They were nothing short of amazed. They told me how Doctor Cohen was very welcoming and how the atmosphere really reflected a quality experience in the office. Doctor Cohen advised my mom with nothing but the best advice possible during her pregnancy. He was very welcoming and took his own personal time to return all her phone calls and get back to her with the information that she needed. In today's world, that is hard to come by; especially for a doctor. When I was born, I was told that he arrived at the hospital immediately to check me out, and examine me. As I grew and matured throughout they years, I went to Doctor Cohen every year for a very comprhensive physical consisting of proper growth and weight analysis, immunizations, blood tests, and booster shots. In my teens I developed a great relationship with Doctor Cohen. He became not only a doctor to me, but a great mentor, advisor, and friend. He always knew what I was doing, made me update him on my new accomplishments, and took the time after my appointments to chat with me about anything that I wanted to. He was so open, and provided valuable knowledge and guidance to me during this time. He truly does know his patients, and does not rely on notes for his memory, he is that good. I'm going to be 23 next month, and I am in graduate school. I love Doctor Cohen so much that he is STILL my primary care physician. I look forward to going to see Doctor Cohen every year and to talk to him every year about my life. He truly is one in a million doctors out there. If you have him, you are very lucky to have him your life. Now that I am probably going to the last appointment of life with him tomorrow, I will never loose touch with Doctor Cohen. I plan on dropping by his office, and talking to him in whatever ways I can. I don't want to loose such a great person in my life that helped me become who I am today. The itching and redness needed to be seen immediately to exclude more severe allergic reactions especially since in New England bug bites can be fatal. Foster mother was uneducated woman who could not understand the importance of the visit to emergency room following the bug bite. In current settings Care and Protection matters are heard by Juvenile Court when it is clear that lawyers and social workers are uneducated for Child Protective services, they do not understand emotional needs of a child, have no education to understand kids behavior and are unable to respond in emergency. There is a need to transfer decisions on Care and Protection matters from lawyers to the offices of physicians but policies against not professional physicians like Dr. Milana Stavitsky need to be made

They also have a lab and a radiology section for X-Rays. No MRIs though. Also, I don't think they do surgeries here. But Harvard-Vanguard has several locations so you always get to do your complicated surgeries or MRIs at the same hospital, different location. I like the Wellesley location, it's the closest from my house and has good doctors. The staff is polite and helpful. I have seen rude people sitting behind check-in, billing counters at other hospitals. But not here. The bad part is the wait time in some departments. Sometimes the specialist doctors take too long to see you despite you having a scheduled appointment. I have waited as long as 80 minutes to see the doctor. This is sad and not expected from such professional and highly qualified doctors. They need to respect the time of their patients, especially when the appointment is scheduled. I agree that something can come up and the doctor could be late. But at such time, it is the responsibility of the doctor's office staff to let the people in the waiting area know that there is an issue. During my 80min wait in the waiting room, nobody told me anything. When I went to ask multiple times, they said that I will be called soon. I have had this experience twice in one department (Orthopedic). However, don't simply go by my bad experience. I would still continue going to this hospital because of the well qualified doctors and a good network of hospitals at different locations.
