and it's astronomical compared to other places. We'll be going to Lowes. Thanks Ambridge Lumber for saving us the hassle of dealing with you! Avoid Ambridge Lumber at all costs.
