Wonderful R.V. Park. Quiet and clean. A bar, restaurant on location as well as laundry , showers and a bathroom. Tent area for camping and access to docks and the Sacramento River. My complaint is that they do not have internet or wifi as advertised on their website. Being a pretty remote location, there is virtually no cell phone service. We work on the road, and communicating with our customers was an impossibility while staying here. We had to drive quite a distant to a Starbucks to work every day. Not having wifi was a very big disappointment. Had we known this earlier, we would not have stayed here. read more

What it lacks in complexity, this riverside grub shack makes up for in character. The onion rings are amazing. The portions are huge, and the prices are tiny. I enjoyed enormous prawns, a hearty serving of fried things and didn't spend too much. The restaurant's placement among trailers on a dark levee road give it a surreal Robert Rodriguez film quality, and the staff is loaded with real small-town personalities. We pulled in to spend a couple nights in our RV and sort out some trouble we were having with our furnace blower. They have 3 large, shaded pull-thru spots for overnighters, and then lots of back-in spots for longer-term stays, and a couple dozen permanent residents. From first interaction to last, the people were really friendly. Lonnie manages the RV parking and offered help, tools, and parts as soon as he heard what we were doing. (It turned out our furnace repair was really easy, and we didn't need much, but by the look of his shop I'd say he has a lot of parts that a person might need.) Rhonda was managing the bar, and while they didn't have a cook on staff while we were there, Rhonda mixed the drinks strong and fed us a couple servings of her delicious home-cooked lasagna for really inexpensive. We stayed two nights, and both nights fell asleep to the sound of great-horned owls all along the river bank. I'd definitely recommend it for a chill, out-of-the-way, friendly place to pull in for a couple days. read more

Yep...If you want a campy, nostalgic, unique dining experience then head down the dusty road to Lovey's Landing on the river. What a strange and interesting place where you kind of step back in time a bit. Well drinks are $1.75 during happy hours, the prime rib is yummy, the hamburgers are decent, the head lettuce salad is....?, and the onion rings (delicious) served on "trees" are freaky. The waitresses are seasoned and somewhat crusty..... mostly nice. Okay service. Monday night is all you can eat spaghetti for a few bucks, Tuesday nights ---- $1 tacos, Wed. meatloaf.... You get it. This is a former customer, I was really disappointed when i took my friend out there for a Birthday dinner , Judy was behind the bar, she was so rude then our drinks were terrible , we asked for a menu and she said the grill was not on , we were shocked we've been coming here for years we've never been treated so bad . We didn't even finish our drinks, we left . Come to find out Judy is sleeping with Jeff , the owner and the park is not the same . We are locals and have spoke with other and this has been going on for 6 mo or more . Customer service was bad , restaurant and bar bad, I do not recommend Loveys Landing anymore , the park is not the same , it a real shame . read more

I used to frequent thsi place as a kid...growing up in colusa...always fun, food was great, people where cool...the last time I ever went, I was 18 or 19...some meth addict walked into the restaraunt while I was waiting for my order and tried to pick a fight with me...told me he'd be waiting for me and I "was gonna pay" (I never did find out why dude was so pissed off) so I gathered up a few of the other customers and we all walked out together...sure enough, psycho was waiting for me with a knife in hand! Never returned...although I would go back now, no biggie...good out-weighs the bad, this place is great! can't let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch! read more

I'm a elderly disabled lady who lives at the park and at times I need help with things around my travel trailer when my care provider is busy at other places taking care of other clients, and I must say that the Manager Lonnie on site here is always helpful and right there to help you and give a helping hand when you need help, he always is helping out all the elderly disable people here at the park when they need help and he checks up on you to make sure you need anything, I also like the way he keeps the park in order here and he is a very good fix it man if you need him to fix anything. I would recommend loveys landing to anybody who likes a nice quiet and relaxing park and they got great food at the restaurant. Marsha T read more

I have stayed at Loveys for a short time. It is a campground on the Sacramento River with a bar and restaurant. They have long term campers who live there and for the most part it is a very nice quit park. The bar and grill are full of character and character's. Dan the cook is a hidden gem and the food is very well thought out. The fishing is great and the river is beautiful. I found out that they are serving brunch on Sunday's so I went. limited menu but again great food. read more
