I've been going here for goat food, chicken feed, rabbit food, dog and cat food and other items since I was old enough to shop on my own. I've seen many changes over the years. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw chicks for sale today! They weren't new​ hatch. They were older than that. Most were feathered. 1/2 price sale going. It was also pet food sale week end. I'm a regular shopper and thought highly of this particular store until today. Representing the local military community, I went in to ask for permission to place small flyers for a charity event on cars in their parking lot, fully prepared to be told "No" but hoping for an enthusiastic "Yes." The manager I asked, named Scot, gave me permission and even encouraged me to hand them out at the door instead of having to navigate their busy parking lot on one of their biggest No Sales Tax events of the year. Happy to get the go-ahead, I stood near the exit and described the event to anyone interested for a minute or so before a head manager, Ken, walked up shaking his head, wagging his finger and telling me to leave. That confused me, but I asked him, "Sir, are you sure? This is a charity event created by your military community." I tried to show him the small flyer but he waved it away and said, "No you need to leave. If we let you do it, then everyone will want to do it. Get out of this store." He says this while continuing to walk forward, encroaching on my personal space and forcing me back up toward the exit. I'm frustrated but just ready to go. As I get about halfway to my car, I'm keeping an eye out for any of my fellow Vance AFB Spouses and active duty service members who are waiting for the go-ahead to put flyers on vehicles. I don't immediately see them, but I do recognize a random friend and try to respond when they say "Hello" but Ken suddenly barks from close behind me, "You're Harassing our customers! I told you to leave!" I didn't realize he was right behind me so his yelling scared me badly. I said, "I know this person, I am not advertising!" He yells back, "Get out of here!" I turn toward walking to my car again, entirely shaken, and a cart attendant named Ron, whose kind face I see often when shopping at Atwoods, stops to ask what the flyer is about. I pause for a moment just to say, "it's an Air Force charity event for the community" but before I get half of those words out, Ken is still behind me and shouting, "I told you to leave! If you don't get out of here right now, I'm calling the cops!" Ron was startled by this bit responded to Ken saying, "I Asked Her, she didn't--," but Ken cut him off saying, "I DON'T CARE! SHE'S HARASSING THIS STORE AND I WILL CALL THE COPS!" I loudly replied, "then I will just have to let Vance AFB know how I was just treated." Ken said, "yeah you do that." I got into my car and saw my spouse network approaching, looking concerned. I told them to leave because he was threatening the police. They were confused and tried to ask me more questions but I was distraught and needed the chance to breathe. When I finally felt calm enough to drive, due to the busy parking lot, I was forced to drive past the front of the building and saw Ken standing there arms folded like he was so proud of himself for intimidating a woman. Unless this man is longer able to built customers and Co-workers, I will no longer endorse Atwoods. And neither will a lot of military personnel and supporters in the Enid community. Incredibly awful customer service. The management of this atwoods is terrible. A good friend of mine was accosted by Ken, the manager. He yelled at her and was incredibly inappropriate with his behavior. She left crying and visibly shaking from the encounter. Never shopping here again. You shouldn't either. Today the wife of one of the military's most productive members was threatened, intimidated, and humiliated in front of her friends and other customers. She received permission to hand out flyers for a local military charity that benefits the local community. After a few minutes another manager accosted her and denied her approval to hand out flyers. When she informed him that she already had permission he denied her again. She began leaving immediately and ran into a friend in the parking lot. The manager actually followed her OUTSIDE and yelled at her to saying that she was accosting the customers (though it was a personal conversation that she was having with one of her friends). He then threatened to call the police on her if she didn't leave. She came home in tears and felt physically and emotionally intimidated and humiliated. Simply because she wanted to pass out flyers. Please help us get the reviews and attention this store deserves for such poor customer service and immoral practice of human compassion. Regardless of giving her permission, there are WAY better ways of asking someone to leave and to deny permission to hand out flyers. They refuse to apologize. Please review them on yelp. A woman seeking to help the world by handing out flyers that benefit the community and the military should not have to feel physically threatened. They have lost my business and I highly recommend you shop at Lowe's as an alternative. Lowe's denied her handing out flyers as well, but handled it in a professional and kind manner. The worst customer service ever. I received a pair of overalls for Christmas in the wrong size. I am told that I will have to drive them over 300 miles to the store to exchange for the correct size. Now if my daughter had ordered them off the internet I could mail them back, but since she bought them while on vacation I have to take them into the store. read more

I called this morning to find out if the store was open....the lady that answered the phone was rude and asked me who I was calling. DUH I called Atwoods. She transferred me to the store and the girl that answered was even ruder. I said that I was wanting store hours and she informed me, rudely, that they opened at 7 every day. I guess someone got up to early. read more

Great experience. Great customer service. Friendly staff. They always have sales. The only place in town to get Diamond Naturals dog food. Prices area great. read more
