We had bought many things from Furniture Row in Oregon and were very pleased so we were delighted to see there was a store in San Antonio. The price and quality of living room, bedroom, dining room and study furniture made our decision easy. In addition the salesmen were attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful, without being hovering and invasive. We accomplished everything. Traffic around and in the Forum is not for the weak hearted, but the store is just north on I 35 so access is easy. We can't wait to see our new things in our new place and we will definitely return when we decide which accent pieces we need. We have returned several times. Unfortunately our first bedroom and dining room selections were too big for our new small place. We realized that when we took our own measurements of our place without relying on blueprint measurements. Each time we returned, we received the same excellent service. I was helped in regard to pricing availability leadtimes etc. Once I placed the order it took a few days for me to realize that the lead time provided verbally (4-6 wks) and lead times documented in their contracts (10-12 wks) were off by several weeks. I feel it's important for the sales person (veteran) to at the very least communicate what's on the paper. Order was placed in early February and was not delivered until August. I did take the current circumstances in the world into consideration however it was I that had to request communication. I received one email in regards to the shut down due to covid and when they opened a few weeks later (3) and still took 4 months after they reopened and no updates on my order throughout the whole process unless I called . When I called I was provided estimated arrival dates with no follow up. When I called again I was told the couch had been completed and were shipping and still two months later from that cal and no couches and no call. Finally a week ago they came. Wrong pillows and damage under the chase. I immediately shared with delivery crew who then instructed me to take the pics and call it in. In the end the service was far below average, the communication was horrible, the "white glove service" was for me to do it myself. I did receive a credit for 300.00 for the pillows that were wrong so I could purchase my own (since I did not want to wait the estimate 10-12 weeks for them to be corrected. Over all , bad information at initial contact , no follow up from sales person , 6 months wait time for couches with minimal communication even when management was contacted, incorrect product (pillows). Below average delivery service. This review is consistent was the reviews I had read previously and hesitated but once I had my heart set on the couch I ended up buying I was hopeful my experience would be different. So far the product is nice looking and comfortable it's only a week in so I will repost in a year how my Laney sectional holds up. Advice if you do business here , be prepared to do all the follow up , expect extended lead times, inspect your order and take your own pictures and call in while delivery company is there. If your unsure of design styles and colors they do have in house designer Maris and she was actually helpful and talented and was apologetic over the experience when I first called In and was the only person in the whole process who actually showed concern about my Experience.

We were swarmed as soon as we walked in the door and even though we told the individual that we didn't need any help, and that we would come find him if we needed anything, he proceeded to try to talk to us and follow us all around the store. Not 30 seconds after that the manager comes up to us and introduces himself and says he wants to know if his staff is giving us everything we need. He asked if we had ever been in before, and I told him I was in there yesterday by myself just looking before I brought my wife. He actually told me "oh yeah, I don't remember you". What a jerk! We politely told him we just wanted to be left alone so we can look at furniture and he also proceeded to follow us around the store and try to talk to us. This was the worst furniture shopping experience we have ever had. We even told the initial sales person that we can get everything they have in the store discounted through AAFES (armed forces exchange service) without tax so we weren't planning on buying anything there. We just wanted to sit on a couple of sectionals to see if there were any that we liked. Despite saying that, he still came back and kept hounding us and every time we were around the corner, there was again. He seemed very desperate to sell something and offered a steep discounts off the price shown. I felt like I was bartering at a border town. We finally found a side door and just walked out. Not sure who would buy anything from this store. If you want to be bothered, not actually be able to look at the furniture, but constantly be surrounded and hounded by sales people, then this may be the place for you. We were told it would be 1-3 weeks for delivery because it was coming from California. And that he would keep us updated. I wasn't happy about the time line but had been looking for a good day bed for awhile to use for my family when they came to visit. Which I did delay since I didn't have the bed for them to spend the night on. On June 5th we called on the status of our bed. Because we hadn't been called in 2 weeks. He told us it would be another 4 weeks. And he would keep us updated with calls and texts. It's June 27th now. Which he still has 6 days to deliver. But we haven't been updated at all since June 5th And he said he would keep us updated so we could make sure someone was home for delivery. I would not have agreed to this purchase if I had known it would turn into a 6 week wait. We plan on calling again Monday June 28th. I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of updates that he promised us. If it's another couple weeks wait when we call, I do plan on canceling the order and purchase a different day bed as I have family coming over July 3rd and need a bed for them. The Owners were so kind, they wrapped my art in bubble wrap and tissue paper to ensure it's safe travels to its new home. Prices are reasonable, wide variety of antiques in store.
