I just bought a new house and will be doing all new floors. Wandered around the flooring dept, finally went to the department station where there were 3 employees gathered chatting with 2 people who were obviously personal friends. I stood there for 10 minutes; the girl in the red vest that actually said "Customer Service" noticed me, said "Be right with ya" over her shoulder and went on talking. Went to buy a fridge 6 years ago. Showed 3. Got there all 3 were displays. Wouldn't sell. Had my crap in ice chests. Brought one home my wife hated. Woke up to a hammering compressor Friday. Left at 6AM for Lowes, took off work. Every fridge we wanted was NOT IN STOCK. Went thru 8 then left. Worst customer service ever. Had a one month wait on an item we were told might take as long as two weeks. Tried to find the status of the order only to have rude customer service tell us that they had no idea if our order had shipped. Everything is on hold while we wait and can't even find out if it was in transit or even shipped. My wife just went to pick the large item up with their "curbside pickup", only to be told that this item wasn't covered because it was purchased at the store. What is the difference? The email we received said that IT WAS available for this purchase. All but one employee was rude to my disabled wife and that is inexcusable. I will drive the extra hour to the Yukon Home Depot from now on. I noticed that most of the negative complaints here are for poor customer service, some from seven years ago. You'd think they would address this. Think I'll pay a little more and go to the less crowded Ace, Tractor Supply, and Atwood's for the small stuff. Shop local, yeah right. Lowes Companies takes zero responsibility when it comes to defective appliances. I recently purchased a new major appliance and it was delivered with existing damage that not only made the unit unfit for its intended purpose but also irrepairable. The store cites a 48-hour return policy and will push you to go through the manufacturer's warranty process. It is apparent to me through this experience that Lowe's first and only priority is their bottom line. Lowe's has channels to refund damaged items and be reimbursed from their respective manufacturers, that however takes time that they don't want to spend, but more importantly it costs them money. They can't sell a repaired appliance at full price and will then have to heavily discount it to move it. Their solution is to institute a new 48 hour return policy and transfer the burden of the manufacturer warranty process onto innocent consumers. 48 hours is, to any reasonable person, not a reasonable period for major appliance returns. Lowe's knows this and it is by design. Lowe's assumedly took losses through the pandemic and their solution to mitigate losses on appliances is to shorten the return window to a period so short that no one will be able to return an appliance to them. Lowe's Companies Inc. and this store #0205 specifically do not stand behind the products they sell, they refuse to acknowledge any sort of responsibility or implied warranty of merchantability and expect consumers to just accept defective merchandise. It is apparent that Lowe's does not want to deal with the innate difficulties of being an appliance dealer, such as returns and RA's and the losses that inherently come as a byproduct of appliance sales yet they will happily accept the revenue that the appliance department generates. My best suggestion is to work with a local appliance dealer who both understands and accepts the corporate responsibility and fair business practices that are required to deal in the appliance trade. read more

Stephen (Steven?) is the friendliest person I have ever worked with at any Lowe's and almost any retail store. He always has a positive attitude and is not only happy to help but actually knowledgeable. The only problems with this Lowe's are that you almost always have to wait quite awhile in line and the ladies in the customer service section always seem either stressed out or just like they aren't having a very good day. read more

Awful awful delivery experience. I went into the store and picked out a whole kitchen appliance set. They had everything in stock besides the stove I wanted. I agreed to wait for the stove and have it all delivered the same day. The delivery day came and then they claimed to ONLY have the stove and no longer had in stock what they had the day I went IN STORE. And now they won't give my money back. Still in a long process of trying to get my money for appliances that NEVER came. It's fraud they have all my money and are collecting interest and won't give it back. read more

This Lowe's is actually worse than most if that is possible. You can't get help here and when you finally see someone that works there they don't have a clue. Really, that is the case at most Lowe's but this one is particularly bad. Another annoying thing at this one is that things seem even more disorganized and haphazardly places. The delivery service scheduling is poor and unorganized. We were told several varying dates for a fridge delivery. When we finally got it the team that delivered it did a good job. Today one of my coworkers went up to lowes had a piece of glass they needed trimmed and it was cut wrong so they had to come back to get it fixed. Then it took an hour for anyone to even help them just for like half an inch fix. Finally once they got back to the office we tried all lines several times and no one ever answered. very disappointed read more

