First the flooring department staff in the store are very nice. The installation support department is useless. I had new vinyl plank flooring installed in my whole house. The entire experience was terrible. The worst I have ever had with any company in my life. Do not ever use lowes for anything ever. I cannot stress this enough. Never use Lowes. They added extra work labor and product after part of the floor was removed so I had no choice but to pay. Then I was given a quote for the extra work one day then the next day it was more. No one at Lowes can find the first quote. When I call and ask I am told I can't talk to a manager. Again do not use Lowes ever. If I could give -5 stars I would. read more

Had a fence installed on 05/10 that was missing 3 planks- the contractor stated I had his word he would come back to compete. Never heard back. The debris from the job was also left in my yard. The contractor will not answer or return my calls. I've spent hours on hold with Lowes support, a week ago I was told I would be contacted and a work order would be put in to complete the job and remove the debris and materials. Still here 05/22 and job is incomplete. I have filed a complaint with BBB, and spoken with a lowes support field manager. It's almost exactly like Home Depot, except not! It's been a very long time since I've been into a Lowe's - I really don't remember when. It's even possible I've never been in one. Who knows! Given the oppressive nature of Home Depot and its depressed and unhelpful employees and inability to find most anything there, my expectations weren't high. However, and having made the foolish mistake of going on busy Sunday afternoon, I found parking easily, also found the items I was looking for easily enough - I did ask for help, and the dude was really pleasant - he wasn't 100% sure, but did come back to check on me in line, which was a real surprise. Used self checkout, and got out of the store without and grief, despite the throngs inside. My only complaint would that the displays are a bit too "busy", which is overwhelming, but otherwise, well done. read more

I am so disappointed in my Lowe's. I used to love coming here and spent a lot of money in the garden center. Now the plant prices are outrageous, (even the sale plants). I can never find anyone to help me, and there are never any carts in the garden center... ever! I just left the store with a purchase of potting soil. All of the carts were locked on the outside so I carried the large bag all the way to the inside, past three employees on my way with no offers of help, to the self checkout. Not a soul was around. I hate to write a bad review, but I think from now on, even though this Lowes is 2 minutes from my house, I am going to Home Depot or somewhere else. Well, here's my sad update. I was very dissapointed with my recent trip here, as I've had okay experiences in the past. I'm already nervous to go in anywhere with COVID, but have been pleasantly surprised with most people complying with mask wearing. Not here. Half the employees had the mask below their nose and the same goes for customers. I was heading to the kitchen area to look for a new kitchen sink and had a lot of questions. The two guys at the counter were absolutely no help. They discussed for 5 minutes who I should talk to (why wasn't it them?) and then said two random people "might" be in aisle 41 or 42. I couldn't find anyone, so I asked someone else in that department, who pointed me to someone else who I mistook for a customer because he was on the phone (wearing his mask under his nose as well. The only way I knew he was an employee was because he was wearing a Lowe's vest (a different camoe one that's hard to distinguish that he works there). So I went to the desk again and found the original person, Lisa, who the other guys mentioned. She also started walking closer towards me and had her mask below her nose. I backed away and said could she stand farther back. She did, but pushed her mask up and it fell back down. She said she really couldn't give me much info, other than to pay to schedule someone to come to my house to measure my sink. But why would I do that when she wasn't answering my other questions and wasn't really convincing me to do anything. I was pissed. So I gave up and left. Not getting my business for a new kitchen sink, that's for sure. read more

We had a difficult experience here. We are swapping out some toilets and have been struggling with the coordination between Lowe's themselves and the plumbers contracted via Lowe's installation program. The employees at Lowe's have been doing their best, and the plumbers have been helpful and also doing their best, but Lowe's system that it employs to communicate between us and the contracted plumbers is a nightmare. It has all sorts of issues from inventory availability accuracy, to scheduling and deployment. Getting two toilets installed has been a far greater ordeal than it needs to be. I spent $2300 on a washer and dryer from Lowe's and waited 8 days for delivery. I was given a 4 hour time slot for delivery. I patiently waited 5 1/2 hours before calling the delivery company number I was given. I waited 25 minutes to speak to a person who told me I was one stop away from my delivery. One hour later I got a call from the delivery driver saying he would be here in 10 minutes. Since the delivery company told me the delivery people were not from this area and thinking they may have gotten lost, I waited another 1 1/2 hours and called the delivery driver back. There was no answer. I called the delivery copany and was told they tried to deliver the washer and dryer but no one was there. They had delivered the appliances to an address where I lived 10 years ago! I watched the salesman put my correct address into the computer when I bought these. If the delivery man could call and tell me he was arriving in 10 minutes, couldn't he have called to get the correct address?!?! I canceled the order and went to Jacob from Don's Appliances. I got a better price and MUCH better delivery people. I got my washer and dryer the next day. read more

