Came here with my wife to pick up some scrubs for her job. The first impression when walking in was that it's a small shop packed full of uniforms for the medical professional and I hope we'll be out of here as soon as possible so I'm not bored out of my mind. So things pretty much went as expected from the other reviews; there wasn't much help from the store staff when it came to helping people find what they needed, the uniforms were way overpriced, and their supply was limited. We did find some scrubs for my wife, but they were $50 for a top and bottom; and that's with a 25% discount. I sure hope these scrubs last a long while. read more

Ok so I have a mixed review about this place. They don't have many options but they have everything you need. Yeah, the prices are a little high but not much more than you would expect from any other uniform store. People get so comfortable with astronomically low prices they see on amazon that they think that's how it is everywhere. Of course nobody wants to think about what it actually takes to have a physical store. The staff is a little scarce. This I'm guessing is more so a problem with the customers they serve than the actual business. People walk up to the check out counter with arms full of uniform pieces then tell the associate behind the counter that she needs each piece brought up in a different size instead of just finding it themselves. I understand that you are the one walking into a store to spend your hard earned money, but don't be lazy. Take two seconds to look for what you actually need and not only for you but for the rest of the patrons waiting to check out would have a much better experience. read more

I am a trident tech nursing student so I came in today to buy my scrubs and Kaitlyn knew exactly what I needed. She was extremely helpful. She brought me different sizes while in the changing room and was very polite. I didn't look around much but they have a huge selection of a lot of different things. Great customer service. I have been coming here for a couple of years now , and I always love the selection that is there when I go. The staff is always helpful and more than willing to order my special size online which is a medium tall. I do wish they had more medium talls in store but i understand it is a popular size. read more

When this place first opened, I vowed never to step foot into their store. We were out to eat at a hibachi restaurant and some employees were seated at the table with us. Over the course of the night, we learned their manager was taking them out to dinner to celebrate the opening. Prior to his arrival, the employees had nothing but awful things to say about him. Including and not limited to how they were going to order only the most expensive menu items to rack up the bill and how he was such an a$$hole. So, when my mom came to visit and needed a new pair of Danskos, I grudgingly agreed to take her. I was 9 months pregnant, in three days time, my little guy would be born. The young girl working at the register actually made a rude face when my hugely pregnant self waddled into the store. We asked for help in their shoe department, received an exaggerated sigh and an eye roll before she disappeared into the back. Thankfully, a much nicer older woman came out to help us, leaving the unhappy young woman to do who knows what in the front of the store. Alas, they did not have my mothers size in stock, so we left empty handed; which did not go unnoticed by the girl at the register. "Too expensive?" was her farewell...not "thanks for coming in," or "have a nice day," but a rude comment about the price of the shoes. Needless to say, we won't be returning for Danskos or anything else in the future. read more

Just like every other review on here the customer service in this place is atrocious! I don't know if it's because I'm a guy or what ever the case may be but the young lady with heart rate rhythm tattooed on her forearm needs an attitude check and should try smiling once in a while it wouldn't hurt. I entered and no "Hello!" or "How can I help you?" She came out of the back supply room, saw me, and just turned away. After walking around the main part of the store aimlessly I was able to stumble upon the mens rack area. Still no help or even acknowledgement from her. There was another older lady there sitting on a bench who I think may or may not have worked there. When I asked to try on some scrubs the young girl states "Go to the restroom." which of course I had no clue where it was. First impressions mean a lot to me and you bet'cha after my first experience there I will not be returning. read more

This was my first time buying scrubs. I was treated immediately by someone who was very helpful and passionate about the scrubs she helped me find. They entered my info so that if I need to remember what I bought in the future they could tell me. Great selection. There was a sale rack but other than that the prices were pretty "uniform." Ha ha. Came in one afternoon to try on scrubs for fit. Found a great pair but they didn't have the color I needed on the rack. I asked the ladies at the counter, who were having a conversation about one of their boyfriends, if she had the size I needed in the correct color. She said "uh no, I guess you'll have to order them". She didn't look in the back or offer to double check. I left without any new scrubs for work and ended up buying them on Amazon. I use Low country for all my Chef's jackets and shoe needs. Great people and honest business! They got Dansko to refund my my shoes due to a manufacturers defect and I got a new pair for just taxes! I use them twice a year for my Chefs shoes and buy most of my jackets there because they off an embroidery service. A must need for Chefs! read more

This place was recommended by a friend of mine. I don't know why. I was not greeted when I walked in, and as I walked around, I was never asked if I needed assistance. I found their prices to be a bit high, but thought I would check the clearance before I left. As I was heading to that rack, the "music" suddenly got louder, and it was a lot of rap about sex with quite a bit of swearing. I never bothered with clearance, just got disgusted and left. I checked into this place after work because I was in need of a few pair of uniforms as my other ones were mostly about 5 yrs old. As I browsed around I seen most of thier prices were relatively expensive like $20 to $30 per top and bottom paticularly the Trident scrubs and Grey's Anatomy brand so I automatically went to the clearance rack to see what there was. Other than the over priced uniforms I was satisfied as I finally found a 50% rack where I found two new uniforms I liked, as I browsed some more I figured since they were such a good deal I could buy a pair of Nurse shoes to accompany my uniforms but no such luck the only ones they had were the Dansko Nurse shoes in which cost $120 for each pair.. ouch I asked them if they had any others and they said unfortunately they have discontinued the less expensive brand nurse shoe that resembled the really expensive ones. So I figure I'll get them the nextime I come back to buy my stethoscope but I am thankful I found a couple pairs of comfortable fitting uniforms. read more

I absolutely adore Susan & the new owner Steve. I own a housekeeping company here in Charleston and they have outfitted my staff through several uniform changes. While I loved the first idea I had for uniforms and they were absolutely adorable they were not practical for my staff because they got too hot while cleaning (especially in our brutal Summers). Both Steve and Susan have worked with me through all my changes and critiques and have helped me choose uniforms that are comfortable and practical for my housekeepers. My staff adores the comfort and the look of their new scrubs and I couldn't possibly be happier. I would say give the place a chance. Businesses rely on other people to make their company awesome and sometimes it takes awhile to see if an employee is dragging their company down... I know... because I have had it happen to me. Usually the business owner's intent is good but the person who they have chosen to be the face of their company have other intentions. Perhaps this is what happened with the other commenters.