The Lowe's in Enid is fine. It is pretty typical with exactly what you would expect to find in a hardware store. My family and I have come here many times over the years when we have wanted to update our house - namely for landscaping, painting, new carpet, new appliances, etc. Most things here are easy to find, and there is usually a helpful employee nearby who can show you where things are and even offer suggestions to contribute to whatever project has brought you to Lowe's. read more

I'm a loyal Lowe's shopper and I buy a lot of supplies and merchandise here. Most of the time, it is a good experience. They have a few staff people who are exceptional here in Enid - appliances, hardware, electrical. I do get a little tired at this place and many others of the customer service people, loaders, checkers, and people whose job it is to serve you, the person who pays their paycheck, being grumpy about having to take care of your needs. Today I had a load-out guy who was supposed to load some fence material who whined the whole time about how he never has any help and has to work so hard in unacceptable conditions.To punish Lowes for being so inconsiderate toward him, he did a crummy and slow job for me (while I helped). Spare me please! Do what it takes to care for the customer and bitch to your boss, not me. This attitude and customer service is becoming more prevalent all the time. Maybe Lowes should hire their mommies so the employees have someone who cares to gripe to. The 2 lumber yards in my little town would never treat a customer that way, but they are too small to carry all the stuff you need. read more

This is your typical Lowe's experience. While this isn't the nicest one I've been to I still seem to always find what I need and usually find it quickly. They have a pretty good selection for such a small store. The staff seemed to me to be very helpful every time I need something or have a question. One time I wanted to build a coffee table out of reclaimed pallet wood and the people in Pro-services got me exactly what I was looking for and helped load everything up for me. When I go to the tool section and ask where a specific thing is I am always led right to it. There is never a moment of them asking what is that or you want a so and so hmmm let me think. The paint department is decent as well. If you need something talk to Jamie and she will set you up with exactly what you're looking for, great worker! They give a 10% military discount which is nice on even the smallest thing, pennies add up! read more

The delivery manager was able to have the microwave,stove, and dishwasher delivered (even though the fridge had not come in yet) so that they could be installed before my husband shipped out. We are remodeling our home and have spent 10's of thousands of dollars at the Enid Lowes on special order cabinets for our kitchen, bathrooms and utility room. We purchase a brand of faucet that only Lowes carries and didn't have the receipt for a return. Asked to only to exchange for a type we liked better since picking our granite countertop. Was told without a receipt there was "nothing" they could do. Went home searched and finally found the receipt. Returned both faucets today for my money back, no exchange. Spoke to a manager and advised that was the last time I step foot in yeh Enid Lowes. read more

For several years I have always had a problem with Lowe's. Anytime I have had something delivered, they have delivered the wrong item. There is a person in appliance's that is willing to sell me something that he has at home instead of selling what's in the store (shady). This is the last time that I deal with Lowe's. I ordered a drop top stove on the 10th , I was told it would be in in a week. A week later I called to confirm deliver date and was told it takes 2 weeks. I ordered on Monday the 10th Lowe's get a shipment in on wednesdays and Friday's, today is the 24th. They have had 4 deliveries since I have ordered. So I call today to check delivered time and they told me that my order was put in on the 20th. So after calling several times and 4 hangups I asked for a refund and they said ok. 30 minutes later I I recieved a call from a store manager and she said she was going to check and make sure that they didn't have what I ordered. Well we got disconnected again and I called back 3 times and each time I was on hold for at least 2 to 5 minutes before it hung up. So needless to say I am done with Lowe's. This is my warning to you. Find another alternative. read more

The 1 star is mainly for my install/delivery experience over the last few years. I have continued to use Lowes because they are the only act in town, but not anymore. The latest incident? I ordered tile and paid for installation through a 3rd party. At the point of sale, the lowes employee told me that the installer would pick up the tile. I called a couple weeks later to see if the installer had picked the tile up yet and was told that instead of the installer doing the pick-up, the tile was being delivered to my house in two days. What?! No heads up, no warning, no phone call to let me know or schedule a delivery time. I explained that I live alone and I work during the week, so I can't just receive a phone call when the delivery truck is on its way to my house and leave work whenever I want. So we scheduled a drop off for 8-10, but by 9:45 I started to worry so I called and they said "we thought delivery was between 10-12. Oops." So now even more time off of work waiting. Finally, after clearing a space in my garage, the delivery person showed up and said "oh the tile has to go into the house to acclimate; didn't anyone tell you this?" Um, NO. So now there's tile and grout piled in my living room, and I'm almost two hours late to work. From now on I'll pay extra money to drive to Stillwater or OKC before I deal with Lowes for installations again. read more