Seems as though over the last couple of months I've been going in here to get necessary stuff for my bathroom and laundry room. The staff is generally helpful and willing to demonstrate the merchandise as well as make some recommendations. They seem knowledgeable as well. My last major purchase was a new dryer which required me to purchase and new cord to go with it. On the day of my delivery they removed my old dryer and put in the new one but the cord I had purchased was the wrong style. I made several calls to the store and learned that the outlet for my dryer was a range outlet. They sent the manager of the department out that same day with the correct cord. He attached for me, tested the dryer and so far it seems to be working okay The offer a credit card which if used can give you 5% off your purchase or if you purchase exceeds a certain amount you can have 6 month interest free financing. They have a nice conservatory area for your spring gardening needs where you can pay without having to lug it into the store. Prices vary depending upon what you are looking for. read more

I said that I bought everything on the same receipt. She again said this is not ours I don't know what to tell you. I took the Item in a bag to the back of the store found the exact same item with the exact same UPC code took it back to her And said can you please scan again. She did so and now the item she saying is from Lowe's no apologies nothing at all just a waste of my time. Typical big business is displayed at its finest from this corporation and store. We bought a washing machine and we waited patiently for delivery. The day before delivery they called and said it now had cosmetic damage from possibly a forklift. We agreed on a deduction in price based on over the phone description. On delivery the guys said they swapped it out because they "knew" I'd reject it. Well in hindsight and after thinking about it later, Lowes stated they only had this one left so they swapped it with the floor model. 3 days later and it's broken. Mind you they now are giving a different brand washer but it took close to 12 hours and a request for a manager to handle my calls. The appliance department wouldn't answer my calls as I sat on hold each call. Now I wait 3 more days for my new washing machine as my laundry is to the ceiling since I'm involved in dog rescue. There are two big box stores near me, Home Depot (which is closest) and Lowe's. When I need something that my locally-owned, "Mom & Pop," hardware store (Sarasnick's) doesn't carry, I usually stop at H.D. first to see what they have, and then go to Lowe's and compare (and usually buy). I needed a new door, as we are doing a little home re-modeling, and I went to H.D. first, and they had a very small selection of doors, and did not even carry the kind I was looking for, so I went to Lowe's. The selection here on doors was so much better, and the prices were lower also, so I purchased a new door, and the accompanying hardware for it, along with a few other small items that I needed around the house. I have also purchased a freezer from here about a year ago, and was very happy with the price, and the delivery. The staff at Lowe's always seem nicer and more helpful than H.D. also. And I must also add, that I appreciate the fact that they have a discount for military veterans (so does H.D. by the way). Cheers! read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a Lowe's (which I generally prefer over Home Depot). I wanted to buy a gas grill and another item and went to the Outdoor Dept but there was no one there to answer questions or assist me. I pushed the "service" button at the desk and waited at least 15 minutes (maybe more) while the in-store announcement for assistance kept playing over and over. Another fellow was waiting too. No one ever came. As I was leaving the store I decided to stop at the Customer Service desk to alert the manager but there was a line of people there so as I walked out I told a cashier and asked her "don't you people want to sell anything?" She looked at me dumbfounded as if to say "so what do you want me to do about it?" An appropriate response would have been "please wait here for just a minute and I'll page the manager to come to my register immediately." We purchased a side by side Frigidaire refrigerator and a service plan for it. After only one year and about 3 months the freezer has broken. Called for service and got appointment for 2 days later. On that day of the appointment we were contacted that our appointment was confirmed for the next week, spoke with service contractor and was told that Lowes just does that and our Thursday appointment would be for the following Monday. Making it one week after refrigerator has broken down, all food spoiled and we are still waiting. Also tried to call Lowes service number and after holding for over 15 minutes customer service person did not help at all or even say anything just transferred me to another department to be on hold again. So my advice is do not purchase their service plans just go with the manufacturers service plan if available. Poor service Lowes, I would suggest going to Home Depot! Frigidaire side by side compressor failed after one year and almost three months. Freezer completely failed, if you turn it on make loud squealing noise and freezer walls become very hot. Going into second week without refrigerator. Service company for Lowes states waiting for Lowes to approve parts for repair. Called Lowes service number on hold for 56 minutes to be told they were waiting to hear from service company. Buyer beware, seems like we are getting the run around. I came here looking for some screws to install some leds in my car. I need a number two screws or number one about half a inch and the signs all say they carry them and I was able to use the screw tester to compare sizes. But they sadly was no help because for looking for the screw I was unable to find anything that matched up. I reached out a employee and they helped me look and another employee said they stopped carrying that size screw and I would be better off going to a hobby store. I understand it's a tiny screw but I felt like it was still a average side and it would be carried here. I checked in a few other spots and ended up find a type of screw that's ended up fitting but the fact of the matter is why advertise that's something you sell but you don't? It's extremely frustrating and makes me disappointed as this is a hardware store where you would think that stuff would be sold. I can't base this one visit off my review because I know this place has some good quality things to offer. But this made me very upset that it was such a pain just to find some little screws I needed. read more

