I need to give this place NO STAR. Staff is catty, rude and unprofessional.. wait times are horrendously long , I've waited about 2 hrs couple times. My infant was naked and cold in the patient room for an hour before the doctor came in. They misdiagnosed two of my kids on 3 separate occasions. I mean, they've stuck me with a "temp" doc from Georgia without informing me who ended up prescribing the wrong antibiotic for my 5 mo old and made his skin condition WORSE. I've asked to speak to manager to which i never was returned a call, receptionist called me instead of manager and when I insisted for the manager, specifically, to give me a call as I had some issues to discuss with her I was told "uhh, sure I'll let her know but she probably won't call you"..... When I finally asked for their records to be transferred over to another practice two months from now, they dropped them from their system and denied any treatments even though my youngest was scheduled next week for his 6 month well visit. They knew I wasn't leaving their practice immediately, it was going to be in two months, but because I asked for record transfer via fax, they denied providing service my children. Last Saturday my youngest desperately needed to be seen for a same day sick appointment for his severe skin infection , and they could care less and kept reiterating to me that I'm the one who requested the transfer and I'm choosing to leave them, they can't accept my son as their patient anymore. It can not get any more unprofessional and juvenile than this. I regret not leaving any sooner. read more

Would never recommend this place to anyone. Refused to see my son who was a patient here from birth, after we moved back to PA from Florida, he had a nasty cough and was very sick. The office told me he is no longer their patient and without vaccine records, they will not see him. I explained he has an alarming cough and I will get the records just don't have them that minute. They refused. So I found another pediatrician that took him in immediately. We found out he had pneumonia and RSV, he could not wait for vaccine records to be sent. I will never go or suggest this place to anyone. read more

This place came highly recommended by my midwives, whom I love. But the firm underwent a massive expansion right around the time my son was born. They have so many doctors now and none of them knows who we are. One doctor even forgot who we are, even though we had to come back later in the same week for follow-up. Once, when my son was barely 18 months, he had a horrible stomach virus, and the office refused to see him -- I think they were afraid of the potential mess. You will wait far too long for your appointment; they're always late. And once you're in, the staff walks around like zombies, staring into their laptops. It's weird. It's not like anyone here is horrible. You'll get ok care. But you'll be treated like livestock. read more

Lower Bucks Pediatrics has been bought by Margiotti and Kroll Pediatrics, and they've had some cagey business issues. This explains why I've had such poor experiences with them in the past few months via their nurses line. We went there about a month ago, and they were disorganized, unprofessional, and seemed more interested in complaining about their situation than actually treating my kid. Since we don't have another doctor and my daughter needed her well visit, we went to the Marigiotti and Kroll Pediatrics in Newtown. THEY were incredibly helpful and professional. I hope this can be our new pediatrician. So - if you hear about Lower Bucks or if Margiotti and Kroll Pediatrics wants to send you to their Yardley location- avoid it! read more

I'm very picky when it comes to doctors so if I give one 4 stars, they deserved it. Been bringing my 8 month old here since birth and they are so great. No rude receptionists, no snobby cold nurses. It's very clean and modern there. My son was born worth a kidney issue and they take great care of him. CHOP is not always easy to hey hold of, and that's when they step in and get thru for you. They are a wonderful parent and child advocate when it comes to having to deal with multiple care providers. If your child is sick, they get them in right away. They just make it very easy. Now, i did not give 5 stars as there are a few doctors that kind of don't let you get a word in, but that's any dr. I think so just stand your ground. There have been times I felt very uncomfortable telling my concerns but now, I let it be heard. read more

