I have two very different reviews to leave for this store. The first one is about the garden center and a woman named Patti. The first time I went to the garden center we had not moved to town yet, we just wanted to see how different the garden was from our home state of AZ. I met Patti that very first time, she was so helpful and friendly that months later after finally buying our property and moving across the country I still remembered her. I've gone back a couple of times now and each time I have interacted with her she is helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. She helped us pick out nine trees for the new spot. All I can say is Patti is awesome, she works hard for her money and she deserves to be recognized. She makes me want to shop there. read more

I do not recommend this lowes for installing a fence. We have already paid, Delivery for materials was suppose to be the 14th of April. They didn't show up. We called Sunday and they said that they would deliver materials today the 17th between 1-5 and it's 530 and they still haven't showed up. Our fence is suppose to be installed tomorrow the 18th. This is NOT okay. They haven't not communicated with us about running behind or even apologizing for not showing up last week. My husband is taking time off of work tomorrow for delivery, the city of Oakboro is suppose to come out tomorrow as well and we've had things planned from the beginning, but your employees or whomever is running things isn't doing their job. This is unacceptable. We will be contacting corporate about this matter. read more

Carpet installer showed up a day and a half late with no tax strips to do the job. Called Lowe's they said yeah he stopped here and got seam tape. Service Pros. Is the name of the company that was supposed to install the carpet. 1st day he was "sick" 2nd day was late "because the truck broke down" 3rd arrived with no tools to do the job. Horrible customer support on Lowe's and Services Pros. Avoid this company at all cost. read more

Ordered Appliances July 6th To be delivered August 15 Told on backorder August 14 (after I called since no word from them) August 17 Bring 3 of the 6 appliances Refrigerator damaged beyond repair Go to local store just to cancel the whole order. Nice staff Ordered new appliances since all the others were on backorder. TODAY.......told 3 of the 4 that I ordered and will deliver tomorrow. WAITING TO SEE IF THAT HAPPENS!!!! Ugh guess I should just decide to never cook or clean again. UPDATE!!! Today is Thursday 8/30 & guess who still only has one microwave and NO refrigerator, dishwasher or stove. That's right....this girl. Only been 2 weeks tomorrow since I ordered this package. Refrigerator was apparently on backorder (at least that's one story I got) Dishwasher was dropped at some point HARD so can't use that. Stove was bent at the top. The delivery guy even set the clock for me and how he didn't see that blows mind. I think I need these appliances FREE at this point. read more

horrible service. lowes does not have one cashier all self check out with only 2 cash booths. one of my items did not have a barcode on it. diane who was monitoring all check outs told me i had to run all the way to the back of store to find another brush with bar code while 7 people were behind me waiting to check themselves out. i asked if she could get one of the employees who are aimlessly walking around with nothing to do with walkie talkies to get it . she said no you have to get it . what about my order that i have already started . you will have to leave it open run to back of store find your product and than finish your order. they have mannnyyyy employees walking around twiddling there thumbs and the customer has to do all of their work including checkig yourself out . this is ridiculous . diane was rude, not helpful and a complete waste of a weekly check... lowes really needs to step up there game . lowes sucks read more

We have been purchasing products and various items from Lowes in Albemarle since 1998...everything from nails to major appliances. My experience with Lowes has always been excellent. The products are good quality. The store is well-stocked. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Customer service is excellent. The store management is excellent. Every single sale at Lowes ends with an invitation to buy their extended warranty. They say it is convenient, if anything goes wrong, bring it to any store and we'll replace it. I purchased such a plan (24 months) for a Craftsman Grass Trimmer on 11/29/2018. Today I took my trimmer back to the local Lowes and was told I must deal with Craftsman directly, they can't help me at the store level. The clerk gave me the phone number for Craftsman, and I immediately dialed it (Thursday afternoon). I'm now going on 40 minutes holding, and have not yet spoken to anyone. In short, Lowes will not honor their extended warranty (this is the replacement plan). Not sure what Craftsman will do for me, but I don't expect I'll be able to trim my weeds anytime soon. This Lowe's is one of the best around. They have cheap prices, the staff is happy and will help you anytime you like. The plants are watered daily and almost never get too dry. You will most likely find what you are looking for if you come to Lowe's. read more
