Ordered a frameless glass shower door with installment May 7th with a company lowes contracts with. The cost was $1588. The gentleman came and did his measurements. I was told it would take for 4 to 6 weeks for the whole process to be completed. Three weeks into the project, I called the glass company to make sure they were on schedule. I found out they had not ordered my glass doors yet! My order slipped through the cracks bc of a lack of communication. Anyway, the order was expedited and at 4 weeks supposedly lowes had my doors at the store. The glass door company was supposed to contact the installer to make an appt for delivery. That took another 5 days AFTER I CALLED the installer. Never given a reason why they did not call me first. The installer informed me it was going to take another 3 weeks for delivery bc the company was based out of NASHVILLE, 3 hours away! Not only that, they make deliveries to three different states and my order was in a queue for Georgia deliveries weeks later...delays, delays, delays. So, beware of who lowes contracts with, stay on top of the whole process and ask lots of questions before and during your project. read more

Todays experience- came in for assistance with an adaptor for the dishwasher/ we had to page 3 times for someone to come and when someone finally came, they went straight to a man and helped them. This Lowe's is located sandwiched between highway 20 and highway 41 in a shopping center called Bartow Market Place. We went to Lowes this afternoon for a few specific item and were greeted as we entered the garden department by Barbara. She is very cordial, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Our time was short so my husband asked her if she knew where to find something that he already knew would probably be on the other side of the store. She advised him of the isle she thought it would on as well as where on that isle he would find it. My husband is a famous man looker so he ended up asking for additional information once he got to the other side of the store. That information was incorrect so he went back to exactly what Barbara had told him and there it was! It is so nice to have reliable associates available. Thank you Barbara! read more

When I complained the individual was very nice and explained that they were not staffed fully. My tub and medicine chest were damaged and not useable. I had to reorder a tub which also came damaged. I had to pay a lot more for an in stocked tub and after about 6 months of order and reorder I finally got my second bath finished. My household of 3 adults and 2 children had suffered for 6 months with only 1 bathroom for 6 months. read more

I should've known by the reviews that our experience wouldn't be different. We need glass cut and was instructed by an associate on the aisle to hit the call button. We waited for 10 mins before my husband went to find someone to help. It took another 5 mins for them to get a certified glass cutting associate over to the area. My husband and I are frequent customers of Lowes. We purchase everything for our home there. The only thing I can say that disturbs us is..... Checking out in the afternoon ( not at closing) it seems like they just send everyone home except one cashier. We had to stop in a few days ago and had to go through customer service and waited for almost 45 minutes only one cashier and all she wanted to do was answer the phone, called for help, twice. Finally someone showed up, saw a manager walk by and he turned away to another direction. Just think of your customers, we aren't there to just hang out. read more

I was shocked to walk into the Cartersville, GA Lowe's store and find almost no one wearing masks and many employees with their masks below their mouths under their chins or only covering their mouths, not their noses. I had read that Lowes was going to require masks around the end of July so I thought I would be safe in your store, but clearly I was not. On Sunday, September 27,2020; My husband & I went to Lowe's in Cartersville, Georgia to purchase screws that hold the 3 prong dryer cord in place for the 5th time after being assisted at Home Depot & Ace Hardware only to get help purchasing the wrong size each time.. The older gentleman in the Hardware department as well as another older gentleman over in the Appliance department went above & beyond their way to take the metal plate off of a dryer to remove a screw to be taken across the store for sizing and locating a packet of just what we needed to attach our power cord to the dryer we had purchased without any screws at all.. We was shocked at their amazing customer service & extremely impressed with the above & beyond measurements taken to making sure we was getting the correct fitting screws.. Their team work was epic & they will always have a customer in us with the customer service the Lowe's employees from the 2 older Gentleman working the Hardware & Appliance Department gave us from their Cartersville, GA location!! -The Bi-Racial Couple read more

lowe's delivery disaster, unprofesssinal, rude anxious to watch superbowl order #398831711 date: 2/2/2020 location: Cartersville, Ga topic: lowes delivery driver angry they had a delivery on superbowl sunday the lowe's delivery drivers were rude, mean and flat out lazy. driver #1 called very angry because he was unable to locate my house. i ask him to please settle down.i explained to him that i was in a brand new subdivision and the address was not appearing in google maps. i asked,"sir where are you? he stated,"i don't know where i am." i was finally able to direct him to me, (pulling teeth). 2 minutes later they arrived.he entered the home, watching the superbowl on his phone. he placed the loud phone, with the superbowl game playing on my counter. he asked which door i would like the frig to be brought in. i showed him the kitchen entrance .he said the door may be too small, but he would measure it. i showed him the front door as option 2. he left both dooors wide opened. 10 minutes later him and driver #2 was bringing the frig through the front door. i assume the kitchen door was not wide enough. he left the kitchen door wide opened never bothered to close it nor let me know to close it. driver #2 entered my home and did not speak.both drivers rippedthe outsideplastic from the frig. , pushed it in the desisgnated slot, plugged it up. driver#2 immmediately left never to be seen again. driver 1 stated "sign here'. on the paper was a checklist of 6 or more to do items, 1. did you give the customer a manual 2. did yoy check for screws 3. adjust the temp i told the driver sir, you have none done anything on the checklist and refused to sign. i opened the frig plastic wrap all inside , blue tape, light bulb not screws connected, manual down in the vegetable tray. absolutely nothing was done. i had to stand over truckdriver #1 as if i was a supervisor and check off everthing on the list one by one. he had attitude and showed frustration.i am a female hjome alone, finally i signed the paper. he retrieved his phone from the counter with the superbowl game playing and left. i contacted lowe's and customer support issued a verbal apology. no onene from upper mananger baothered. they got the 900 bucks for the frig and don't care. read more

Customer service is really bad in this store. I bought 19 faux wood blinds and they had to be cut. The person acted like I was committing a crime by buying these blinds because she had to cut them. Waited two hours to get them cut and when I went to check out with only two registers working I waited patiently in line. Many people went ahead of me in the other line and when I got to the register the lady said I'm going to lunch and I was made to wait in line again. No more I'll go to Home Depot from now on. I ordered a refrigerator online and was later made aware that the model in stock was damaged (small dent). I decided to accept the refrigerator as is because I was informed that the model has been discontinued by the manufacturer. I also received a 10% discount for the damage. Anyway, I waited for the delivery all day today. It was scheduled to occur between 11:20am and 1:30pm. That did not happen. The delivery company informed me that they were experiencing some delays and the time changed to 2:00pm, then 3:30pm, and then 5:00pm. When I contacted the delivery company ((844) 619-8753) at 7:00pm I was informed that contact will be made with the drivers and that my call would be returned. That did not happen. It is almost 10:00pm and I have not heard from the delivery company, lowes is closed, food has been thrown in the trash, I was inconvenienced for an entire day and time wasted is time lost. This was the same issue I experienced 2 weeks ago (minus the damaged appliances). However, the delivery company only showed up 8 hours after the scheduled delivery time. If you are shopping at lowes pick up your items yourself or go to a different store (home depot, brand smart, etc...) that offers quality delivery services and it good customer service. The delivery partnership and third party dealings is not worth your time. You can get the same stuff elsewhere and most competitors price match. read more