It's really sad to see the negative reviews about LBP. Any negativity I hear about LBP centers on a long wait time, which sometimes I experience, but have not recently. My experience with LBP has been near perfect - we actually switched from Margiotti & Kroll to LBP because of the former's incompetence. LBP, as a whole, has never failed to 1) get me in same day for a sick child, 2) be very thorough during our well visits, and 3) be prompt. I have been with them since my children were toddlers - 5+ years I have had three quibbles with LBP: 1) wait times can be on the longer side depending on the day/time, 2) I'm not a fan of at least one of the nurse practitioners, Rathod. I found her intimidating, dismissive, and glib on both occasions I have seen her. The other NP, Brittany, is awesome!, and 3) sometimes the doctors are so overbooked, that I feel they may be a bit unprepared when seeing their patients (e.g. spend quite a bit reviewing records during the appt). My children used to see Bailey exclusively, but she moved out of state. Since then, my children have seen Stavalone, Gardner, and Goldberg. My children really took to both Stavalone and Gardner, and they're beginning to know Goldberg. I have nothing but respect for the aforesaid - they not only handle my children's physical complaints but also handle needed behavioral/socioemotional management well e.g. special needs. They are hardly dismissive. Both of my children see Anise, the child psychologist; she is wonderful, and my children both like her. I've never had a rude receptionist. Any concerns with LBP on my end seem pretty common overall with practices that are well-liked, and they can be improved - they are not wholly detrimental to my children. I've never had mix-ups with vaccines or medication. Paperwork and referrals are prompt. Only once have I had my opinions/questions brushed off. I almost always call them before going to the ER (insurance likes you to do this) but I'm also a mother... if I've gotten to the point of calling, they're probably going, anyway, for my peace of mind. I've known no one personally who has left for anything malpractice - just some long wait times that did not bode well for their work/activities schedule. read more

This clinic employs incompetent people that don't listen to the parents and make multiple errors writing prescriptions, giving wrong vaccines and providing poor patient care and customer service. Look elsewhere for care or you'll get frustrated and disappointed read more

The nurse f'ed up and gave my son 3 vaccine shots that were supposed to be for another baby! When the doctor realized what happened she freaked out. He is 18 months old and was given shots for a 15 month old with same first name in the room next to us. They also keep you waiting a very long time. I've had nothing but a great experience at Lower Bucks Pediatrics. I've taken both of my sons here since birth.

Was told by 2 separate doctors, Patel and Goldberg that my son was fine and to use a humidifier and elevate his head. We ended up in Chop hospital for a week because my son has massive breathing and respiratory issues. At 4 months old he had a C Pap mask on for 4 days because he couldn't breathe. Would NEVER recommend this practice to anyone! read more

Both of my children had been patients here since my youngest was born - so about 10 years. In the last year my children no longer had insurance which forced me to utilize urgent care for medical needs. During this time I received a letter from the practice stating my children were being ejected from the practice due to my failure to provide proper medical care! I reached out and informed them of the situation however was met with rude behavior. At this point I sent in the paperwork to transfer my childrens' medical records to the new pediatrician. What was sent was ONLY vaccination records. Now I am trying to get a hold of someone to send THE REST! And after all of this I am asked by staff why I am transferring my children OUT of the practice! read more

My husband and I were taking care of our 15-month-old granddaughter while her parents were out of town. I was very concerned about her cough over the weekend. I phoned first thing Monday morning, and they gave us an 8:40 a.m. appointment. We were treated efficiently and with great care. We saw a nurse practitioner who took her time, asked careful questions and answered ours. The office was extremely helpful with calling in the prescription, explaining how to dose our granddaughter (I mean, we hadn't done anything like it for 27 years!), and explaining how to get to my daughter's pharmacy. We give the practice an A-plus. Just so pleased how they were able to reassure but also suggest remedies. And the non-medical staff were attentive, kind, and helpful. read more

