We changed direction and walked into B&J's. We saw the exact model we were looking for and he said he was simply waiting for several to be delivered. Within one week we had our refrigerator in the house and cooling our food--protecting us from spoilage. Without the fast help and pleasant experience of working with them, we would still be suffering from melted ice cream, moldy food and daily trips to Walmart (which is almost worse than rotten food in itself). Davis appliance came out in Febuary to work on Two refrigerators and try to fix an Icemaker in one…read morethat was leaking (Whirlpool) and in the other (GE) an icemaker that had stopped working. He proceeded to replace the Solinoid valves in both refrigerators and on the one that was not working brought an Ice maker that was not a replacement for the Hotpoint ( GE ) and had a different designed plug which he said would work so I helped him solder the plug from the old icemaker on to this one and he installed it and said give it 24 hours to start making Ice. He was Paid $ 298.00 for this. 24hrs later the Hot Point (GE) still had not made any ice and the Whirlpool was still leaking. He promised to return. Never Showed. As a side note his phone was a cell and he said that he had only a small number of messages allowed and when called most of the time it would say mailbox it full or it would got to Voicemail. With repeated calls and messages left that were response of nil. When I did contact on several occasions he promised to return but never showed up. At one time he said a family menber was hospitalized and that was the reason for the delay. It is Now May 27th when I am writing this. Still no response and No ICE. Another tech came out and checked both Icemaker and refrigerators and fould that the solinoid valve in the Hot point was not the correct type and the valve was burnt out. He spent 30 Minutes reviewing appliances. Said he need to order replacement valve. In the Whirlpool that leaked when the new Tech examined the icemaker he discover that the coating was deteriorating and this was causeing the the leaking and it need to be replace. (Davis Appliance never examined the icemaker it self. Now June 1, 2020 New Tech Replace Valve in Hot Point and Purchased replacement Icemaker ( $ 45.00 )for Hot point and now is making Ice Tech Charged me 130.00. So for 50 for Icemaker and 130 for replacement valve I have Ice. this Is 18.00 Less that I paid Davis Appliance now I have Ice. Moral of Story is Paid 298.00 for davis no Ice, burnt out valve, 2nd hand icemaker, and 3 months waiting when I could have call different Tech and had to wait 5 days paid less and now have Ice.

I will say I was a little disappointed recently, in one of my orders where most of the order was picked, but one of the items was not it was lattice, and it was one of the larger items however I had to go into the store because they had many in stock and pick it up myself and then go to customer service and have that canceled off of my order. With that being my only complaint and suggestion for improvement overall the staff has been great and knowledgeable. The store is well stocked and clean, and they have excellent sales on plants. One thing that I really appreciate is the program for the military discount, which is 10%. It's easy to input on online orders and in store. Also the app allows you to accrue points and get rewards, like five dollars off your next purchase. Every dollar helps when you have projects you're doing, so getting enrolled in that program & using the app is a must!

I called the "company" I USED to trust, but have had doubts about in the past two years as their younger crew had made mistakes. They said my old R-22 compressor was bad and tried to upsell me. I asked about the capacitor and hard start, but they said those were good and the compressor was just shot. I asked the "company" if they could just replace the old compressor and put in Bluon or some of the approved R-22 replacements and they said it wouldn't work, it would gum up the system and the price would be so close to a replacement system. I don't have $10,000. Called Milt at American Refrigeration. HE on the other hand stated that there is no problem with (427a??) and that he could do the job for under $3000. With his honesty in mind, I asked him to come out and also give me an estimate for a new system. While scoping the house, HE tested the capacitor and IT WAS BAD!!! He replaced it and now we're back to feeling civilized! Anyone reading this, good old-fashioned professionals who take care of the community are hard to find. I honestly didn't think they existed anymore. Thank the Lord I scrolled down a bit further in the Enid HVAC search and found American Refrigeration & Heating.

Wonderful coincidences when I really needed it. My air conditioning unit stopped working suddenly…read more(NOT the "wonderful coincidence!). With weeks until my home warranty policy expires, I call for service and am told to use "whoever I choose." I tried several companies who were either closed on Sunday, or said I'd have to wait until Monday. NOT pleasant news!! Fortunately I discovered Essential Heating & Air, who were on other A/C jobs, but was able to get to my home inside of 2 hours. Enid is in a heatwave and the house has hit 85°; as I'm thinking "I'm at my limit, feeling sick and the dogs are showing discomfort," Chance calls to say he's on his way. He diagnosed the issue very rapidly, fixed the A/C compressor and washed it down. Before he left, the house was cooling off beautifully. The wonderful coincidence is I found the perfect company...available on a Sunday, very familiar with, and on a first-name-basis with my warranty company, so he was really able to streamline the process with that company. Just 4 days ago, a neighbor across the street had the same issue, but used a different company, who gave him a discount. The total bill, including a weekend emergency fee, labor and parts, was still less than what my neighbor paid to his company. Glad to say, I finally used my warranty company and only paid a policy deduction fee. Thank you Chance & Essential Heating & Air!!
