I've been going to Uyen since 2021, and it's truly the most beautiful my hair has ever looked…read more My natural hair is very fine, and when I first came to her it was just past my shoulders. Uyen added extensions and created a gorgeous bronde color. Over the years we've tried different looks, from very blonde to closer to my natural dark blonde, and I loved it every time! What impressed me the most is how healthy my hair stayed the entire time. After wearing extensions for over two years, I took them out for a while and my natural hair actually looked about 30% thicker than before (The thickest it has ever been). I just got a new set of extensions again and absolutely love them. I went from short hair to almost waist length, and this time we did wavy extensions to match my natural texture. It came out beautifully - the color matches perfectly and it looks very natural, even when I let my hair air dry without styling. Uyen is incredibly attentive and works very meticulously. She really listens and takes the time to make everything blend perfectly. I completely trust her with my hair and highly recommend her, especially if you have fine hair and are considering extensions.

His work truly shows in the time that goes into the consultation to make sure I get what I want. My roots were extremely grown out, the ends were dry, and the color was brassy. Jorge did his thing and brought my hair back to life! I'm totally comfortable at this salon as I wouldn't normally go to one in downtown. They make sure the door is locked for safety reasons. Downtown is hectic for parking but there are spots across the street and nearby to park for free like I did so. It's really cute and has great lighting inside for taking pictures of your new hair! I love that they offered me a beverage for the long appointment ahead. If you're looking to go blonde, Jorge (insta: boybraids) is your go to!

When…read moreI told her the bottom extensions came out, she blamed it on conditioner and fired me saying I was rude when I only informed her. She went from $300 to lift to $400 and then 500. She left the wefts not glued bf she put them in. Therefore tattered and damaged ends on the weft. When I told her she asked what happened. I'm not a hair dresser and trying to find someone on a Sunday to fix my mess was what I had to do because of work. I have known her for over ten years and because I couldn't get back to her ASAP she canceled all my future appointments with no phone call but through text which is extremely disrespectful. Also I referred several people and she charged me $150 more than the people I referred. I always tip 20%. I'm so glad this happened because when she was told not to worry about it I found someone to fix my hair. She asked if I wanted to come in on Tuesday when she's known for 12 years I work 12 hour days. I had no expectations of her coming in but she offered to take then out but would not put them back in. That would've been a nightmare. This has happened a couple times now. She over charges and her work has gone so down hill. I just didn't want to deal with my work and finding someone new. I should've left when she just out of no where started upping her prices only on me. I work extremely hard and she upped her prices and lowered her standards knowing I'd pay it. Don't come here!

Got it done 3 days ago so this is fresh. The color looks faded and wasn't the shade I asked for. Also, in the beginning it was uneven, and I had to ask to fix it and I felt like a burden when I did. The lady told me she doesn't have time now (even though I left the salon five minutes before I came back) so I told her I'm coming back to town in two weeks because I flew out especially to get my hair done and she said she doesn't know how it's gonna grow out in two weeks so she'll see if she could get it fixed now. All I could think when she said that was did I really just spent $600 on something that might start to grow out in only two weeks??? also there's not much of a difference between before and after my hair, every time I told her I wanted something done specifically she told me she was used to doing a different way and that's how she's gonna do it so I felt like I wasn't really heard as well. Besides all that the lady that did my hair was really nice. But- Super super disappointed. Now I'm gonna have to go somewhere else and pay extra money to get it fixed the way I wanted to. More reviews like mine would have saved me my money for sure, which is why I'm writing this. Do not recommend with my personal experience.