I attempted to make a well visit appointment for my 8 year old child today (Feb 15, 2017), and I was told by the representative on the phone who stated her name was Ashley that my child's file was closed because they had attempted to schedule a well visit. Her last well visit was 8/2015. Well, it's feb 15, 2017 and I was attempting to make a well visit and the representative refused and even refused to set up a new patient registry. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she told me that the supervisor was busy on the phone and that I could not talk to her. I was in shock and could not understand why I could not setup a new account. I tried to inform her that I also work in healthcare and she decided to tell me that she have been a nurse at lower bucks pediatrics for 16 years and that is their policy. Fortunately, I was able to set up an appointment at another nearby pediatricians office. I am sorry Dr. Weinberg, but your employees don't care about your business. Dr. Krupnick - I called LBP at 2am with an 11 year old son in severe abdominal pain. You returned my call in a timely manner. However, when you called, it was clear I was on speaker phone as I could hear a loud television or people talking in the background - it was obvious this was not a private call. You sounded impatient when I described what was going on with my son and your only response to my description of severe abdominal pain was "go to the hospital." "I can't diagnose over the phone, if you think it's painful, take him to the hospital." Of course you can't diagnose over the phone, but you could ask a question or two in order to gather further information and not pass it off to the ER - location, type or duration of pain, any relevant history of other medical issues. Might this be gas? Shoud I wait and observe for an hour or so? What should I watch for? What is a potential range of issues we might look to rule out with hospital visit? You didn't even ask my son's name or age - which, I grant, is not a medically relevant question but certainly expresses some level interest or care about a patient in your practice. You sounded impatient and, honestly, a little annoyed. You may be a wonderful doctor during office hours, but your training should have prepared you for a bear minimum of compassion even when on call and in the middle of the night - isn't that why you trained as a pediatrician? I have not received a follow up call today - which has always occurred in the past - so I am not sure you even documented the call. I did take my son to the hospital and it was a potentially involved issue that, fortunately, we were able to resolve without the need to transfer to CHOP. However, sadly, you were no help in this potentially serious medical issue and my "doctor/mom" hat offered as much insight as you provided. Dr. Jill Stavalone - I have been with LBP for 11 years and you have basically raised my children through many years of complicated medical involvement. You are amazing - your professionalism, knowledge of my boys over the years, personal involvement, etc. Your after hours calls with my husband and me that lasted 30 minutes or so because the three of us were brain storming as you offered different options and directions. I have told you several times that if it weren't for you, we would surely leave the practice (a sentiment I have heard several times from other families). You acknowledge the peculiarities of your particular caseload and clearly enjoy your "interesting" patients with a knowing smile. In fact, you advise us to always tell the staff to identify ourselves and make the last appointment of the day because you are so invested in my family!! But, sadly, at this point, even the opportunity of working with you might not keep us in the practice since I can't even get an appointment with you for my two sons - your calendar is completely booked through July and they don't have the calendar beyond that. I'm sad to consider leaving this practice but it has become too big to keep it's focus on patient care. The medical team turns over so fast I don't even know any of them anymore except Stavalone, Gardner and Dorold at the front desk - who greets us by name with a huge smile and interest when we walk in and nods supportively when I tell her I am completely frustrated with the office since the move. Dr. Krupnick - I believe you handled our situation last night poorly - I'm sure your pediatric training taught you better. Isn't your compassion and patience one of the reasons you chose pediatrics? My review is based on repeated experiences on lack of empathy and breach of trust from the scheduling staff or whoever the first line of contact is for the parents when you call this practice. Second reason for this review is the wait-time, no-matter when we come I have never left this practice before 2 hours from the time I come here and it has been mostly for wellness visits (no sick visits). Speaking to both of the above reasons here's the recent experience leading up to me writing this review: I called last week to schedule for an issue which my 7 month old was suffering since past 4 days and the operator told us this dr.X (my child's regular doctor) is not in the office today (she doesn't work on this day) and that we have no option but to be seen by a nurse practitioner as no other doctor was available. I took the appointment for NP as I was left with no choice, paid the copay and waited in the general area for next 30 minutes before we got called in. After going-in while my child was getting weighed on at one of those general weighing stations by the tech, to our surprise we saw dr.X coming out of one of the rooms after seeing another patient (this is the same doctor we requested to have an appointment with as she has been seeing our child since birth and were force-routed to be seen by an NP, we learned and felt that we were lied to and got force-routed to an NP while the doctor was in the office). I don't know why would the scheduling folks take-upon themselves to decide who needs to be seen by an NP or a doctor or what is going on at this practice but it was certainly eye opening for us. As usual waited another 45 minutes-1 hour before the Np comes into the room and does her thing (no resolution to my child's concern, 9 days later today as I am writing this review his situation has exacerbated to the point that I am looking at another practice to get him looked at). I have been seeing this practice for my child since his birth, we have only felt confident with 2 doctors there and would only recommend those 2 to my family or friends. If the owners of this practice are reading this, hope you would address the situation for other parents and not get your patients be treated as bookmarks on a scheduling roster. Future parents, please look around before deciding who you want your kid to be seen by for his/her well being. read more

