When I called, the manager explained their systems were down and they needed to reschedule--but no one reached out to inform me ahead of time. I should've trusted my gut after reading other reviews about their issues with maintaining schedules and keeping up with appointments. Wow wow wow. I didn't believe duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning were worth it but I had two birds nests in two outside facing vents so I took the plunge and started looking for a provider. Through Yelp I found Lowes Cleaning Services. Luke came out to do the service and let me just say he was amazing! It was going to be a 2 hour job but he spent 4.5 hours cleaning everything. I was really blown away by this company and their service! I called them on a weekend, and the nice man who answered was able to set me up with an appointment for the following week. On the day of service, Luke called me about 30 minutes before arriving. He did a great job, and was here for several hours. He was personable, professional, and didn't seem bothered by my super obnoxious dogs. He cleaned up after himself, was a great source of information, and answered all of our questions! Let me start by saying Marko and Luke (service tech) are outstanding! I had my HVAC vents and dryer vent cleaned by Lowe's a few weeks back and was very satisfied with the service. After a few days, however, my dryer stopped working due to a clogged exhaust vent. At least, that is what was told to me by another company I called out to look at my dryer because I had thought it was going out or something was broke. I contacted Marko and he ensured that everything would be taken care of at no cost. I am moving into a house that hasn't been cleaned in years so booked them for to clean vents. The only day they had was day AFTER my flights, so I paid a fee and change my flight to be here. Hired them to clean my 89 year old mom's dryer vent and all her air ducts. Luka was the serviceman who came. He was very honest and operated with the utmost integrity. He told us that her air ducts didn't need cleaning. He could have easily did the work just to get the money. He also identified an improper dryer tubing that was installed by a previous handyman. He offered to come back at a later date and replace the air dryer tubing but didn't pressure us into getting the work done. We knew he was telling the truth because our brand new dryer wasn't drying properly because of the incorrect tubing. Luka also fixed the dryer vent cover outside of the house to keep animals out. He did that complimentary. When my mom tried to tip him, he refused to accept it. He was very responsive, professional and knowledgeable. read more

I had left my previous review to a different Company (Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning) due to the similar name so I will attach it here with my updated review. After my first complaint, this company had sent me a new technician to re-do my cleaning today. My review today is a 3-star review because I am combining my first review that was posted on 3/27/20 on the wrong company's yelp review and today's review. My first review was 1-star and today I am giving a 5-star review, so in average it's a three star review. My updated review is on the bottom. PREVIOUS REVIEW: One star. Very disappointed. Absolutely the worst $249.00 I have EVER spent. TLDR: the technician arrived late, work was unsatisfactory and incomplete, and left my house looking worse than before. To begin, the technician, Alex, arrived 43minutes later than the original ETA I was scheduled for. After waiting about 30minutes, I called the customer service to check what was going on. He then said the technician had said that he already called me - I had not received any calls from them previously. The technician then called to say that he dialed the wrong number and entered the wrong address so he would be arriving 13minutes later. I thought, 'Weird, but things could happen, so as long as he does his job well, it's fine.' When making reservation for the cleaning, I had specifically asked three questions: Are before and after pictures allowed, will they take all the debris with them and not leave anything behind, and will they have personal protective equipment due to COVID19 going around. Tim, the agent who made my reservation, was very kind and answered all my questions. I was also very well advised that they will go over the needs for coil cleaning when they come for air duct cleaning, but the inspection would be free. However, when the technician came, he was unaware of the free coil inspection when he arrived. After confirming with the company, he had agreed to do the inspection, but ended up leaving without doing so. I also wanted the before/after photographs, which the technician had helped for the first two, but then told me to open up the vents and do them myself. When taking the after pictures of the vents in my kitchen, I had found that the after photo wasn't much better than the before photo I had taken. The debris, dog fur (from previous homeowner), and dust were all still left inside the vent. The debris were also left all around the vents and my mother had to clean up after the tech. Very upset, I called the customer service in the middle of cleaning. Paul, the customer service agent, wasn't any nicer nor helpful. He just called the technician and let him know of our conversation. After long conversations, the technician finally went back to the vents around the kitchen and re-cleaned the vents and said that he would clean the debris that comes out with a vacuum at the end(that didn't happen either, he just wiped it with the wipes we provided and the trash bag we provided). Even after the requests to check my vents thoroughly because I am allergic to dogs and dust, he only checked a few and still left most vents dirty and debris kept falling out of the vents. I really wasn't going to write this review and paid full price despite what happened because I felt bad. However, after everything was finished and the tech left, my mother and I were busy moving things (we had just bought the house and were moving in) until later time when we noticed the blue tapes were left behind on the vents all over my 2nd floor. The vents were all up on the ceiling so I had to wait until my brother came to take it off. Because the tape wasn't taken off on time, it had peeled the paint on our vents off leaving an unattractive look. Before we even took off the tapes, the vents were dangling on the ceiling. Again, my house was just recently bought, and my family wasn't even finished moving in. Now we have peeled vent covers, vent covers dangling on our ceilings, the vents are still dirty, coil inspections were not done, and we have to clean up the mess and replace the vent covers. UPDATED REVIEW: Five stars. New technician, Nash, came today at 8AM sharp, gave me a call 30min prior to let me know of the ETA. He came well prepared with cleaning equipment and with clean PPE (previous tech came with ripped gloves, but Nash came with new clean gloves on. Both techs had masks on and took off their shoes). He was very thorough and showed me the whole process. He made sure to clean the areas around the vents with the wipe he brought. No trash was left behind. The tapes were all removed before the tech left and the tech even fixed the dangling vents with new screws. Coil inspection was done for free as promised, and per my request, coils were cleaned today at an additional cost. All in all, today's service was great. Thank you. Thought you should know. The good news is the air ducts are clean! We can tell the difference. The tech explained everything he did, cleaned up after himself, and seemed pleasant. Don't make the mistake we did. This company is NOT associated with the retailer and home improvement company Lowe's. I'm giving them 3 stars for the following reasons: 1) the dryer vent cleaning advertised and requested could not be performed. They didn't have the equipment. Had they been honest at appointment booking, or even at the beginning of the appointment, I could have hired one of the many companies who could service both air ducts and dryer vents during the same appointment. 2) they advertise that technicians will wear masks, gloves, respect social distancing, and shoe covers while in your home. Not the case. My wife requested the technician go back to the truck to retrieve a mask when he arrived without one. He kept it below his nose most of the time, which was concerning considering he had a noticeable cough. COVID-19 is not over! 3) they had an earlier appointment cancel. So they attempted to service our home earlier than expected. You would think that was a blessing. Not at all. I wasn't able to leave work. They kept calling. It left my wife to change her plans to take care of the appointment. In the end the tech arrived an hour later than the original appointment time. I'm convinced the missed revenue from the cancelled call was made up by an add-on service we were told we needed. While we didn't get our dryer vents cleaned, the price we were charged was almost the same. read more