Hey, this is the closest one to us, and I'm just glad they had the wax toilet ring we needed as well as the hose necessary to get our new dishwasher running. Thanks be to Lowe's as well as Kay's project manager/amateur handyman dad for getting me out here and helping us out. They even had an outdoor clothes-drying "tree" for sale, which I snagged. Yup. Our dryer is out of order. Turns out we need an ampage upgrade before we catch up to 2012. Is there an electrician in the house? P.S. All Lowe's stores are overwhelmingly huge yet employ overwhelmingly helpful and knowledgeable staff. I found what I needed and then went to the self-checkout. No employee greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. After installing our roof we identified a problem causing leaking in our basement when there are heavy rains. We did not find the issue for 2 years because it does not rain heavy often. I came here twice to get some supplies for my new bathroom and both times I've been here - it seemed like there was only 1 or 2 associates in the entire store. Since we couldn't find anyone to help us find/load the item - we asked the associate working at the register to get some help. And after waiting for about a little more than 30 minutes, someone finally showed up and help me load the item in the cart. I am not for or against either of the large HI stores - it's just that this store in particular happen to carry the item I wanted. And I've had better customer service at the other HI store. Came here in search of Christmas lights and decor today! They had a nice array of items with many deals like 30% off ornaments. We came out with an impressive selection of outdoor lights and decor. My one year old was in awe of the finished product. The staff is always super helpful and everywhere right when you need them! This location is nice and organized. I'm not even allotted enough characters to cover all the lies and deception done by this Lowes store, corporate office and their installer. I signed a contract for new fencing with Josh Yeske on July 18th. After multiple installation date changes, lies and finger pointed I finally had my new fence on September 28th. Well past the finished by date on the contract. Everyone I spoke to at the store, Lowes project coordinator center and their installer offered no assistance in why all the changes and lies. The only person who actually helped and said what he was going to do was another store employee Sam Orr. After installation of the fence there was a few hundred dollars in damage to my property. Not 1 step in this process went as Josh described in the beginning. My entire fence line was dug up and destroyed. Not just new holes dug for the new post. I already tried to settle the matter with Lowes corporate headquarters and again was lied too. Was told someone from, "Central Production Office will contact you directly within two business days", that was going on 4 days ago now. Lowes does not care about customers at all and offer nothing to ever help them. Go read their reviews on the BBB website. Every reply they give is the same copy and paste response. They have no interest in settling any problems. I have multiple ignored calls and emails documented. I wouldn't suggest this business to anyone. I ordered a pile of items for a new home and they messed up just about every order.. delivery was terrible and they just didn't care if I cancelled all the items and ordered them from the box store next door. I cancelled all orders.... Just had my floors done by Lowe's subcontractors. The only reason they get two stars is that the ones that installed the laminate hardwood did a super fantastic job. The carpet installer not so much and if it was just the carpet review it would be 5 black stars instead of any gold stars...the carpet is loose all over the place I can stand in the middle of the room and actually lift up on the carpet. Did they know what a carpet stretcher is??? How is my carpet suppose to last if the sweeper rolls it up when it's vacuumed?? The stairs are even loose it's not tightly up against the back so I guess when I fall down the stairs I can just curse Lowe's. I'm so furious right now. Then on top of that they got mad when we asked them where our transition strips were from the carpet to the bathroom tile and landing tile and the other bathroom tile??? Pretty sure that's a need cuz it looks like garbage when you can see the edge of the tile ??? Then the garbage around the outside of the house they left behind since they were in such a hurry. A latex glove, a big piece of plastic and some paper backing. Clean up after yourself I would t leave that behind at your house! This is the worst home improvement store I've ever been to. Starting with the bathrooms, I try to use the bathroom before I leave because a job I'm going to does not have one. I go in and there is no toilet paper, no paper towels, and I had to use baby changing table liners just to get out of there. As an electrician, naturally I was in the electrical aisle, and what do I find? Almost no parts, parts in the wrong place, nothing restocked, and almost nothing I needed was there. So I had to stop at far superior Home Depot, which I've used for 20 years and never had a problem with bathrooms parts or service. Then I tried to use a self check out and what do I find? 20 minutes worth of problems. The associate that worked the self checkouts stared at me the entire time, acting like I was showing to steal something. When I was scanning, after every item scanned, I had to wait 20 seconds for it to say please place item in the bagging area, then after three items, you had to get an associate. Then while paying, the associates tried telling me that I can't use a gift card. After 20 minutes of fighting over everything with the 5 associates and requesting a manager, I was quite obviously pissed. The associates did not care about the customer experience, and I never saw a manager. I got out of there in almost 2 hours, in what should have been a 30 minutes trip to get parts before a day on a job site. This place deserves to be shut down for the bull that I had to experience there, and I want contacted by somebody from the Lowe's head office. Don't waste your time there, just go to Home Depot instead. If I could give it zero stars I would. read more

Do not buy anything from them that needs to be delivered. I bought a refrigerator from them and they were supposed to move my old fridge out of the way and put in the new one. I was going to transfer the contents after they left, to take advantage of the $35 Duquesne Light would pay for the old one. The deliverymen claimed that it was against store policy for them to move the fridge if there was anytbhing in it. I called the store manager later and found out that this wasn't true. The delivery guys later said that I had misunderstood them, but they were just lazy. I had guys in from Molyneaux Carpet to do my kitchen floor and they moved the full fridge out of the way with no trouble and no arguments. read more