Our daughter is 9 months old and we've been coming here since days after she was born. Initially things were good, as one would expect from an office that was recently built. Within the last 3-4 months their service was taken a nose dive. We once were 15 mins late and the front secretary chastised us about it, fine...no problem...our bad. So we have been to our appointments ON TIME, but then have to wait at least an hour to see the doctor. What the hell! I am a parent. My time is very important! Luckily we don't have another appointment for another 3 months, but we'll be looking for another pediatrician for that benchmark appointment. read more

Dr. Weinberg has been instrumental in helping our oldest (and us) through an ASD diagnosis, and assisting us with finding resources to help in all aspects of daily life (therapies, counseling, meds if necessary). In the 6 years we have been with LBP, I only had one (major) issue with a nurse practitioner that did not listen to my concerns and a misdiagnosed pneumonia in my youngest (then 13 months old)- but upon a return visit, the staff made up for it by responding to my concerns and ensuring we wouldn't be seen by her again. I won't give the whole practice bad marks because of one bad experience- they have shown professionalism and willingness to help above and beyond many times over. read more

I've been bringing my son here since he was 4 months old and so far so good. There are a few doctors I'd take over others, but if they're taking care of my son then that's all that matters. The one major complaint I have is the women who run the after hours hotline. For two months now my son has been struggling with what they like to call asthma (too young to be diagnosed since he's only 1) so I've been calling the hotline quite periodically. Just yesterday I believe I called twice and my husband called once and each time never was I told that I needed my pharmacy's phone number. Anyway, it was late in the evening and my son had just pulled a Linda Blair at the local Target and threw up every ounce of liquid he drank an hour earlier. He was on the verge of dehydration so I called the hotline to see what I should do. I finally got through and whoever answered the phone talked down to me and told me that I needed my pharmacy's phone number otherwise they wouldn't page the doctor. When I told her I didn't need it before, she told me to get it and then hung up on me. I called back not even 5 minutes later with the number and they finally paged the doctor. Now my gripe wasn't with the doctor. In fact, Dr. Stavalone was great. I never saw her before, but she calmed my fears and my baby is now on his way to recovery without having to step foot in the ER. My only gripe is with the absolutely incompetent operator who obviously hates her job. Don't talk to me like I'm stupid. I've been using the hotline religiously for 2 months now and I know what's needed. Now maybe she was doing her job and the others weren't, but that's besides the point. My son was sick and I just wanted answers. To hang up on someone in distress is not okay and I hope to get some answers. I just hope they don't drop him as a patient as I do like some of the doctors there. read more

There is a Nurse, Toni, who has the patience of a saint. She is the most professional medical provider that I have ever dealt with in my lifetime. My son had a painful ear infection that was the mother of all infections. Toni drained his ear and during the procedure, a large amount of ear material ended up on her scrubs and she just kept going. Any person would have most likely stopped in horror but she kept calm and minimized the event. She was more worried about my son than herself. Lower Bucks should hold onto Toni with two hands. read more

awful - there for 2 hours today...doctor very nice spent time on well visit, but nobody mentioned ahead of time or before appointment that they do not have vaccines in stock. also, most doctors have quit. office manager in charge decided not to speak with me any further - unprofessional...told me my insurance company will drop me if i cancel well visit of my child, and i should come back a second time whenever they get shots back??!!!...no medical staff is in charge there....stay away!!! read more

My son would be dead if I listened to lower bucks pediatrics. I took my son in to be seen for a runny nose, vomiting coughing and sneezing. They sent us home told us to do neb treatments even tho he had no chest congestion. A few hours home he fell asleep unusually early for the night. He developed a fever of 103 later that evening so I called in to lower bucks peds after hours. Dr Patel called me back 20 minutes later and I explained my son had a fever, was very pale, had cold hands and feet and had been vomiting for a day or two. She told me to give my son Tylenol or Motrin to get the fever down. I was concerned maybe I should take him to the ER and she said if he has a fever of 105 that's really just when you need to take him. I gave him Tylenol and his fever went down. The next morning he woke up with a rash all over his body, still lethargic, cold hands cold feet, vomiting, fever, pale, lifeless, not eating or drinking so I called lower bucks to schedule an appointment ASAP. While I was getting ready to head there for my 10 am appointment, a nurse called me back and told me there was no reason to bring him in to be seen because he just has a virus and to cancel my appointment. She told me to go out and get aveeno oatmeal bath to help his rash and keep him comfortable. She told me the rash was just the body's way of trying to get the virus out. I trusted them so that's what I did. As the day went on my son got worse and literally looked like he was dying, so we went to the ER. Turned out my son had Neisseria bacterial meningitis. If I didn't take him to the ER that day, my son would not be alive. Shame on lower bucks pediatrics for having staff that tells people a rash is just a virus and there is no need to be examined. I researched his diagnosis after he was admitted and all the symptoms he had when I called them twice, pointed to meningitis. They don't even deserve one star. Stay away from here. read more

Parents, please do not take your children here! We have had nothing but problems with them. They have misdiagnosed our daughter on multiple occasions, one that could have been life threatening. They ordered a urine specimen to be dropped off, we were even given the cup and wipes to collect it, then called me to find out what they were supposed to do with the specimen that was dropped off because the doctor never notated that they ordered a specimen to be tested. As far as the misdiagnosis I earlier mentioned, they prescribed our daughter medicine for a urinary tract infection, they get back her culture to find that she had e-coli, called me to see if our daughter was in the hospital, I said no you just prescribed her medicine 3 days ago. They said oh well that medicine may not work. I said may not? They said, I don't know we will call you back. After no call I call them back and get transferred to the on call doctor who says "thank God you called". The medicine you daughter was on will not work for what she has. Prescribes us another medicine. Long story short, we take our daughter to children's hospital only to find out that NO oral medicine will work. She had a kidney infection with e-coli and had to be on IV meds and hospitalized. There is no communication in this office, no doctor knows what the other is doing with your children because they do not notate it. This office doesn't even deserve 1 star. read more

My children see Dr. Stavalone. Yes, you will wait for her FOREVER, but it's worth it. She's not constantly checking her watch to stay within the alotted time frame. She remembers our kids, she doesn't leave the room until you have all of your questions answered and the best part of all is that she treats you as a fellow parent, not that she's above you because she's a doctor. read more

Transferred to this practice from another and it is much better. Most of the doctors are amazing and listen to you.

My two sons have been going here for about 10 years now. They have seen many doctors in the facility and we have had no issues with any of them. They have been all very thorough, sometimes too thorough during their check ups. They always schedule both of them at the same time with no issues. Wait time is usually no longer than 10 minutes. There is only one issue I have and that is they charge $10. for each form they have to fill out for school and sports. I think this is a bit much just to have a doctor sign the form. But I think a lot of practices are doing that now. Staff is pretty friendly. read more
